His work is reliable, timely and inexpensive, and best of all, thoroughly professional and great looking. I appreciate the color copy prices that are lower than any I have found in town, and the reliable email communication. My print jobs have always been on-time, and perfectly printed. Color copies at a more famous place down the street are almost twice as expensive. Foxx Printers is a fine local business charging a fair price for top-notch work. Highly recommended.

So here is a more general review that conveys my experience. I had just moved to Austin, I needed computer repair during Memorial day weekend and Tony was the only business that was willing to come out. The service was really bad, and Tony less than honest, this individual took a payment from me but declined to perform the computer repair service we agreed to. He also stated that he preferred cash so as to not report it. The 2 times he actually did the work, it was not well done, the problems were still present in the laptop. The 3rd time he insisted on another payment for another series of repairs pre paid and disappeared. He asks for $100 for 3 repair sessions. I paid $200 and only got 2. He also does not have an office and his appearance was less than professional, very dishevelled, his clothes were'nt very clean and neither was he. When I asked for my money back or the repairs,I had to leave him a multitude of messages, he became aggressive and belligerent and insulted me and was hostile. Stated that he was not going to do the work because I was less than pleasant. Telling him that the computer was still not working apparently was less than pleasant. I asked him to please meet me to finish the work, he said only if I pre-paid for another series of 3 repairs and I reluctantly agreed as I needed my laptop fixed. He disappeared. So I lost $100 in these transactions. I wrote it off, at least I don't have to see him again or deal with him again. The 2 times he met me, he complained the whole time about his finances, his problems, personal problems, family problems. I just wanted my laptop repaired, instead I got an earful by a person who seemed depressed and troubled. Beware, this business is not honest and will likely not do the work agreed upon and will try to get paid, with me he insisted aggressively and then disappear. The very worst that I have seen in local businesses. I was not impressed.

He has always been honest, efficient, and reliable in all my dealings with him. My first experience involved my home computer that had what I thought was a seized hard drive (February 2010). After diagnosis, I purchased a power supply and hard drive from a local discount electronics supply store. My Austin Computer Guy confirmed my diagnosis and rebuilt my computer with the parts I purchased and restored my computer to better than it was before and all for a reasonable hourly price. In May 2015, my Microsoft Outlook settings mistakenly were erased. I was unable to get things restored to normal operation. My Austin Computer Guy restored the Outlook settings on both my Home computer and work laptop. Additionally, he installed new shareware virus protection on both. Once again, it was a reasonable hourly price for his services. Two weeks later, May 2015, a lightning strike took out my computer and associated equipment. My Austin Computer Guy diagnosed a bad power supply and bad motherboard. I expressed to him that I didn't want a new computer, I wanted my computer. He recommended that he could drop my hard drive, memory, and light scribe DVD writer into a new box for $200. My new computer was returned in a timely fashion and runs just like it was my old computer, except much better! He listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. I trust My Austin Computer Guy to diagnose my computer problems, provide timely and effective service, listen to my needs, and continually do so for a reasonable hourly price. I recently picked up a True T-72F for my residential garage relatively inexpensive. After getting…read moreit home, I noticed it wasn't working properly.. seller told me as much. Searched the True Manufacturing Company website and found Bennie's Commercial Refrigeration among other companies that were listed. Emailed his company and a few others. Bennie was the only one willing to come out to a residential location with a commercial freezer. Bennie called me directly and discussed a few details before scheduling a day for him to come out and diagnose the freezer onsite (my residential garage). He came out, ensured proper COVID-19 precautions were taken and he got to work inspecting the entire unit for any issues. He found approximately $1025 worth of repairs (majority in parts). He explained what he found and what could be done to minimize the cost of the commercial freezer if I didnt want to pay for everything in one repair. I went ahead and approved the estimate (he sent me the written estimate via email a few hours after he left my residence) and paid the invoice per his terms. A few parts had to be special ordered in and we setup a return visit for approximately two weeks later (conflicting work schedule). He returned today (Monday, June 15, 2020) at 9:47 AM and replaced everything that was ordered in and previously discussed. After 3 & 1/2 hours of replacing all of the worn out parts, testing and checking the freezer, he found out that the fan defrost termination and delay switch was preventing the freezer fans (the new fan motors were installed) from spinning up at all. A quick trip to the parts store and a new $40 dollar switch installed made the freezer boot up and cycle properly for the first time. Bennie ended up staying until 3:10 PM to ensure that everything was working properly and explaining what the next steps are. Bennie was through with the repairs, reassembly, testing, validating and explaining what issues cropped up. I couldn't have asked for a more honest tech. I will be calling him in the future for maintenance calls and any additional repairs that may come up and recommend him in the future to anyone who needs commercial refrigeration or freezer repairs or maintenance either at their business or residences. To anyone who reads this, if you are unsure about anything, just call Bennie up, describe the issue and he will give the answers that he can. If he has never seen your equipment first, then his answers will be limited until he sees exactly what is going on.

About 11:00 AM, I spoke to a man at Jenn's over the phone and was quoted a price for copying and binding a report. I emailed the document and was told it would be ready by 1:00. When I arrived about 1:20, the employees (not the employee on the phone earlier) did not have the order ready or in process, though they did find my email. As they started the order, I asked about the pricing because I was already concerned about the order not even being in queue. I was told the total would be a price about 50% higher than what was quoted on the phone. At this point, I objected, stating exactly what I was quoted on the phone earlier. Things turned way south. I was rudely told they did not offer services at that price, that I had NOT been quoted the service at that price and I would not be receiving 'a discount'. It was in no uncertain terms implied that I was lying and trying to cheat the employees out of their services. As I was in a serious hurry to get my reports turned in and had been expecting a finished product when I walked in the door, I paid (again, almost 50% more than quoted). The reports were bound correctly and quickly, and I wish the customer service would match the quality of product they produced.
