From when you first come in, until you get out of that dentist chair, very professional and always offering me advise to better oral hygiene. They are great if you don't have insurance they will work with you and if you are low income they are great. When I arrived for my appointment, it was the same thing. The dentist seemed very competent and friendly, as well as the hygienist and the other employees. My problem took place in the middle of my extractions. I don't know if they are trying to save money or what, but they turned off the medication while they were still pulling a tooth out of my mouth. My wife said she could hear me from the waiting room and I know the doors were closed when I sat down in the chair. Once they were finished, they woke me up. Put ice on my jaws handing me a bowl of ice cream and hustled me out the door. Again, I can't can't say how nice and polite everybody was, but it certainly worries me that for whatever reason the medication was turned off in the middle of my oral surgery. Not a pleasant way to spend your day at all.

Since my first phone call with them they were so helpful and kind, I really felt welcomed and that they really wanted to help me. They worked with me to make sure my insurance would cover everything and even returned my calls and kept me up to date. They called to remind me to not eat or drink the day of my surgery and the day of they were so nice and informative, they made sure I was comfortable and wanted me to ask any questions I had. My wisdom teeth removal went great and although I don't remember leaving, my boyfriend was filled in on how to follow up and care for my mouth for the next week. The hygienist opinion was that I needed a deep cleaning and for this deep cleaning I should have paid over thousand dollars despite my insurance. The dentist said they would treat me before this deep cleaning was not done. Even the lady at the front desk was arguing that I need a deep cleaning when I wanted to schedule a normal appointment for a regular cleaning. I went for a second opinion into another office of Aspen Dental. They told me that no deep cleaning is needed, because I have healthy gums. Deep cleaning is for inflamed gums. I seemed to me that the management in the Chippewa office wants to make money and not really treat and help people. Be aware of this! Go for a second opinion if they "demand" deep cleaning.

In March my dentist told me that I had extreme deep gum pockets on my wisdom teeth and If I don't get them removed that I would develop a abscess, that would be really painful, infectious and my face would be swollen. I decided then to have my wisdom removed. I was referred to Dr. M my Dr's office. I'm so glad I was. He was excellent. I got the local anesthesia because it was too expensive for the sedated anesthesia so I was nervous thinking that I would feel alot of pressure in the process of having my wisdom teeth removed but I didn't feel nothing, not even the injections from the needle. Dr. M. Was great! I would definitely recommend him 1000%!!

He convinced her to allow him to place an implant, even though her dentist had a plan in place for replacing the tooth. She was charged well over $3000. My Mother didn't fully understand what was happening. And was not given time to think about it or to talk with family. She is on hospice and still has just the implant post, which takes months to heal. And if she gets a tooth to attach to the implant, it will be much more money that should be going for her end-of-life care. Shame on him! Do not trust him!
