Also a recommendation from friends who's in the neighborhood. We ended taking an uber as we weren't quite sure where it was. Honestly we could have walked there....lol... It was pretty lively when we walked in. They're open till midnight I believe and we arrived about 10:30. It's not quite a dive bar but somewhat better. Theres two pool tables right when you walk in through the back. Theres the bar counter along one side. I think there's only one bar. Besides that, food is also served. A good crowd with locals when we arrived. Both pool tables were utilized and a line was set. Drinks, we got a couple of the Moscow mules which was informed that they only had one cups left. Guess people take them. A couple of those and beer and margaritas. They were quite nice. Kitchen was still open, so we put in for some good. Heard that their fish and chips were good so that was ordered and the fried pickles. Food didn't take long to arrive. Yes, the fish and chips were quite nice. Two big chunks of fish which was nice and flaky. Served with tater sauce and marinara. Fried pickles were ok, a little too salty for my liking but good. The place was fun. A lively crowd there for the same reason. Drinks and having fun. Pool table was getting utilized the whole time. Food was quite nice. A fun local bar.

Asked eggs over easy the yolk was hard boiled no one checked on us at the end server was very sweet and sympathetic but breakfast was bad I gave contacted new owners twice Nothing So sad we have been supporting this establishment for 25 years

As a short term visitor, I'm really bummed we couldn't explore more. That being said, we were super happy with a couple of California brews, the Moksa Conflation and the Firestone Walker Krieky Koelship (dark and pink in photos). If you like beer, come. Didn't have the most friendly/welcoming bartender (Sunday afternoon, not super busy) but he could pour properly so whatever. $ only. ID mandatory.

I wasn't flattered - it was a power play, not a flattering comment, and not a legit question by him. This angered the scrawny bouncer. He only let me in after I promised to be nice to the employees and customers. I went there to meet a friend and being a jerk was the furthest thing from my mind. Frankly, the guy was so awful and idiotic (a certain R word comes to mind but I can't use it to describe someone) that I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Some of the employees are on some lame power kick and while they could ALL make more money if they were civil, they are more intent on bullying new customers than on providing good service. I cannot imagine why the owner thinks this is a good business plan unless they have brain damage. About the worst customer service I've had in my entire 53 years.

Unfortunately there was some kind of miscommunication, as we received the burger but with a meat patty. We alerted the staff and they were very apologetic, and made triple sure I got what I wanted. Hopefully they can find a local spot but there arent many spaces for the footprint 20 tables and other games need. Our experience was pretty standard. Enjoyed shooting some pool. Caught several games - wish they could vary the screens a bit more. When its a row of 4-8 TVs and they alternate the same 2 games across them, its meh. If they would put a different event on each screen - boom! Beers were cold, wish there were more rotating handles but I also get it. Why change what works - but for me, I like variety. The bar food was pretty decent. Mixed drinkers were strong (at least according to my other half!). Pics - yup, forgot again! Next time :) We'll find them when they reopen and go experience the fun. Hope its soon!

