March 13, 2026 was my first time going there and I was really impressed with how attentive everyone was - Ang and David were both so kind and friendly. While I was there, I noticed they had a salon chair, so I asked Ang if someone there cuts hair, and she said she does. So aside from getting my nails done, I also decided to get a haircut. Unfortunately, my left pointy fingernail started chipping after only six days. I had gel, so I was a bit disappointed that it didn't last as long as I expected. NEVER COMING BACK!! I came in around 10:30am on Sunday, 03/15/26 and immediately was greeted nicely from the front lady which I believe was the owner. I told them I wanted a pedicure & full set done. The lady that did my toes took so long to do my pedicure. She was so slow & tried to be sneaky w/ doing the 5 minute massage. Moving along, THE MAIN REASON WHY I AM DOING THIS REVIEW IS BECAUSE THE GUY THAT DID MY NAILS WAS UNPROFESSIONAL!!! He had already started on my nails at 11:30am. He glued them & he kept hurting me when he started filing w his drill over & over my skin so many times! He then began to paint over the nails w/out telling me to wash my hands. If you can picture how horrible the nails were it looked like there were a bunch of crumbs on my nails. So I told him "NO, this doesn't look right can you redo the polish let me wash my hands first." So he let me & we tried again. He stupidly grabbed the nail drill & drilled my hand over and over AGAIN! At this point I'm about to start crying bc I told him I have a lunch date at 2pm & it's 1:30pm. So I got made & told him to stop. I told the owner that he's not doing a good job then she turns around and talks crap in her language about what's going on. All that to say I still PAID HIM $70 all for him to not finish the damn job. I also paid the slow ass lady $50. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE EVER!!!! read more

They just opened this place so we decided to come try them out. They had about six people total working there. Everything looks new. We checked in waiting for like 15 minutes before they called us since we were just walk-ins once we sat down to get our pedicure they started working on us, but they do the most minimal service ever basically just clip your nails and clean your feet which is something I could do at home so we won't be back to this place unless they start doing better service read more

I got my brows waxed by Tina. She did AMAZING! Very sweet very professional. As soon as I walked in, she greeted me and showed me this little machine where I could check in. It took about 7 minutes for her to finish the client that she was on and then she asked me to sit in the gold chair. The gold chair was really nice really comfortable. Afterwards she started on my eyebrows. She sanitized them first, and then she brushed them up and cut them. After where she went in with the wax kind of painful, considering I haven't had my eyebrows waxed in about three years immediately after she plucked the straight hair sanitized again, showed me the mirror, and I was very pleased at the outcome! I just wanted a pedicure today. Here's my story. My nails had grown out quite a bit, so I wanted to get them clipped and gel manicured for the beach. For some reason the beautician took clipping as an extreme challenge, and only used cuticle clippers- like, WHY. She cut me twice, and cut skin off of the top of my toes. I asked her to "Please, file," while making nail filey hand gestures. She kept clipping. Never filed. She did file down my nail to unfamiliarly transparent state. I'll need to wait a while before my next pedicure. The callus removal was scary- but I thankfully made it through, cut-free. This is the most rigged pedicure I've ever had. I've added photos. My feet are ashy because she massaged lotion into them, but took it off by cleaning them with a hot towel (that seems backwards). Anyway, don't go here. Ever. read more

I finally found a nail shop that gives excellent pedicures in my city. I live in Compton and I normally travel to Las Vegas or Arizona, once a month to get a good pedicure, because most nail salons in California only give expensive feet washings. Well, I'm going on a cruise and desperately needed a pedicure so I took a chance and came into Amore. My technician was Cammy, she was awesome, she was detailed and gentle with my feet. I am so pleased, and their prices are reasonable. I will no longer have to travel out of state to get a decent pedicure. I will be a regular customer, Cammy is very pleasant and attentive. The lady who attended me took her time so I thought it would come out decent, but it didn't. I came to take off the gel and clean my nails(manicure) so I wasn't really worried about it being perfect but this lady didn't even take off all the gel and mind you they charge $5 to take off gel. Once I told her about it she got mad and gave a little attitude, I had to tell her FOR EACH NAIL to take off the gel she had left. In the end she still left gel and at that point I didn't say anything anymore. I told her I wanted clear and she gave me clear pink which to me looks horrible. At this point I'm taking it off once I get home. $25 for this service and she didn't even end up cleaning them. How do you mess this up I don't even know. read more

They didnt do simple request they agreed to before i was in chair that i asked for on nails, were rude, and i coulda let it go but then they charged a large amount to my card, said it didnt go through and made me pay them cash and when i got the card people on the phone and they said it did go through and i showed the vendor on the app and the card people told them it was the vendor and the vendor said it them...hell naw minus 10!stars...the people were beyond wretched to me, even flipped me off while painting my toenails and tried to put all thier ish on me, i wasnt rude to them and very regretful I gave them a tip. First of all the 1 star is because I can't give zero. DO NOT COME HERE! I AM WARNING YOU DO NOT COME HERE. I came to get my nails done a couple days ago and my nail got INFECTED! I had to take my arcrylic off & I had to go to the ER to get my nail cleaned & for a DR to cut off MY NAIL so he can clean it before it got worse. My finger turned purple as you can see in the picture. The ladies are nasty they don't clean their toools & they put me in so much unnecessary pain & I had to miss work to go to the hospital. She makes sure her utensils are clean and will alcohol them down in front of you. She shows your hands and feet the attention they need. All I can say is wow! I came in with hopes of finding a new nail salon now that we've moved to Compton. I haven't had a new nail tech in 8 years but with the travel I had to make some adjustments. So I did initially look to yelp to check this place out and I'm not gonna lie the pictures wasn't that appealing to me, but my husband said just go give them a try. I'm so glad I did.
