It was 77° and sunny on a Friday -- the first nice day we've had in over a month -- and this place decided to completely shut down for lunch with cars wrapped around the building. I've never seen a car wash just stop operations in the middle of peak business hours like that. I understand employees need breaks, but there seemed to be zero concern for the long line of customers sitting there waiting while the staff casually walked around like nobody was being inconvenienced. I got an exterior wax service and and was given a placard with $70 marked and that what I payed for! The cleaners did a poor job with the cleaning and waxing overall so I brought that the the attention of Rueben and told him that my front and back windows need to be rewashed because I pay a very overpriced amount of $70 in the first place! Rueben asked me "who charged you the $70" and I replied the cashier. He said we will clean your windows over but first you need to pay the difference because the you were supposed to be charged $80 instead of $70! What he should have did was had the cleaners to rewash the windows and then tell me that I was mistakenly undercharged but that would be on the business and not me! Run away from this place! If you have yet to do a once over prior to distressing your paint, then you won't notice the fine additional scratches! I get outside and I ask where is Frederick that was the name given they said he is gone for the day and it was no manager after I was just told he was outside. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! An employee at Mr. Clean Car Wash was driving my car out of the car wash and put his foot on the gas instead of the brake and wrecked my car. He got out of the car and ran. The police were called. The owner and / or operator refuses to give me his insurance information. He jerked our chain for about a week, never heard from him. Bad move. If its not on the services...you dont get it. So what they did, the basic car wash has been split up over several services. Quality and service here has become horrible!!! Took my truck here last week. Got the VIP wash ($30). When my truck was "completed" I walked out to find that all of my floor mats were just tossed in with no rhyme or reason. My front two mats were clearly on the wrong side, my rear mat was thrown in upside down and jacked up. I then noticed water all over my leather interior from the floor mats being tossed in. Frustrated, I looked around for a manager and then noticed there was blue soap still streaming down the sides of my truck. Wanting to bring the poor quality of service to somebody's attention, I asked to speak to a manager. Ruben (manager) showed up. After expressing my frustration with the poor service, Ruben proceeded to tell me that it was the best they can do because they have females that don't know about floor mats, and they had to rush my truck since they were so busy ( there were 2 other cars there at the time). I kindly let Ruben know that neither hiring inexperienced staff or a high customer volume were my fault, and that customers should still expect a certain level of quality. He said "sorry, there's nothing else we can do" and then began to wipe off the steaming blue soap. I went inside to leave my information for the Owner to call me to which I was told he would call within the next two days. I have not received a call. I've been to this Car Wash several times in the past. Quality and Service have gone away (new management?). I won't be returning. read more

I went to get my vehicle detailed at Mr. Clean Car Wash I was the only vehicle there as it was at the close of business. I was going on a road trip to VA for Thanksgiving. When I arrived in VA I realized that my tote had been removed from my vehicle. I was so upset I didn't realize that my black leather jacket and a nearly brand new pair of grey UGGS had also been stolen. When I call the establishment I was told that they are not responsible for items left in your vehicle. I can't understand anybody stealing from anyone, but when things are left in plain view people will take them, however they took the liberty of removing these things out of my trunk. My trunk had nothing to do with then detailing my vehicle. I have written a letter to the following places: The Attorney General's Office, The BBB, and Consumer Affair. I am a senior citizen and have worked for everything that I've gotten. I was not happy with the service. I took my Honda CRV for the VIP clean 30.00 and was very disappointed. The vacuuming was was the most significant issue considering they missed the edges around the seats as well as the center console. The mud smear on the back seat and inner door was also skipped over. I was told they do not do the seats as their equipment might damage the leather and that I'd I wanted a better vacuum job then pay to get it detailed. Sorry, not buying that. A rag to wipe down the seats and a bit more care with the vacuum would have done the trick. But I guess there to busy to provide what I thought should have been a basic level of service for the highest level of car wash they offered. read more

I love this car wash. The service is great, the staff is nice, and there is a cool detailing shop next to it, thats if you want to add more bling to your shine. The line for this carwash moves pretty fast. There are two lines, one for a full service clean(interior and exterior) and one for just exterior. Once you decide what you want there is a big list of different wash options. I believe( don't quote me lol) from 10 bucks to 24. There is a detail buffing option for 50 bucks which is damn nice as well. The interior of the building is nice and open. Plenty of air freashners, snacks and cold drinks. Of course you get to see your lovely(car) go through the wash. One thing I'm not sure on is, if they use recycled filtered water or not. The easiest way to find out is during the summer. If there is a water restriction and they are open, then they recycle. If they are closed, they are fresh. I know somepeople prefer fresh... To have five different people working on a tiny MINI Cooper and still get in the car to dirt, sand and particles on the rugs, seats and console after spending $22 on what any other place would consider a basic wash is ridiculous. If u value your $, please trust this particular location (Waldorf) does not care for your satisfaction. Staff afraid to give name of manager on duty. Manager didn't even attempt to accommodate several of the customers relating the same issue. I was told by manager to pay more $45 if I wanted better services than the $28 I paid. Briefly the issue was the conveyor belt stopped mid wash for some reason leaving soap suds on several vehicles. We simply ask if the available external hose could be used to remove the remaining pink solution from the rear of our vehicles prior to staff drying off the vehicles. We were told for better services, we should pay more. I personally escorted management to my car to witness pink solution dripping & now drying on the car. Manager was too consumed eating his food & making rude remarks. My car looked worse outgoing than it did inbound! Not what I was expecting for $28 nor my reasonable request. Look for yourself in the pics included. Save your $ & time. Perhaps another location values customer service but not this one. If u own this business, please see for yourself how the management is ruining potential business, possible profits & more importantly, your name. WARNING DO NOT GO HERE! I've been to this car wash a few times & my last experience was horrible. Their machine damaged my car knocked off the back piece of mirror. My car was perfectly fine before going here. After paying I went outside & one lady that was wiping my car down look at me & pointed to my mirror, I then walked over to see my back piece from my mirror completely gone. I asked what happened because it was not like this before coming here, she told me hold on the walked away. Another young man came up to me with the pieces of mirror all broken up saying "it was the machine". I asked where is the manager & what do I do next because this is unacceptable & no one was giving me any type of answers. Of course everyone was looking confused & they barely speak English so the young man told me to come inside to see with the young lady at the register. I go on the inside told the young lady I needed to speak with manager, she told he wasn't there & to write my name & contact # down on a piece of paper. I asked her for his information (far as name & contact #) she stated he doesn't have a contact # with an attitude. So I asked her for his name & the # to the establishment which was given. I also asked when does he work "she stated I don't know, he just pops in whenever" with an attitude yet again. She was no help! Needless to say the manager "MOSES" never reached out to me it's been well over two weeks, I've been calling up there to reach him & I'm always told he's not here. I had to replace the back piece of mirror which cost me $80 that I came out my pocket with! Their establishment is bad business & I would never go there again.
