I called them on it and the guy behind the counter tried to blame it on a "new employee. The only way I got my money back was after I called the mayor and complained and I got my money back. If you're new in there and you're a woman they automatically think you're stupid and they're gonna steal as much money from you as they can. I would go anywhere else in that area except there.

I was passing through town when I ran into an overheating issue with my car. Being 100 miles from home I had to put my faith in an unfamiliar business. Firstly I will say that he made my vehicle priority, with a very fast turn around. Upon "fixing" the overheating issue, he told me that they had issues troubleshooting but zeroed in on a faulty thermostat. After a $220 dollar bill I left town initially satisfied....until the following day when I again had the same overheating issue. This time my coolant boiled over. When I called Tom, he told me that he fixed the problem. Although that's obviously not the case, if the problem were actually "fixed" my car would not be overheating. Instead of apologizing for obviously not being thorough enough with either his diagnostic procedure or the installation of the new thermostat, he gave me attitude for inquiring about what work his shop actually performed while basically telling me to be grateful for the speedy turn around and "low price" of the fix. In my mind, neither the price nor the speedy turn around should get much bearing when you consider that the problem still persisted and being an overheating issue, his faulty fix could very well have caused further issue. His fair price is in actuality $220 wasted. Next time I will pay for the tow truck home and take my vehicle to someone tested and trusted.
