Everyone knows I am a fan of the south Austin location, their Buda location sits on I-35, & is spectacular also. Waiting list moves swiftly while gorgeous Rose keeps the place running smoothly & on point during breakfast & lunch today. I was greeted by Brianna, with energy & beautiful personality. Brianna Never stopped working. Refilling drinks and making sure everyone had everything they needed to enjoy their meal. My plate was served by Elisa. Elisa was on top of it & my food was cooked perfectly. I always leave here knowing I will return very soon. Do yourself a favor & stop by when traveling through Buda!! Exceptionally Clean restrooms here.

    Great food and ambience!

I love Dan's. Great diner atmosphere, quality food, friendly service. I get a cheeseburger with bbq sauce and bacon, small order (which is plenty) of curly fries, and a chocolat shake. About $12-13.00. Breakfast is good too. It's a great place to meet up with friends. I highly recommend it.

I ordered one breakfast taco with bacon egg and potato. The tacos are pretty good here, but for some reason, the bacon has become extremely rancid. I'm not sure if the griddle grease needs to be changed, or what but the bacon tasted really nasty. This is the second time in a row I've noticed it. I won't be coming here again until it's fixed.

Just went through the drive through this morning and this lovely lady that served me I guess forgot to put a extra cheese I had paid for because I opened my burger and only see one square cheese . Anyhow the hickory bacon burger was smashed and ugly and pressed down hard with their fingers . I could see the finger prints . And the hickory hardly had any sauce . I would and should have returned this for my money back. 6$ for this and they forgot my cheese and hardly any sauce . Lady please do better next time

Needing to take a lunch break, I was told about Dan's Hamburgers by a friend. I gave it a try and I'm really glad I did. First thing I noticed, it looked like an old Diner. The lady that took my order said she has worked at Dan's for 25 years! The menu is just large enough for you to get what you want. I was told to get the double cheeseburger, so I did. Man!! This burger is something like your grandmother would have fixed for you. Big Juicy Made when ordered Fresh vegetables..... I can tell you, you will not find a better burger!! I tried the homemade onion rings too. They were delicious They even serve breakfast, and I hear it's a place that needs to be tried. If you're from Buda, Texas I'm sure you know about Dan's, but if you're not, stop by and give them a try. Go get Full

So I actually wanted to eat at whataburger next door, but they had cones blocking the entrance. So I saw how long the line was for Dan's at 6am in the morning. I assumed it must be good if that many people are waiting in line at the drive thru! I waited about 20 mins and it was worth the wait!! It was so good and everything was fresh and made to order!! It was affordable and definitely not overpriced! I loved everything and my taco was very full and flavorful! I'm so happy to find this hidden gem! I will definitely be back!!

Very Disappointed -- We Won't Be Returning…read more This place used to be one of our favorites, but unfortunately, things have really gone downhill since the refurbishment. The menu has changed, the portions are noticeably smaller, and the prices have gone way up. I don't mind paying for good food, but I do expect the food and experience to justify the price. This is starting to feel like the prices of the downtown tourist spots, as if they think we're in Fredericksburg. Most of the people who live here are hardworking, middle-class families. We don't mind spending money, but we shouldn't have to pay premium prices for smaller portions simply because a restaurant has a Main Street view. Sadly, this used to be a favorite of ours. It isn't anymore, and we won't be returning. Start looking at why places are closing down, because you're NOT getting community support! I wonder why? I would like to say that the service has always been good it's just the prices and how they charge for everything separately now.. nope!

According to Cristiano, store manager, both the Austin and Buda locations share the same owner, although each offers a unique experience. One key difference is that Teal House does not serve coffee. Instead, coffee is available next door at Meridian through the businesses' shared entrance. Teal House focuses on baked goods including breakfast tacos, breads, and pastries. Cristiano shared that their cinnamon rolls have won awards, which naturally made us curious enough to try them ourselves. Quite honestly, we were pleasantly surprised. The cinnamon rolls were soft, flavorful, and loaded with icing. If we had to make one suggestion, it would be to offer a version with pecans, our favorite type of cinnamon roll. Teal House is also a boutique and wellness-oriented space that offers a variety of medicinal products displayed along one huge wall. In addition, shoppers can shop for clothing, home décor items such as pillows and quilts, and an assortment of artifacts. Super cool find...

