They took the time to answer all of our questions, explain our options, and guide us every step of the way. Not only was their customer service exceptional, but they also beat their competitors' pricing and saved us nearly $2,000 without sacrificing quality. During the installation, they were respectful of our home, worked safely around our family, and made us feel completely comfortable having them in our house. Your home is one of your most important investments, and finding people you can trust to help keep it safe is invaluable. Water Heater Pros exceeded our expectations in every way. They replaced our water heater efficiently, left everything clean, and continued to provide excellent customer service even after the job was complete. As an educator and someone who is actively involved in my community, I truly value honesty, integrity, and businesses that put people first. Water Heater Pros genuinely cares about their customers from the first phone call through the installation--and beyond. We will absolutely be calling them again for any future plumbing or water heater needs. I wholeheartedly recommend Water Heater Pros to anyone looking for outstanding service, fair pricing, and a company that truly stands behind its work!

I think I always leave positive reviews and gave Ty ample opportunity to correct his errors. I even suggested he sleep on it so he/we could come to a reasonable solution. I originally contracted with him to replace a failing tank-less water heater. He was quick, on-time and provided us with a reasonable quote. His install went ok and after a spray of water into the inside of the heater from what he called a faulty previous install, he dried everything and finished up. At one point I noticed that the exhaust vent was hanging at an angle and asked him if he needed to go in the attic to connect the pipe. He assured me he did not and that everything would be hooked up properly. I was relieved because we had just had insulation blown in and I did not want anybody back in the attic to flatten the insulation loft. Within a couple of months I began to experience errors with the heater requiring a hard reset. At first he told me to call the manufacturer and that problems like that were my responsibility. I was relieved when he visited and found insulation had dropped into the unit. He claimed that it was an improper seal of the exhaust flange in the ceiling, blaming the previous installer and suggested I fix it. I did. When it happened again he graciously came and cleaned more insulation out of the heater blower. All seemed well. Fast forward to recently when I had someone inspect the attic without going in the attic. He provided me with a photo of the disconnected exhaust vent from the water heater and suggested I call the person who installed the unit as it could be letting CO blow into our attic. When I called Ty he, again, blamed the previous installer of the preexisting vent. I suggested it was his responsibility to ensure all was hooked up properly and safe. He did not agree. After much back-and-forth, I suggested we sleep on it. Next day was no different. I talked him into sending one of his "installers" to fix it but it would cost me $200. The (really nice) young man came the next day and corrected the problem (for $200) and showed me a finished photo. Three different contractors I spoke with assured me it was the installers (Water Heater Guyz) responsibility to properly hook up the vent. The money doesn't bother me. Ty's inability to accept responsibility(or blame) and just fix it is where we part ways. At every point he tried to blame everyone but himself. Business owners should be willing to bend over backwards to make sure everything is done correctly The install was not done correctly even after I asked him about the vent and the disconnected vent was, most likely responsible for some of the insulation getting into the unit. I will not be calling him for any further work and will pay someone else if I need any more service. I like him and hope he does well but attitudes like this will eventually catch up with a business.

This is the rare instance where the star-rating depends on my viewpoint…read more First, I want to acknowledge that Ace Plumbing was one of the few companies that I contacted that was willing to take on the job. I had a landscape pipe that was no longer draining our water feature. Most companies will not touch landscape piping because the pipe that is often used may be easily damaged by a power-driven drain auger. Second, the customer service representative that I reached by telephone was both courteous and professional. She scheduled a same-day appointment with a 2-hour window and she told me the plumber would contact me when he was on the way--which he did. Josh arrived with an assistant. When I explained the problem and showed him the two blocked water feature drains, he told me that assuming he could open the drain the cost would be $300. And that is all he told me. I agreed to the price even though it seemed high. I had already rented an electric augur from Home Depot and I had failed to clear the pipe so I didn't have many options. Josh got right to work. Between his electric drain augur and a high-pressure water-powered drain cleaner, Josh succeeded in opening the main landscape line--sort of. But he was unable to clear the water feature pipes. However, by using pressurized water, he discovered what appeared to be a broken line as the water bubbled up under a hydrangea. So the repair of the pipe was on me. What about the other water feature drain? Josh could not clear that pipe or determine if there was a leak. He admitted that he did not know what the problem was partly because he did not know (and neither did I) how the drain system had been laid out. Josh offered me a 10% discount for failing to clear the one pipe. However, shortly after Josh left, I noticed that when I put a hose in the main landscape line, the water backed up. The line had not been fully cleared. I immediately called the office in the hope of contacting Josh before he got too far down the road. Again, the office person was extremely professional. She put me on a brief hold and came back on the line to tell me that Josh would be calling me soon. In less than a minute, my phone was ringing. Josh insisted that the main line had been cleared, but that I could not really expect the water to run out as quickly as it might have done when the pipe was first installed. And here is where ACE Plumbing drops two stars. Josh *then* informed me that ACE Plumbing does not guarantee any work done on drain lines. He did not inform me of this fact before the job, but only after I called to express my concern. He told me he could return the next day to again work on the line, but that he would have to charge me. I was not inclined to add to an almost $300 price tag for work that ACE Plumbing would not stand behind. Nevertheless, Josh had showed me how it was done. So I purchased the Drain King and cleared the main line myself. I dug up the broken pipe only to find that the pipe was not broken. The pipe terminated in the dirt rather than in a French drain. I dug up the other pipe and discovered the same problem. So despite the cost and the after-the-fact claim that ACE Plumbing does not guarantee any work done on a drain pipe, I have added back a star because Josh did show me the way to resolve the problem even if he never intended to do so.

