When I say this place is the best, I mean it is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Darla and her dolls made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked through the door. Her shop is extremely clean, well kept, and in the most convenient location. The vibe in the shop is so laid back and positive that you won't want to leave. I came for the first time to get dolled up by the best for my 26th birthday (full weave and lace closure) and I did not leave disappointed. I've been feeling myself ever since. I just left Darla's and had to come on here right away to give my review!!! And this will be my first review since i never do them, but because this salon deserves it!!! Due to all that's going on I wasn't able to get my Brazilian wax so when I found Darla and seen she was taking appointments I booked right away not even knowing what to expect but I'm blown away!!! Great first experience at the Salon. Scheduling an appointment was an easy process.The Braider showed up on time at least 20-30 before the appointment. Nika was professional and did not have her cell phone between her ear and shoulder. My adult daughter wanted crochet braids. She also has multiple disabilities and can be fidgety. Listen when I say I enjoyed my experience I really enjoyed my experience. I went in for just a simple wash and blow dry because I needed a good wash. She offered for a good hot oil treatment so I decided to go with all the works. That wash was heaven on earth. I love me a good wash and blow dry. I will most definitely be going back. Just left and i must say for my first experience it was the best. I got the brazilian wax and i wasnt uncomfortable or anything. Darla was very professional and informative. Lash Training Course was one of the most fun and professional classes I have had the pleasure to take! The instructor and owner Darla was Very kind and welcoming of her students , Gave lots of tips, pointers and made me feel very confident . I have always had bad experiences with black owned salons. The stylist is either late, overbooked, and or doesn't do what i ask. Darla was the complete opposite. Let me tell you yessss! Being mixed and having such curly hair it has been such a challenge for the past 5 years for someone to cut my hair and style my hair properly!
