I called on a Friday afternoon and they had Me booked that Monday morning for a consultation. My visit was for a "second opinion" Dr. Silva "saved" My tooth and enabled Me to be able to get a crown, instead of having it pulled which was the recommendation of My old dentist. They treat you like a friend or family here from the moment You walk in! Staff was extremely attentive and highly skilled. I was amazed at the professionalism and expertise of the hygienist working on my crown. She was also incredibly kind. You get what You pay for. Make sure You check with insurance before booking a procedure. This office uses state of the art technology. If you just need "routine" dental care may not be your place. But for fillings and crowns, they are top of the line. I am so thanful I called their office! However, after a few more visits, my experience with the administrative and billing side of the office changed my opinion. My son's temporary crown came off a couple of times, which required repeat visits. Everyone remained friendly, but it was still inconvenient. The bigger issue for me happened during my own appointment. I had already paid my portion in advance, and the remaining balance was supposed to be billed to my insurance. I stopped at the desk just to double-check that I didn't owe anything before leaving, and was told they "never know if or what insurance will pay." That immediately raised questions for me because I've never heard that before, and I've never had issues with my insurance not paying. When I asked for clarification, I was met with rude, dismissive responses and passive remarks that made it sound like my insurance might not cover anything. She acted annoyed that I even asked questions after her comments. When I stepped out of the office I realized I had forgotten something and walked back in to retrieve it, two staff members were visibly laughing, clearly about the situation and my questions. That was extremely unprofessional and honestly hurtful. I left feeling very disrespected. I want to be clear that I'm not taking anything away from the hygienists or dental staff, they were wonderful. But overall, the experience was so disappointing. There are too many dentists out there to tolerate being treated disrespectfully, especially when the questions I asked were legitimate. This whole situation could have been handled in a completely different way, and we all could have gone on with our day feeling professionally satisfied.

I let them know if they don't want me as a customer to let me know, a lot of dentists accept my insurance. Their reply was "Ok we will remove this appointment from their schedule per my request, I never requested the appointment to be removed, I told them that I made the appointment, and I WILL BE THERE. They have lost a customer of around 8yrs because they have a tight scheduled and have a long waiting list, so they send a threating text. I would give them a zero if I could.

I have been inquiring about the bridge for my teeth since before Christmas. I am still waiting on a call back of the cost. I have reached out to the practice manager. She did not even bother to call me back about my concerns. A couple of the girls call me back from the Office said that they were gonna keep in touch with me and let me know. I've heard nothing! It is extremely frustrating when you are in customer service yourself and run an office and know how it should go, especially when you reached out to the practice manager. Me and my family have decided to sever our ties here. Which is unfortunate because who really wants to start all over at another dentist practice, but I will not be treated in this way... this makes me feel very unimportant to this office and that they are not really trying to help me. So for that, I'll just take my business somewhere else. No communication in the office. The practice manager does not return phone calls no matter what the concern is. I've reached out to her twice.. I can't say enough great things about the office staff, the dentist hygienist, or Dr. Harris. Very professional, caring and always concerned that you were comfortable during the whole procedure. I have been using this practice for almost 20 years. Everyone one in my immediate family goes to this practice. Dr. Harris tries to make sure he is finished within the time allowed and he is very good at managing the time it takes to do your procedure. I highly recommend this Dentist, and this practice.
