I would not recommend Darrin's Auto and Tire Service based on my family's experience. My sister paid around $900 for what they said would fix her vehicle. After the repair, they apparently never took the time to verify that the original problem was actually resolved before returning the car. When the same issue remained, instead of standing behind their diagnosis, they claimed the problem was on the opposite side and wanted to charge my mother and sister even more because the first diagnosis was wrong. A professional repair shop should confirm that a repair actually fixes the customer's complaint before calling the job complete. If a diagnosis turns out to be incorrect, the customer shouldn't be expected to pay for the shop's mistake. Everyone can make an honest mistake, but how a business handles those mistakes says a lot about its integrity. This experience left us feeling like profit was prioritized over accurate diagnostics and customer service. I hope others ask plenty of questions and request proof that the original issue has been verified before paying for repairs. read more

Decent people but poor service. Went in to get a radiator replacement. Really simple repair but for some reason they took everything under the hood apart to get to it without properly reinstalling bolts, hoses and plugs. 10 mins after pickup car was running hot and I saw the fan was not plugged in. Ended up having to put it back together myself despite paying over $600. Do yourself a favor and take it to the dealership. read more

Went to the dodge dealership here in bainbridge thinking they would know. They said I didn't need brake pads and my rotors where fine, so after a month, my wheels starting making noises. I came to darrins for a different view and seen the pads and rotors for myself. I'm glad I had them check cause my pads where gone and the rotors were warped almost beyond repair. Thanx for darrins actual work and expertise, I didn't have to spend more then needed. After 450 for new pads and rotors, I was good to go. I asked the dodge place for a price and was quoted almost $800. This is my new spot for my wife's car. Great prices and better experience. read more

The owner MR DARRIN is racist . He charged me $55 for a diagnostic and $45 to tighten my Hubcaps. He see FEMALES as a way to make money. He told me he couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car after I brung my car back to his shop because the diagnostic he gave me was TOTALLY wrong. Then I questioned him on the $45 to tighten a hubcap which is ridiculous and he said "well I don't know what to tell you but I can give you that money back and we're even". Filing a complaint with the attorney general office and the BBB. He's nasty and rude. Mr Willie is great people and he did all that he could but I will not be returning again and I hope no one else does either. read more

My wife and daughter had a flat just south of Bainbridge and went to Darrin's to see if the tire could be patched or plugged. Their tire was patched, twice they said, and they were back on the road quickly. Happy they lucked out and found Darrin's on a Saturday morning. read more

We had a blowout on the side of the road and no way to fix it, so we called Darrin's Auto & Tire Service and they came exactly when they said they would. They picked up our driver and towed the car to the shop, where they replaced the tire in a timely manner and had the driver back on the road in no time! My family was passing through from vacation when we had car issues. we panicked, 2 small children and a dog with us. Darrin was an amazing help. He picked us up and towed the car, he was able to explain and fix the issue right away. And we got on our way. The situation could've been really bad. We got lucky and Darrin was the reason. This place is a joke! First I got ripped off big time to get my tires mounted and balanced on my s10,and I got the tires balanced only on my sport trac, they charged me 185$! I got charged this just cause there was no wait and he knew everyone else was booked! But what really made me mad is I set up to get my s10 alignment done after installing my new tires. I told the alignment guy Willie that my truck had a serious pull to the right and steering wheel was off center,and he acknowledged these symptoms after he test drive my vehicle.so after about an hour of waiting to get my truck back thinking everything was going to be good again,he finished up and took it for a test drive.he came back after a short slow drive and looked me in the eyes and said it's good to go and drives like a dream! I paid and left and needless to say it's was still not center and still pulling hard to the right! All he did was set the tow never touched the casters or cambers! I came back to address the problem Willie and the owner darrin tried to tell me it was aligned that I had serious play in my steering and needed a new steering box,and my wheels had adapters that wasn't centering my tires! I called bullshit and told them I got a grade A professional alignment guy named Don Sirmons alignment and brake inc. in Quincy fl, that if he gets it right I want my money back! Needless to say Don Sirmons got it right the first time and tightened my play in my steering and adjusted my casters and now my s10 drives like a brand new truck!! This guy is amazing I recommend everyone to go to this guy,he will treat you like family! Darrins on the other hand did not give me my money back! I will tell everyone to not go here! read more

I went to the local dealership to see why my brakes were making noise. They told me I needed from calipers and pads. The cost would be $265.00. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and took my truck Darrin's. They put the truck on the lift, and after inspecting the brakes sprayed some brake cleaning fluid on the calipers to remove the dust. We test drove the truck and the problem was solved. They said I would not need calipers or brakes for another 15,000 miles. And, to top it off they did not charge me a dime! This is how a neighborhood business should be run. Honest, friendly, professional, did I say honest? I'll bring all my vehicles to this shop with confidence and will be more than happy to recommend them to anyone. read more
