Each appointment, I've been welcomed in a friendly manner, brought back by the hygienist quickly and had a great overall experience. One of the hygienists, Donna, has become someone I specifically request now. She does an excellent job - not only in her thoroughness during the cleaning but also in educating her patients about maintaining good oral hygiene. I feel so much more informed since I've been coming and know I'm in good hands! If you're looking for a great dentist office, the search is over! Call the office Monday 3.31.25 and they get me right in at 10. The dental assistant did x rays and we move to a room. The Dr. Blake Shelton came in and put in back to fit. Fits fine. He then checked my teeth and okayed the girl to put it back on. She puts it. I'm thinking she's checking placement. Nope. She starts to clean the cement. Whoaaaa ma'am this doesn't feel right. Why would need a new bridge when the one I have just fitted correctly 5 minutes ago. They won't get another dime from me. My regular dentist is on maternity leave. I will be the first person to admit that going to the dentist gives me major anxiety. This morning…read morewas no different and I was a ball of nerves as I entered Woodland Dental. I was quickly and pleasantly surprised by the inviting office environment, comfy couch, and friendly office staff. I had a very short wait and Chris led me back to the exam room. He was knowledgeable and precise and made me feel confident I was in the right place. Dr. Rosenburger was warm, friendly, and welcoming as soon as he stepped into the room. I felt very comfortable during the entire exam. I have now returned for a second appointment to have a lower tooth extracted. I was VERY scared about it being seven months pregnant and knowing I had limited pain management options for after the procedure. Once again the doc made me feel calm and comfortable. He rubbed a numbing gel on my gums and I didn't feel anything! Not the shots to numb the tooth, not the drill and none of the extraction!! It was a difficult extraction and I even needed to have a few stiches, but I felt nothing. I used Tylenol every 2 to 4 hours for one day after and now I feel as good as new. No wonder this office is on the list of best St. Louis dentists for 2015! My entire family has just found a new dentist.

They made me feel as though I was a million dollar patient. They went far above their duties to not only help me sort out my insurance issues but also to make sure that I was comfortable and pain free while my surgery was being performed. The Dental Surgeon, Dr. Alexander, is one of the most personable professionals l that I have come in contact with. He treated me as a person and not just another patient. When I had a problem obtaining my prescribed medication after office hours I called his answering service, not expecting a solution until the office reopened on Monday. I was surprised that within an hour of calling the service I received a call back from Dr Alexander himself. He even gave me his private cellphone number in case anymore problems should arrive. Who does that in 2025? As much as I try to avoid the dentist, I can't wait to go back.
