I've gone there several times for alignments. During my last visit, they told me I needed wheel bearings and gave me a written estimate of about $1,300 for parts and labor. I asked if I could supply my own parts, and they said yes, explaining only that they wouldn't be able to warranty customer-supplied parts. I specifically asked what the labor would cost and was told $645. I ordered the parts and, a few months later, called to make sure the labor price was still the same before bringing my car in. They assured me it was. When I arrived with my parts, instead of pulling up my original estimate, the employee created a new estimate with the labor increased by nearly $300. I stopped him and asked him to print my original estimate. He hesitated and only did so after I repeatedly insisted. The manager then came out and claimed the original labor price was only discounted because I was supposedly buying their parts. That explanation made no sense because I had already told them from the beginning that I would be supplying my own parts, and at that time they still quoted me $645 for labor. They never said that price depended on buying their parts. It felt like an excuse made up on the spot to justify charging me almost $900 in labor. To make matters worse, the parts they wanted to sell me were marked up by more than $500. I bought the exact same brand-new parts myself for only $170. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Make sure you get everything in writing, compare prices, and don't assume they will honor the estimates they give you. After leaving I discovered that they also have complaints with the Better Business Bureau as well

Although the service wase xcellent as usual, I discovered yet another valuable service on offer at Kwik Kar. With todays' costs on everything rising, its important that car owners have an estimate on car parts that will need replacement in the future for planning and budgeting purposes. Items like exhaust systems, brake pads and rotors, timing belts and chains etc. do and will fail unless replaced prior of failure. Preventive Maintenance. Scotty gave me a good rundown on when I could expect to replace my brakes on my Infinity and gave me a projection of when I will need to replace the exhaust system in my second auto, a Dodge Caravan. He came out and did a thorough diagnostic and determined the fuel pump was bad (I had just filled up my 50 gallon tank). He drained fuel and removed the tank and replaced the fuel pump and tested it. His fee was more than reasonable, probably less than any shop in town (if I could have found anyone who would take it). I highly recommend Horn's mobile repair. Also, I called Wards Towing, who was also fantastic and very reasonable!

I paid $2,300 for an alternator and battery change on my Infiniti Q50 that took them two weeks to fix. When I finally picked up the car, I noticed immediately that it wasn't running right. I drove the car back immediately to the shop and pointed out that the car was handling roughly. The manager then proceeded to go into a number of explanations, which felt like problem deflection and an attempt to gaslight someone who's not as mechanically inclined as them. A week later, I had to put my car back in the shop when the check engine light came on and was informed that Elite Auto did not re-connect key hoses/connections for the turbocharger back to the engine. This resulted in further time and worry (on my part) and damage to the car. Since then, the manager of Elite Auto has been unresponsive to my calls or request for response. Had I known what I know now, I would have sucked it up and paid for another expensive tow to a more competent shop. I'd urge anyone thinking of taking their car to Elite Auto to think twice and go elsewhere.
