I always feel like they will spend the time to explain anything and do a good job rather than feeling like I just went through a "drive thru dentist." Everywhere I have recently tried made me feel like they wanted to upsell me with products/procedures but when I didn't buy them they wanted me out as fast as possible to get to the next customer. Dr. Sykes never made me feel this way! It's been some time since I went, but the last time I was there they had TVs in the ceilings so you can watch something while you are lying down which makes everything less uncomfortable and always helped me relax. I get the earliest appointment available which is 6:50am or 7am , they text me reminders of my upcoming appointment. In these text messages they send me a link to fill out any paperwork I may need for my visit that day. I am usually the first patient of the day so I dont have to wait long to be called back. The first time i went they took x-rays and pictures of my teeth. The hygienist there was very nice, polite and professional. I see her every time I go in so its nice to see the same friendly face. She does my cleaning and I dont feel any pain when she does this. Then I see the dentist and we go over my overall plan for my teeth. Let me tell yall, I had a wisdom tooth still attached to me and for the longest time I had refuse to take it out (for several reasons) but after speaking with the dentist about wanting to fix my teeth I realize that tooth would have to come out. I was scared, no lie, but the team made me feel at ease when we started that process. The financial department was very patient in answering all my questions and explaining to me what my insurance was and was not gonna cover. On the day of the actual extraction I go there early, they took me back, set me up with laughing gas and honestly that part took the longest. They numb my face and gave me the gas and then proceeded to take out my wisdom teeth and the whole that only took like 10 minutes and it came out in one whole piece!!! AND I GOT TO KEEP IT!!! I have also gotten clear aligners from them and that process has been good so far. When I visit I am usually the only patient there and is pretty quiet. When I do need to schedule an appointment with them its a pretty smooth process as well. I have notice they (in this suite) do not have a ADA entrance, its a small step up but even once you get inside they have a very narrow hallway. Even the bathroom is small but I guess that is the space they got to work in. Also, the Dentist noticed I was showing early signs of cavities and prescribe me this medical grade toothpaste for $30, most expensive toothpaste in my life. Overall I would recommend coming here to get your wisdom teeth remove in one piece.

This practice engages in high-pressure sales tactics and appears far more interested in profit than in patient care. I deeply regret not reading the reviews beforehand -- many others have had similar experiences, and I now understand why. Both my adult son and I were targeted with what I can only describe as scare tactics. Despite my son's clean bill of health from a reputable dentist just six months prior, he was told he had serious gum disease and urgently needed multiple expensive procedures -- including deep cleanings, laser treatments, and diagnostic tests -- none of which were previously deemed necessary. He left confused, alarmed, and out of pocket for one of the deep cleanings that they managed to convince him he needed. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I returned myself. The exact same playbook was used on me: dire warnings about the condition of my gums, an overwhelming list of treatments, and a price tag in the thousands even with insurance. I declined all upsells and requested a standard cleaning -- which was then performed carelessly and in haste. Several teeth were missed entirely during both the cleaning and polishing. It was clear that because I refused the costly add-ons, they no longer valued my time or care. I told the dentist that I was very disappointed and she said she would continue to work on me. I allowed her to work a few minutes longer but it was still evident I was not receiving even a moderately thorough cleaning. I have never in my life had a dental cleaning that was done so quickly and haphazardly. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional -- it's unethical. Patients deserve honest evaluations and transparent care, not manipulative sales strategies. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) and hope others do the same. Please protect your health and your wallet -- stay away from this practice.
