This guy is very shady. I am not tech savy but pretty good at research to keep track of him. He said his name was John Roman but found his real name is John Santos. As you read, my experience with John Santos is below. Below in this ad you will see he has a manager, Sheryl, introduces himself as Anthony. This is new to his post. When I search the two phone numbers I have for him, 916 954 2197 which is what he gave me for, comes up as Anthony Bravo; the other number I have, 916 359 9804, comes up as Anthony Bravo, with all kinds of pictures of homes, yards, etc. with the same note underneath the pictures: Thank you Anthony Bravo; if you go to the 7th picture, click on it you will be able to read the customer letter where the people refer to Anton, they are thanking him, with Anton's phone #, area code 534 in Wisconsin, ARE ALL JOHN'S PICS FAKE? The email address he used to correspond with me is jhc@junkhaulingsolutions.com now unverifiable for Home Repair Solutions, I have emails/text mess from 916 954 2197 # saved with this email & correspondence. I printed all adds w/different company names/info attached to both phone numbers. In his many CL ads with different business names (Junk Hauling Solutions, Home Repair Solutions-also on Home Advisor, Home Repair Solutions LLC, Fix it Fast Pros, Fix it fast pros handyman, Trusted Handyman Pros, Hero Handyman) he advertised in the license info for a handyman license with no #, now states "subcontractor" with no license # for Hero Handyman. I have now searched every business/personal name on California's contractor's board, found no license, spoke to a man at the contractor's board, he could not find John Santos or John Ramos. There is one place you can find John Santos, on the BBB; google JHS Repairs, has 2 complaints. Here is my original complaint describing my encounter with John Santos aka Anthony Bravo at this moment: "I am a disabled female senior & Mr. John Santos, who wrote in an email stated his name is John Roman, (I found him on Craigslist), also advertised in his ad he carried a handyman license thru CA & said he would bring it when he came to my house, I got distracted, never got it & when I requested via email, after work was done, he said he did not have to give it to me because the job was less than $1,000, handymen do not get licensed per state. He goes by (NEW FOR THIS REVIEW...HE HAS GONE BY SEVERAL NAMES) three business names: Junk Hauling Solutions and Home Repair Solutions and Home Repair Solutions, LLC Not only did he do a horrible job he stole $150.00, refusing to refund me this money from overcharging me for paint. He asked for $200 for 5 gallons of paint, returned with 1 gallon & didn't use the whole gallon. He installed the security lights wrong, he did not install the protective sheet between the t1-11 & the insulation. (I AM ADDING THIS DURING MY NEW REVIEW...THE T1-11 DOES NOT MATCH HOMES ORIGINAL T1-11, SO OBVIOUS I CAN SEE IT FROM THE STREET, CALKING WAS TO BE APPLIED AROUND ALL MY WINDOWS, WASN'T DONE) This job was so easy, John Santos was so lazy he was having someone else do the job while he stood there. John Santos is a predator, looking for single females, I realized this later after he asked questions if I had a partner. The first thing he wanted to do when he arrived was use my bathroom, I said no but he did not drive to the fast food restaurant down the road. I don't let people I don't know in my house. I am now working on letting people know. I HOPE YOU HEED MY WARNING WHENEVER YOU HAVE TO HIRE PEOPLE WHO ARE SELF EMPLOYED. NOT ALL PEOPLE ARE BAD BUT THEY ARE OUT THERE. The receptionist / scheduler was super sweet and had me take pics of the water heater so she could forward them to Chris, the technician. Got the time window: 4-7 pm. He was here by 5:30 and within an hour had my pilot light back on and the parts replaced without having to drop 2K on a new unit, install, and haul away. He was quick, to the point, and fairly priced. We are having him return to put in a sensor that will prevent a huge catastrophic leak once this heater goes bite the dust. While…read moretheir prices seemed reasonable initially, the added charges for cleanup and diagnosis post treatment of the line upset me. I had a blockage in my line. They were called by my management company emergently. They came out, cabled the line for 3 hours, decided a jetter was necessary, and left a mess. They recommended I pay them $400-500 to clean up the sewage. They also recommended I pay an additional fee to camera the line, post fix, to diagnose the problem. I did not take them up on these offers. 2 months later I had another backup in the plumbing. I paid another plumbing company to jetter the line. Cam of the line was included in the treatment. It was much more economic. It has been 9 months since they treated the problem. No issues. I asked 3 companies about cleanup services while getting estimates the second time around. I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. All of the companies were in disbelief that I was charged for cleanup of removing a blockage. For the record, the mess was made during the service. It was not there beforehand. I appreciated the punctuality of Taylor. The technicians were nice on the phone. I was thankful they came out emergently. It was a positive experience until they gave me the bill with recommended upcharges at the end.
