Walking into Dapper I was terrified as I needed a relaxer and my hair was just crazy. Paige was my stylist and from the moment I walked in she made me feel at ease. Went for another revision and they randomly selected a stylist I'd never met who busted out a razor and started cutting into my long hair rather than fixing the bangs. First, I'll preface that I had a good haircut from them. But it bothered me that I made an early morning appointment as a first-time customer. The place was empty when I arrived. The only customer getting her hair styled was with the stylist I was scheduled with. 5 other employees were wide open and sitting around chatting and gossiping at the register. After 15 minutes, the owner should have offered to have someone else cut my hair. I ended up waiting 25 minutes for my trim, which took 8 minutes. That would have been fine if the place was busy, but it was just a bunch of employees standing around. Not a great first impression. read more

So I'm very picky on who cuts my hair. I just recently moved to Boca Raton and was recommend this place. When I walked in I was nervous. First I got a barber hair cut but this lovely lady. She was more worried about leaving for the day then taking care of me. I was VERY upset with my cut and they let me see Brad right after. He fixed it to the best of his ability. After I let my hair grow about a month I went back to Brad and wow. He did everything right. My hair was on point and exactly how I wanted it. I'm so happy that I was able to find someone down here. Finally found my new spot ! It's not always easy to find a sick barber and a great vibe but Daps has it all! I sat down and immediately got served a cold brew with the game on. Gianna and the GK team are wonderful. I initially went in for a blow out with Nicole, which was a great experience. While I was there, I saw Gianna finishing up on a client's color in the background and was impressed with how beautiful the woman's hair had turned out-- so much so that I scheduled an appointment to get color done with her a few weeks later. My experience with when I went in for a balayage with Gianna solidified my first impression of the salon. She is incredibly talented, very knowledgable, and took the time to explain what would be my best options to maintain healthy hair (I have very curly, fine hair with a decent amount of heat damage). I really appreciated that she took the time to actually explain what she was doing and why, especially as someone who is relatively new to coloring my hair. Some salons can have a bit of a pretentious/unwelcoming atmosphere but the environment here is just the opposite with plenty of positive energy. Everyone is very friendly and sweet during my appointments and, if you get lucky, you may even get to meet Gianna's adorable pups when you stop in (pet therapy while you're getting pampered anyone?!).
