It's a family office with technology you see in higher income areas so I don't have to spend additional travel time to get superior care. Dr JJ is very caring and capable and I've always had great support here. If you've had a bad experience here, you might want to look inward and examine your behavior first.

GF had taken her kids and been seen by Dr. Jeff on two separate occasions, but it took their office (who only has this one horrible lady managing their insurance claims) SIX MONTHS to INCORRECTLY bill the COPAY at $1800! For reference, the GF's insurance caps in-network dentistry copay at $75; but this lady has the audacity to turn a customer away from a scheduled visit because she TOO LAZY to pick up the phone and confirm with the company on the CONTRACTUAL amount their office agreed to charge to get business from this insurance's clients! So this secretary "guestimates (her words)" the the GF needs to pay $200 before she'll let her see the dentist! My partner questioned best business practice and asked for verification of the amount, that got refused. GF starts getting heated and asks to speak directly with the doctor ("Maybe the Doc values his business more than this lady does"), so the secretary refused service and asked her to leave. My GF questioning this lady almost went "Full Karen" trying to get straightforward answers on why the bills/copays were so drastically different on paper. Currently, she's in tears having lost a dentist that actually accommodated both her and her children. DO NOT give this office business with a face like this. That lady's got to go.

I called on a Friday afternoon and they had Me booked that Monday morning for a consultation. My visit was for a "second opinion" Dr. Silva "saved" My tooth and enabled Me to be able to get a crown, instead of having it pulled which was the recommendation of My old dentist. They treat you like a friend or family here from the moment You walk in! Staff was extremely attentive and highly skilled. I was amazed at the professionalism and expertise of the hygienist working on my crown. She was also incredibly kind. You get what You pay for. Make sure You check with insurance before booking a procedure. This office uses state of the art technology. If you just need "routine" dental care may not be your place. But for fillings and crowns, they are top of the line. I am so thanful I called their office! The quality and professionalism of the practice is outstanding, and the modern layout of the building is really impressive. I've been a patient of Dr. Leuchtmann for years, probably since the practice opened. I've always felt welcome and had a pleasant experience, until my most recent appointment. As a mom of 4 children, I do my best to try to have child care when I visit the dentist, but unfortunately, that is not always an option. I've brought my children to appointments at their office numerous times over the past 7-10 years and it has never been an issue. The hygienist yesterday actually complimented how well behaved they were more than once, so you can imagine my surprise when the receptionist scheduling my next appointment informed me that I would only be able to bring ONE child to my next appointment, siting "safety concerns". I was so taken aback that I really didn't know what to say. I could understand if they were running around the office, causing a ruckus and misbehaving, but they literally just sat in the room the entire time and watched their iPads...3/4 didn't even really speak the entire time. I contacted the office and was told by the office manager that this is the policy, so if you have children, find a different dentist- they aren't welcome here.

I feel compelled to warn customers about the business practices of Creve Coeur Dentistry after our…read morerecent experience. My husband went in for an occlusal mouth/bite guard & spent 2 hours mostly sitting in the chair waiting to be seen. He was told he needed a new guard and would have to pay $325 out of pocket to have the mold started. The office refused to run it through insurance first citing that "they never pay for mouth guards." Mouth guards were always previously covered by insurance so my husband was weary. I called BCBS-IL through Boeing to verify coverage. Our insurance informed us that our copay for mouth guards is only $95 and that the rest of the cost is pre-negotiated in the contract Creve Coeur Dentistry has with BCBS-IL. And that as long as the office is in network only the copay is out of pocket. The insurance company informed us that Creve Couer Dentistry is overcharging us & they filed a grievance to get the remaining $230 of our money back. Always call your insurance to verify coverage before proceeding with this office. I am a patient of Dr. Mooney there for Orthodontics and he is wonderful. But after my ortho treatment is complete we will be leaving this office and finding a new dentist. As a nurse, I was impressed with how nice & clean the office is but they have very shady/questionable business practices. It is unfortunate.

As a matter of fact, my whole family has been coming here and we have never had an experience as the one listed. I'm not saying it didn't happen, because I don't know, but I'm sure they haven't built their business with such treatment. I'm not excited to go to the dentist, but they always take good care of me. My dentist is Dr. Rizzuti and I am lucky my mom found him many years ago. He helps me relax and takes very good care of me, especially when I was going through my broken jaw experience. It was by no means fun, but it was bearable. I've had my fair share of dental experiences since I broke my jaw. I have had 8 or 9 root canals and they all went well and I know everyone has a different response to root canals. My friends face swelled up, but it has never happened to me, I guess I'm lucky in a way. I have had a couple fillings and lots of cleanings. The hygienists can be hit or miss. They have the hardest job, but some are nicer than others is all I'm saying. I guess it's hard to clean teeth and be super gentle especially if you don't come in every 6 months as suggested. It's a bad habit I've gotten into. Since I don't have dental insurance I have to pay upfront or set up a payment plan. If you pay in full you get a 10% discount which is really nice. The ladies at the counter where you pay are so nice and helpful. My mom comes here a lot and the ladies remember me and who my mom is. I haven't gone to the dentist with my mom in I don't know how long, but they always remember. That is a nice touch.
