The painter blamed the color black (Tricorn Black from Sherwin). I've used this color for years. My old office was also painted that color...nobody else had issues with it. Then she blamed the ceiling and the walls in the suite. From beginning to end she complained about the job and showed crappy workmanship. The county pushed back on the size of garage and in order to get what we wanted accomplished, we had to make it attached - these guys were great in quickly modifiying the plans and getting the project going. They were timely and professional. They were great with our dog who thought she was a site supervisor. From the concrete, to the build, the roofing & siding, as well as the electric which we chnaged our minds about a few time, they never missed a beat and got everything done we wanted and cleaned up well after themselves - would use them again for any home projects we might come up with!

There were several very visible seams and the carpet constantly came up on corners. I had asked for medium grade carpet and got the worst quality carpet available and was charged a premium price. Probably wouldn't use them again if the situation arises. Not to mention it took them nearly a month to actually cash the check I paid them with. At the end of the day they were semi reasonably priced but the quality of work was sub par.

We contacted them at 8:00 in the…read moremorning and asked if they gave free estimates, and specified that we did not want any work done till we had a quote and confirmed. They arrived with in 30 minutes of the quoted time. After looking at the situations, we asked for a quote for just tree cutting (cutting the fallen tree to manageable sections) and one quote for complete removal. The complete removal was quoted to be $1400. I said that it sounded great and asked him to please send me a written quote to ensure that the price and work expectations will be the same. He said okay, and asked me to text the email to him. Within roughly less than 3 hours, and 4 exchanges... he finally sent me a written quote of $2100. When inquired if it was an error, he texted back and said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make a decision" 10:20 I texted my email to him as requested at the end of meeting 11:50 He texted me and that he sent the quote. He only sent for cut only, not for cut and haul. So I immediately asked for a full clearing quote. 1:09 I get the quote for full clear and asked if it was an error - much more than discussed 1:19 he said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make the decisions." A company that literally jacked up your price because you were shopping for a quote - is not trustworthy to perform work without written quote.. Would not recommend work without written quote for buyer protection. We did not have them waiting for an unreasonable amount of time by any stretch of the imagination - most of it was waiting for them to send me written quotes. Pictures just to give you the idea of how interested I was and really wanted a written estimate.

We scheduled the work based on that agreement -- only for them to come back later demanding a higher price ($400 more) and insisting they also take the cut wood that we very clearly said we wanted to keep. They used to excuse for wanting to take the wood as there reason to not complete the job. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, communication completely fell apart after that. They stopped responding, never followed through on the revised plans, and ultimately wasted our time. We rearranged our schedules for their availability, only to be left hanging with no explanation. Professionalism, reliability, and honest pricing matter -- and unfortunately, this company fell short on all three. I would not recommend them based on our experience.

I got Mr. Watters name from my son in law, and we called at 10:30 and they were here at 12:30. First they corrected the drain issue and then replaced the pipe, all in less than an hour. It was a father and son, both were friendly, and I thought extremely reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone with a problem. Moreover, I asked about a hot water heater since I have no clue how old it is, and was told we did not need one yet. Thank you, guys!

If I could give 0 stars for this company, I would. They installed a sump pump and "vapor barrier" in our crawl space in 2017. Which apparently to them meant throw 12 sheets on black plastic down and install a black bucket with a knife slit in it, then run the evacuation pipe 14 inches from the side of my house so it directs water so it directly seeps into my basement walls. We now have significant water damage, and mold caused by less than sub-par work from Dart. After having multiple plumbers, and restoration experts to our home to examine Darts work every one of them has said they've never seen such a "lazy installation". Dart didn't install any drainage tiles, and they didn't seal the plastic sheets. We called Dart to give them the opportunity to fix the situation however the owner, Tim Buck is a less than pleasant character to deal with. He doesn't seem to understand the purpose a vapor barrier and sump pump serve. Tim came to our home one day and came to the door and told me that he will have to reschedule because his "younger guys truck broke down." He then asked to see the damage in my basement so I showed him and his response was to tell me how much the other company was charging me to dry out my basement. He also told me that for an EXTRA $1000 on top of what he initially quoted for the job he could have done it right and routed the sump pump so it didn't drain into my basement walls LOL. My fiancé and I took a day off work to have Tim come out again with his guy to see the lack of work, and after an hour of him being a no-show we finally called him so he could tell us he "was with a customer 2 hours away." His company caused thousands of dollars of damage to my home, and he can't even show up to make it right. Good thing we've documented everything well, and have gotten several statements from other professionals regarding the work performed by Dart. We will be taking alternative action since Dart didn't want to resolve the issue themselves. read more

Extremely disappointed with our experience with Dart Properties. From start to finish, the process was frustrating and unprofessional. The quality of their work--especially the drywall craftsmanship--was shockingly poor. Uneven finishes, visible seams, and sloppy patches made our home feel unfinished and rushed. What made matters worse was the complete lack of customer service. We gave them multiple chances to make things right, but there was no accountability, no follow-up, no resolution. We expected professionalism and pride in their work, but Dart Properties delivered neither. Would not recommend them to anyone looking for quality work or reliable service. read more

This company is not run by an honest person. Things were not done according to the contract. The owner didn't care to resolve anything with us and the employees he has working for them are not professional. There isn't an option for zero stars or that would be my vote. read more
