This place is great! The people staff and owner all are really down the earth. Karaoke and dj nights are very entertaining. Drinks are great. All good vibes.

The inside

This place is exactly what you hope to find in a bar but rarely do. The owner/bartender truly makes it special--welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell they care about every person who walks in. The crowd is just as great. Friendly, relaxed, and easy to talk to, which makes it a perfect spot whether you come alone or with friends. The atmosphere strikes that ideal balance--comfortable, laid-back, and just the right amount of energy. Drinks are well-made and fairly priced, which is honestly hard to find these days. Nothing feels rushed or overpriced--just good quality and good vibes all around. If you're looking for a place to unwind, have a solid drink, and enjoy good company, this is it.

Mary was very nice and welcoming. The IPA she let me try was great. Very fruity. The vibe was chill. If it was the weekend, I would've stayed longer

Boss Lady at the bar makes everyone that walks into it feel so welcome! Exactly what we are all expecting to when we walk into a Dive Bar in the Bay . Place cool! Going back anytime around Hayward, CA for sure.

We came on a Wednesday for karaoke and that was a fun night too. Their food in the back is sometimes a hit or miss. The drinks are always good but on the weekends when it's busy they limit the drinks to order to common drinks like margaritas shots and beer. I still haven't gone towards the back but I've seen in photos there is an outdoor there and I just found out they have a speakeasy downstairs through a hidden door in the wall up front. Can't wait to come again. I wish there were more places like this closer to me

Infact this is the first time I've been here since they opened the lower level and the lower level is definitely a dope addition. They have two separate drink menus for both levels and they also recheck ID for entering the lower level. Music here is always on point. They do a great job of mixing it up from classic bay area, to classic hip-hop and RNB and then back to current hip-hop and RNB. Drinks are usually hit or miss but bartenders, at least the lower level ones, are gorgeous babes. Of course I'll be back, even if I gave it and average rating it's still a good spot like I previously mentioned.

The diavola pasta had a great texture and a flavorful sauce, although it felt a little simple since there weren't many other ingredients mixed in. The crispy brussels sprouts weren't for me, not very crispy and a bit hard. The gelato was much better than I expected and ended up being a nice way to end the meal. The service was great though and the lighting inside nice! Overall, the meal was a bit hit-or-miss, but I'd come back to try more of the pizzas since those were definitely the highlight

Fantastic drink. My friend tasted mine and ordered the same. The selection is the draw here. Whiskey lines the entire back wall, the rarer bottles sit behind wire-mesh locked cabinets, and there is a deep bench of tequila, beer on tap, and wine to round things out. One look at the shelves tells you they have the base for any drink you want. We split the Margherita flatbread, pesto, fresh mozzarella, and blistered cherry tomatoes, and it hit the spot as a drinking snack. The menu goes deeper than expected for a bar, with sliders, naan tacos, and charcuterie if you show up hungry. Service was good considering the staff-to-crowd ratio. Sevan stayed attentive the whole time and clearly knows his stuff. The vibe is chill and conversation-friendly, not too loud for the size of the room, with a bank of TVs toward the back if you want to catch a game. Logistics are easy. The bar sits a short walk from Pleasant Hill BART and parking in the area was no trouble. I've been a few times before and this visit confirmed why I keep coming back. For a high quality cocktail in the East Bay, this is the spot.

The drinks/cocktails are great with an extensive selection in addition to their willingness to make things not on the menu as long as they have the ingredients. We only had "bar food" (french fries, onion rings, and my friends had wings) but the menu looked really interesting. Next time I will go back for some pizza or other things on the menu. The most unexpected part of the evening happened when they brought out a "cake" made of brownies and candle in it! My friend sneakily told them it was my birthday. The brownie cake was delicious and enough for many more than the 3 of us. Such a great place and I will be back soon!

The inside is dimly lit and decorated elegantly. I liked the inclusion of honeycombs in the lighting fixtures and even the ice in my drink. The darks and golds almost give Great Gatsby vibes. We all ordered a different cocktail from their signature menu. I got the Electric Nectar. The drink was a little tart and sour. The Buzzed & Bougie was very floral, and The Cusco Comb had a nice balance of flavors. Out of the 3, the Electric Nectar was probably the strongest in terms of tasting the alcohol. I don't particularly prefer sour drinks. If I were to re-order, I would get the Cusco Comb, as it fits my taste profile the most. We also ordered the Burrata to share. It came with 6 pieces of toast, which was perfect and divided evenly among the 3 of us. The burrata was delicious. The cherry gastrique added a nice touch of sweetness without being overly sweet. They post their updated schedule and the weekly secret password there since it changes regularly based on bookings. Here's what we tried: Cusco Comb (1000/10): Absolutely one of the best cocktails I've ever had. It was sweet, strong, and incredibly smooth without the alcohol being overpowering. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered a second one. I would honestly come back just for this drink alone. Honeycomb After Dark (9/10): Such a fun twist on an espresso martini! It reminded me of a Vietnamese coffee with a boozy kick. As the ice cream melted, the drink became even creamier and more delicious. Gin & Tonic (6/10): I'm not personally a gin and tonic fan, but my sister really enjoyed it. She thought the ratio of gin to tonic was spot on. Fries (6/10): Super crispy with a great texture, but they were a little too salty for my taste. The only downside is that there's only one bathroom, so keep that in mind if it's busy. If you're looking for a great spot to grab drinks in downtown, I highly recommend this speakeasy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the cocktails are outstanding, and the service is consistently excellent. I'd probably skip the food next time and eat somewhere else beforehand, then come here to enjoy the amazing drinks.
