I can't understand how anyone can complain about this store or the employees? I've been in there dozens of times and they have always been very helpful, and there parts are top quality! No Chinese crap! They even help you with a check engine light or a broken taillight. Advance Auto and Auto Zone will not do your tail lights if you ask them. I called them. What more can you ask for? The prices have gone up in every auto parts stores! The best thing is, your still getting top quality parts that are made in the US or Canada! read more

I'm not one of those shade tree mechanics so my visits here a few and far between. Most recently, I was out for lunch with my daughter on one of those rainy spring days and I see the passenger (me) windshield wiper is in pieces, so badly torn that I can't see though the windshield. On the way home I tell her to go to DAS and we get a new wiper and I replace it and off we go, seeing everything! BTW, if you're not as handy as I am, they will do the replacement for you. I went to their place in Mahopac, ny. John's the best and I'm proud that he is a friend of ours. Everything was ordered and came in quickly and installed 2 days later. They did a fabulous job with my new bronco. Got a magnaflow duel exhaust system in black installed, tow hook conversion kit and put on my shackles for me and my valkryie license plate mount on my bumper Beautiful installations, sounds fantastic. Entering the store I was mesmerized by the sheer amount of automotive-related products that had. From lighting to wheels to suspension to tools, and my absolute favorite part, the detailing supplies. Being a car guy with an automotive detailing business I love seeing the wall of detailing supplies. From Adams Polishes, and Chemical Guys to smaller brands like The Last Coat they had it all. The detailing supplies and automotive parts allows me to make my vehicle stand out and look amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable staff and extremely helpful. I came in needing an inverter/adaptor but not really knowing the possibilities of what I could get. While in the store, the employees (without any masks worn in sight) were very loudly talking about 'idiots' who wear masks and ridiculing state wide precautions for COVID prevention, and making it super uncomfortable. Though they had a plethora of masks and gloves for a sale... so apparently they have no problem making money off of a pandemic.... Regardless of your political beliefs, respect your present customers and the 30,000+ people that have died. I put my 100$ + of products back and will be giving my money to a company that is less callous and disrespectful. read more

This store is great and the guys are so helpful! I went there today to get a new head light. When I attempted to put it in myself I struggled. I brought it back and hour later and Paul came out to help me put it in! He was so nice and very knowledgeable about what he was doing. This place and these guys are the best! So helpful and they carry anything and everything you may need. I needed a battery ASAP. Drove to DAS after I got a jump, parked out front left the car running, ran in and told them I needed a battery, they came out with the battery, installed it right then and there. I am all about supporting local business, but.......this place needs to work on their customer service. There is one particular employee, I think I heard someone called him "John," who had a very snippy tone with customers and a puss on his face; not friendly or welcoming at all. They should really think about customer service, when hiring new employees. read more