Dear Cody, "To love…read moreis to dream. Too often, to dream is to hurt." It's one of the many jaded expressions in Football that we all eventually experience. When we experience it, and only when we finally do, do we truly appreciate the painful wisdom embedded within those words. It's only your first World Cup, Cody, and you are already feeling the heartache. You spent much of the tournament at Kezar Pub, which you endearingly refer to as "the pub". Daddy lived his first World Cup with Goo-Ma in a more humble fashion -- through an antenna-enabled 18-inch television. You, in privileged contrast, were surrounded by probably more than 18 wide screen TVs and the best sound system in the business. Brilliant equipment aside, Kezar's atmosphere is inimitable. There is something special that spurs Daddy to share beers and jello-shots with new friends. That pub is a beacon for good times. I have many photos of you in your WC shirt sampling pub favorites with uncles and aunties. Bangers and Mash was a hit. Maybe a bit lukewarm on the Shepherd's Pie (Daddy loves it though). The Fish & Chippies though? Cody ate enough of the English staple to justify the face paint. I do NOT have videos of you receiving trinkets and high fives from the best owner and best pub staff in the world. I certainly do not have a video of Daddy screaming profanities whenever a certain scumbag referee gets on screen. Oh hey Cody, bullying players and referees is never okay, but also sometimes absolutely necessary (another wise Football adage). I do not have a video of you screaming We All Like Vindaloo after a goal. No videos of you sitting in the community benches doing Sprite-cheers with Portuguese / German / Swedish / Dutch / Mexican / Norwegian friends we shared seats with. Nothing of you flexing the Arsenal shirt you have underneath for whenever one of our boys scores (Kai Havertz scores again!!). I wish I did, but Daddy does not have a video of us pointing to the red number 10 shirt bellowing "Na-Na-Na-nananana! Nananana!" What we do have are memories that'll morph into stuff of legends. Legends we share with each other for a lifetime. Yes, we'll have the pain, too. Daddy's first dream was shattered by a red card in '98. Although, you know Cody, I don't actually remember the red card too well. Daddy's most visceral memory of that tournament was the wonder I felt as I kept asking Goo-Ma if Michael Owen is the fastest guy in the world. I still feel that kid-like wonder again whenever that moment floods my memory. Thats why Daddy thinks it's our good moments that stays with us. Cody, we had so many of them. The heart-stopping penalties we watched on the couch. The Jolibee-fueled game nights on Fridays. Those incredible, incredible times at Kezar Pub. Maybe years later, your most vivid memory of your first World Cup won't be of the gutting loss, just like Daddy's isn't of the '98 red card. Maybe years later, the moment you'll feel again is that Saturday against Norway. That feeling of triumph and jubilation and fearlessness  and that surreal feeling of singing Hey Jude with ALL of Kezar. Football hurts. And maybe it'll hurt again for many more tournaments, many more years. But you also know all the love that comes with football. Love that comes on the badge on your shirt, love that comes with going to Kezar Pub, and of course so much love in singing your favorite songs. After so many years of following the tournament, maybe Daddy can give you his own wise football expression: Don't let the possibility of hurt ever stop you from singing, Cody. "60 yearssss of hurttt, never stopped me dreammming"  Love always, Daddy

The place gets loud when a big game is on, but that is exactly what you want from an Irish sports bar. We were there for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, World Cup soccer, and UFC 250 all in the mix, and the place was packed with great energy throughout. The Guinness pour was excellent, clean lines, great head, perfectly poured. As a busy sports bar things will not always be spotless when it is packed, but the team did a great job keeping the bathrooms clean despite the volume on such a busy day. We spoke with the owner directly and he made sure we had a TV tuned to the hockey game, a genuinely nice guy who made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back.

The fish was perfectly cooked, and the portion size felt fair for the price. The staff struck a great balance -- friendly and attentive without constantly interrupting the meal to ask if everything was okay. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. At one point, the music was slightly loud for my liking. Another guest politely mentioned it, and the staff immediately turned it down and made sure everyone was comfortable. That kind of responsiveness really stood out. What truly went above and beyond was what happened after I left. I had forgotten my hat on the seat, and instead of just putting it in lost and found, our waiter actually ran out of the restaurant and caught up with me before I crossed the street to the parking area. That level of care is rare and genuinely appreciated. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. I'd absolutely bring my family here -- kids included -- and would recommend it to anyone considering stopping by. .

Service needs improvement…read more We went to this tavern to watch the World Cup soccer game. I was with a party at four and our dog. We sat out on the patio, which was dog friendly, which was very nice My gripe is that the service was rather slow, and the server wasn't very friendly. The kicker was we were ordering off the happy hour menu, which goes until 6 PM, and around 5:30 we asked the server if he would come back in about 15 minutes so that we can get our last order in before 6 PM He came back at 5:55 and we ordered a few more things from the happy hour menu and he said "happy hour is over, you can no longer order off the happy hour menu." I asked him "how can that be? It's still 5:55. The menu clearly states that happy hour goes until 6 PM plus we asked you 30 minutes ago if you can come back in 15 minutes and you said yes." He said he was told that happy hour is over and he can't take any more happy hour orders I told him to ask his boss or whoever told him that to come over and explain it to us He said the owner told him that I asked him please have the owner come over and explain that to us He went over and talked to the owner and then came back and said I can take your happy hour orders But that's just uncalled for you. They have a happy hour to attract business and they need to honor it. If it's 'till 6 o'clock they gotta take happy orders 'till 6 o'clock. Cutting people off five minutes early just results in upset customers. It's poor way to run a business. Other than that, the place is OK Food was all right, nothing to write home about. I won't be coming back.
