HORRIBLE TINT JOB! I took my brand new car to this place back in September 2024. Seven windows to be exact. Took 50 minutes to complete the job which I though was kinda fast but ok. The young man parked my car outside as an indication that the job was complete. After I paid, I walked around to inspect the job and there were some corners where the tint was already peeling. I brought it up and he said it's normal, while simultaneously applying squeegee on the surface. (I personally thought it wasnt normal to leave those peeling corners left alone). Also noted to him the there was a big bubble in the rear window and before he took a look at it, he was already explaining that it's normal. But sure enough, he felt the need to make some adjustment to get rid of the bubble, indicating it needed attention. He also said that I will see tiny bubbles but rest assure that it will cure after a week. I didn't believe him and left the shop with a lot of curiosity in my mind. Fast forward to today, February 2026, those bubbles still exist. The bigger bubble in the back window is still there. Although I'm over it, I feel the need to explain their work and the money I paid for the job wasn't justified. read more

For further perspective, the tint we were having removed was 8-9 years old and we were having new tint placed. When messaging, we were quoted a total of $110 for removal. When we arrived it went up to $250. Again, if the owner would have advised that the reason for the increase was due to it being more difficult, we would have at least understood. The issue is he acted like he had no knowledge of the conversation and took no accountability. He also stated they did not have monthly specials and did not know where we got the messages. Also, I find it interesting that the owner responded almost a year later but could not recall the messages when we were there in person. I had my car tinted at Darkside Window Tinting, and while the owner, Ruben, is a really nice guy, and the tint quality and pricing are great, the installation process was extremely disappointing. After the first installation, every single window had bubbles. I initially thought it might be due to the rainy weather preventing the film from curing properly under the sun. Ruben was very apologetic and offered to fix the issues, which I appreciated. However, during the second visit, it became clear that the problem wasn't the weather--it was the installation technique. Ruben mentioned that tinting is never "perfect," which I understand, but this wasn't just minor imperfections--every window had bubbles, which is far beyond an acceptable margin. I've had cars tinted before, and while a tiny imperfection here and there is normal, this level of bubbling was unacceptable. Another major issue was how messy the installation process was. When applying the tint, Ruben left excessive soapy water inside the car without taking proper precautions. Just like how professional painters cover areas to avoid overspray, the same care should be taken when applying window tint. Instead, my interior was left messy, with soapy residue reaching areas that I couldn't even fully clean. This level of carelessness was frustrating. What frustrated me the most was that during the second visit, my driver's side window still had bubbles, and I was about to be sent home like that. I had to insist that it be fixed, and under my supervision, he managed to get it perfectly installed. This proves that a flawless installation is possible, but it seems to come down to attitude and professionalism. Later that evening, when I checked the other windows, I found more bubbles and even parts of the tint peeling off. I had to fix some of it myself, but one large bubble remains. If the job can be done perfectly when supervised, then the issue isn't that perfection is unattainable--it's simply a lack of care during the process. I'm not here to leave a dishonest or unfair review--the pictures will speak for themselves, showing the first installation and second installation results. Bottom line: If you don't mind a "not perfect" job, this place might still be worth considering because the 3M tint quality and pricing are good. But if you care about proper installation and a clean, professional job, be prepared for a frustrating and messy experience. read more

Showing up to the appointment the parking was limited but they took in my car right away which was really nice so I didn't have to worry about parking. They told me it was going to be 3-4 hours but I only waited around 3 and a half which was really nice. I was referred her by another tinting shop because it was closer to where I live. The place itself is great, it has a large space where the cars are done indoors and driven right into the shop. Comfortable waiting area. The guy at the shop was very friendly and professional, went over all my options and different shades of tint. Also answered any question I had instead of trying to rush me. I chose 3M ceramic IR for the back window and 4 side windows for $350. Considering the price of ceramic I think this was a really great deal. The job took about 2 hours, but he worked quickly and didn't take a single break, which I wouldn't have been bothered if he did. After the job was done everything looked great, of course it will need a couple of days to settle so I will continue to update this at that point. For now, I would recommend this shop!