We want to share that every time we've come in, we've had such a wonderful experience. I'm so sorry this is coming a month & half after we visited but it's been a little crazy lately. Not sure if you remember us but my husband Tim who's a desert storm combat veteran tanker has stage 4 cancer & isn't doing very well. We stopped in after a radiation appointment & Tim wasn't able to eat unfortunately but luckily for us, we had such an amazing server! First off, YOU are an amazing manager! We've never met a manager that cares enough to go to each table to say hi & see how their experience is going... TOP NOTCH!! Being a vegetarian, this is my go to place with ALL the vegetarian/vegan options! Amazing! We were both exhausted & drained, we had just come from radiation, **Tim was ill & not feeling good at all so we apologized to her right off the bat, so she didn't think we were rude... We had such an EXCEPTIONAL experience with Soph S & had to tell you about her! She went above & beyond to serve us with PURE KINDNESS! She was aware of Tim's situation and did everything possible to make him comfortable. She surely didn't have to do anything out of the ordinary, but she did! She talked to us, listened to Tim's story & had so much empathy! Tim & I were both crying when we left because it was so unexpected! She shared with us that cancer was in her family as well, so she wanted to make Tim feel good. We are 1000% so APPRECITATIVE for her & her kindness towards us both. What an absolutely AMAZING soul she has. Thank YOU for employing employees like Soph S. We are beyond grateful for her & our experience there that day! I attached a picture of us & our receipt with the details from our visit & again sorry it's been a month & a half... Have a wonderful day! Kim Covaleda & Tim Maw

We walked in, told the person at the front our name and were seated quickly. The restaurant is nice. It includes a little market in one section with various food items that you can purchase. There is also a seating area with couches near the market section. The restaurant has different sized tables for seating. Not long after being seated we were greeted by a waiter that did an excellent job taking care of us the entire time we were there. He took our drink order, gave us menus and some time to decide what we wanted. After a few minutes he brought us our waters and took our order. We ordered several items. El Olivo which is a garlic bread. It was okay. The bread was good. It was nice and warm and the garlic flavor was all on top. Whipped Feta which comes with grilled Naan and cucumber slices. The Naan was okay. It was a little cold and needed to be warmed up a little more for my liking but my kids ate it up. The cucumbers were fresh and crisp and the whipped feta was pretty good. It had a slight lemon flavor but not enough to where you could taste the lemon with every bite. Pork belly chicharron which had pork with avacado covered in a sauce. It came with tortilla chips. The tortilla chips were thick and crispy. Perfect for scooping up some of the pork belly. The pork belly was delicious. The sauce that covered it added flavor and the avacado was fresh. The Lamb chops came with Lamb, carrots and a puree. The lamb itself was excellent. It was cooked perfectly and was tender with each bite. The carrots were slightly sweet and the puree was soft. It was a good mix of different textures with each bite. The Truffle mac and cheese was a macaroni and cheese with chives and truffle flavor. This was very tasty. The macaroni was tender, the chives were spread out and added that slight onion flavor. The cheese was very flavorful. One of my kids ate almost all of this. Barbacoa Doughnuts which are mini doughnuts filled with barbacoa topped with a salsa. I don't really like barbacoa but I tried them and was pleasantly surprised. These were delicious. It was basically a soft and warm mini doughnut filled with flavorful barbacoa. The sauce on it added a slight spicy flavor. Patatas Bravas are potatoes with salsa and a garlic aioli sauce. These were very tasty. That salsa and aioli sauce are what gave this dish all of its yummy flavor. The potatoes had a crispy exterior with a soft interior. All of the ingredients mixed together made a very good side dish. One of my sons ordered the Dos Olivos Burger with Tater Tots. He said that the burger was okay. I tried it and I agreed. The tater tots were good. He ate those up with some ketchup. My other son ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwiches with everything on the side. He substituted a salad instead of the fries. He ate the salad up. He also ate the Fried chicken from the sandwich. He said it was good. He is not a fan of sesame seed bread so he opted not to eat the bun. I tried the red cabbage apple slaw that it comes with and it was okay. Lastly I ordered the Beet Salad which comes with beets, pears, and candied pecans. I don't usually eat beets but I wanted to try it. It was very good. The beet chunks were large and soft but not overly soft. The pears and the candied pecans added a crispier texture and the mixture of all of the ingredients along with the sauce that was on it made this a super sweet beet salad. Almost like a dessert. It was delicious. Overall the restaurant is a cool spot to visit. The market is a neat addition that adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.