I have been holding off on this review for a while because I was waiting to see just how in the…read morehole I was going to be for using these services, but I am about at the point where I'm not even entirely sure these guys aren't just a scam. I had a new HVAC installed in 2024 when my old one finally broke. Of course, this happened in the middle of a Sacramento heatwave. Of course, they had me over a barrel and I needed something fixed immediately. To their credit, they did order the unit and install it extremely quickly. It also broke down an hour later. I chalked that up to just accidental installation issues. The guys came back, made some adjustments and the unit worked fine... For about another 6 months and then the thermostat broke down. So, with my 10 year warranty they came back to fix the wires in the thermostat. And then the Thermostat broke again and we had it replaced with a different model. And then the unit broke down in the winter another time and had to be patched. And today I woke up and even with the thermostat turned entirely off the unit was just blowing hot air out at maximum strength until we finally just climbed up and unplugged the whole thing in the attic. Every time we need something fixed it takes 5-7 days to get someone out to fix it. That's 5-7 days without air conditioning in a Sacramento summer or without heat in some of the coldest months we have. Can we survive? Sure. Is that what I paid over $15,000 for? Absolutely not. At this point I am fairly certain I was sold faulty equipment. In trying to just get someone out urgently to unplug the whole unit in the attic so we weren't just living with heat on full blast in the house for the next 5 days, I talked to one human being who tried very hard to be helpful, and one AI script logger they have set up as a customer service rep. That's right. They're literally using AI to communicate with clients, take messages, send texts, and relay inaccurate information. At one point the AI sent me a text to say someone was coming over in the evening to unplug the unit. 10 minutes before 5pm an actual person called to leave a message saying no technician was actually coming. Frankly, I've had it with this nonsense. I paid a not insubstantial amount of money for a heating and air system in my home and I expect that it will not break multiple times a year.

A corrupt group of law enforcement officers changed my HVAC refrigerant to a deadly substance. I…read morecalled Jazz Heating & Air Conditioning for help removing it. They worked with this law enforcement group to do the following after I complained of having breathing problems: 1. The man who scheduled my appointment over the phone took a call from law enforcement and, in the work order for the HVAC technician, falsely marked me as "mentally ill" - even though I am perfectly fine. This was done to discredit the serious danger my family was in. Jazz helped create this false report, ensuring my family's safety concerns would be dismissed, all orchestrated by the same group who put us in harm's way. 2. When the HVAC technician arrived (Azlan), I showed him a refrigerant airflow piston that was sitting outside my HVAC unit after a break-in. At this time, he did not tell me it was related to my HVAC refrigerant. I was experiencing breathing issues and needed to know if something had been changed or tampered with. Azlan was polite and advised me to do a reverse Google image search, which led me to discover that the part I found was connected to my HVAC system. 3. I called them again to request refrigerant removal, specifically asking for the same technician I trusted. They denied having him come back and assigned someone else. I had to wait three days while suffering from breathing problems. On the day of the appointment, it was canceled, with the excuse that they no longer serviced my area. Then they outright refused to remove the refrigerant, instead suggesting they check for condensation issues - completely unrelated to my serious health concerns. They rescheduled my appointment from a morning to late in the evening, finally arriving at nearly 5 pm. When the technician arrived (Manuel Renteria), I showed him the refrigerant airflow piston that I found by my HVAC and the evidence of the break-in. He claimed it probably it just fell out from the plastic packaging and it was an extra part to my HVAC (even thought it didnt' go with my HVAC unit's refrigerant). He took the plastic part that had my HVAC model number (which I needed) and put it in his pocket. He also took the refrigerant airflow component that was evidence of a crime. After evaluating my home, I decided I needed the refrigerant removed because I was experiencing life-threatening breathing issues. The technician, Manuel said he could do but it would cost $1,400. I thought this price was initially strange. It made me feel like they were trying to entrap me in a situation with life-threatening refrigerant by giving me a high price. This is exactly what corrupt law enforcement officers do, they try to make the price unaffordable to leave someone in harm's way. This price made me hesitate, especially since my elderly mother, on a fixed income, was paying for it. It felt orchestrated to intentionally make me refuse the removal, leaving me in a hazardous environment. I decided to proceed and charged the $1,400 to my credit card. Today, I discovered that the average cost for refrigerant removal is only $150-$200, not $1400. This is clear price gouging, and it strongly suggests organized criminal activity - law enforcement coordinating with the company beforehand to determine the price, setting a trap to prevent me from removing the harmful refrigerant. Removing the refrigerant ultimately saved my life. The technician, Manuel Renteria, had the evidence of the break-in and the plastic part with my HVAC model number. He took both, pocketed them, and I after I made the payment, I asked him to leave my them at my home. I found it suspicious that he believed the evidence belonged to him or that he should be taking evidence of a crime away. Despite my request to leave my items in my home, he still took the evidence with him. I had thought Jazz Heating & Air was an ethical, non-discriminatory company that treated homeowners with honesty and integrity. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I want to make it clear that Jazz Heating & Air Conditioning must reimburse my family for the exorbitant $1,400 charge for refrigerant removal, which is grossly inflated and indicative of price gouging. This deliberate overcharging was designed to influence us to refuse the removal, leaving us in a dangerous environment. Such practices are not only unethical but clearly organized crime, an orchestrated effort to exploit homeowners, involve law enforcement in criminal collusion and generate extremely high charges for victims of a federal crime. These actions violate ethical standards, HVAC safety guidelines and a fundamental duty to protect public and homeowner's safety. I will be filing complaints against this company, if they do not rectify this situation, including taking legal action. Amy Dhillon
