When you think of a convenience store, you typically think of someplace where they have employees who are just passing the time, and good service is a rarity. This Dash In is the example of how things should be. I have never walked in the door without being greeted by at least one employee, the store and the parking lot is always clean, and the service is excellent. The location is a bit of a pain to get into. You have to make a U turn if traveling south on 301, and if traveling north or making that turn, you have to watch for cars merging onto 301 from Smallwood, as you try to turn into the store. It is worth the trouble, The owners of this store are often working there, and they are totally into customer service. It is rare to rate a convenience store, but this one deserves more stars than Yelp allows.

Instead of being professional and giving me my money back they argued with me saying that the original repair had nothing to do with the EGR problem. But they continued to try and fix a problem that "wasn't" their fault for a week. Please don't go here and make sure and check your check engine light codes.

This is my third time at this gas station due to my route. On my previous visits, there were no customers. I find that highly peculiar for a gas station on a major highway to have no business. When I tried to enter the store, the door was locked. There was a sign posted stating to use the window. I did not purchase any items and took my business to another store. It is an inconvenience and frustrating that a gas station convenience store does not allow customers into their store. I do not feel comfortable for someone else to touch my food products and shove them through a window. This is unsanitary. During the early evening hours no convenience store should be closed. This is rude to disrespect customers in this fashion. At this point I encourage family, friends and others not to use Shell gas because I cannot ensure their safety at this location. But it left us feeling uneasy, the thought of someone taking something from you even if it was just a small amount. If he would have asked for a tip, it would have been okay. Looking back at a previous review, I noticed someone else mentioned a similar experience. To avoid confusion, I recommend that when paying in cash here it helps to state the bill amount you're handing over so there's no misunderstanding.
