While visiting my daughter, my check oil light came on. I went to the Jiffy Lube on Crain Highway in Waldorf. The staff was very friendly and efficient! They changed my oil and my air filter, they rotated my tires and balance them, and they also vacuumed my floors! Wash the windows inside and out! Checked my blades! They filled my windshield washer reservoir! They did all of this while I waited in their customer waiting room, which was small but clean. It was an excellent value! Service was quick and efficient, and the cost was exactly what I expected for an oil change. The team checked my lights and air filter and asked about wiper blades and a tire rotation, which I appreciated. The downside was an employee being a bit too pushy about replacing my air filter and making me feel uncomfortable for declining. I didn't have any issues all staff were polite service quick and efficient just routine oil change and flush -I saw lots of good and negative comments before deciding to head over most recent comments positive ----low ratings about upselling services and other items but have to be subjective - it's no different than when I go to the dealership places they want to make money -but the few things I was shown were minor inexpensive and really did need to be done on vehicle which has over 100k and unlike the dealership -the car once returned was really clean on the inside vacuumed and clean windows so my experience was good read more

Excellent customer service. A true rarity these days. I was greeted in the parking lot; the technician welcomed me back and walked me inside to their counter. Very profession, for a minute I thought I was in the twilight zone... After a few minutes the sales lady made me aware of their findings with my car, got my permission to proceed and 15 minutes later, I was paying my invoice. If there was a space to create five more stars, I would select them. The Waldorf Jiffy Lube location has a caring and compassionate staff. The signature service comes with attention to detail and problem solving. My life was affected in ways I can't explain for what seemed a simple problem. I feel safer driving because the staff found areas of concern most would have ignored. I am truly thankful for the the work they did to keep me and my son safe on the road. This place has increasingly been coming up on their prices. Now I feel like it's a total rip off when I came there they explicitly told me how much the oil changes is going to be and of course she found out. My wipers were ripped on my brand new vehicle I reluctantly told her to replace the wipers not knowing that they would turn out to be $40 apiece. Also they added on a labor cost of $60 which I never ever paid, when having my oil change. Amongst other fees in taxes for an oil change and tire rotation and windshield wipers the prices $233 which is outlandish because my dealer I can get the same thing for much less. I will never go back to this place again or any Jiffy Lube. read more

I would recommend Jiffy Lube customers avoid this location. My experience on 12/26 was less than desirable. The greeter was extremely unfriendly and should not be greeting customers. The staff was not attentive and was secretly ooogling over some female in the lobby. The entire staff again needs customer service training and no one on the staff smiled. At checkout, the technician just pointed to the price on the computer and did not give me a run down of the services performed until I requested it. Avoid this location if you desire great customer service. I visited Spirit of America, and the team seem friendlier there. read more

The customer service here is awesome! I needed an oil change and after finding a coupon online and seeing that I didn't need a reservation, I came right in. As I was pulling up, a gentleman was motioning for me to come over. He asked me what brought me in and made me aware of their Signature Service Oil Change. Basically, they check and top off all your fluids, check essential systems and components, vacuum out your car aNd clean your outer windows on top of completIng the oil change. I think the service starts at 43.99 depending on the oil you get. After I dropped off my keys, I was escorted inside and the gentleman told me where the bathroom was, that I could help myself to coffee and that they provided free WiFi. Overall, the service was quick, pleasant and seamless. No complaints at all. They even have comfortable chairs inside. read more

There are some fishy things going on at this location. First I called to make sure they could change and alternator ( I should've known better) they said it was fine they do them all the time. I take it there they swap it out but the whole time I could feel like it was off the guy working on it just keeps coming back in the lobby whispering to the lady at the desk and I could tell something was up because I heard them say something like "you don't have the right alternator". I get the car back and a whole other light is on and he's like "oh that'll go off in a couple of hours" I wait a whole day it's still on I bring it back the next day and a new guy says yeah we can't fix that you need to take it too a dealership we shouldn't have even change it according to the readings from this tool they use. So it's just one suspect guy there who thinks he knows all but really knows nothing. I wouldn't trust them to change my oil. When I came back the same lady who was there yesterday was snickering when she saw me cause she already knew. All I'm saying is you'd be better off looking at a YouTube video than taking it here. The worst typing people are the dishonest ones at car shops. This happens months ago so you know how bad you have to mess up for someone to move to a different state and still want to get the word out this place doesn't know anything and are dishonest. read more

The gentleman who greeted me discussed all the possible work and the gentleman at the front desk was very funny and kind. Yesterday when I took my car to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, they told me that the oil pan screw was too tight. Said that removing and stripping the screw would result in a $500 oil pan replacement expense. I drove away and took it to my regular mechanic, who changed it without any issues and noted that the screw was not tight. What a scam. I warned my wife to be wary of sketchy mechanics, and now Jiffy Lube is trying to bilk me. read more

I went to this location for a break service and my first experience wasn't the best but the General Manager made it right. So I decided to give them another chance and go there because my breaks were squeaky. I was told that if I replaced my front brakes and rooter's then the problem will be fixed. I spent $500 and my brakes are still squeaky. I went to speak to the manager about my issue not being fixed just to be told that he doesn't hear any noises. Not bad. I always like jiffy lube service. You pay for the quickness and convenience of it. Every time I roll in, its like bambambam, got your tire pressures straightened out, windshield fluid, vacuumed your floors, blablabla.... and then it's that sticker on my left hand corner of my windshield, and I'm out. Download the mobile app, and get the $5 off the signature service oil change, I do it every time. Although this Jiffy Lube is antiquated or something...they always have to make a copy of the screen of your phone. Nice. read more

I was a little nervous at first about going here after reading a lot of negative comments about this place. However, I had a good experience. I took my car in to get an oil change and to have my tires rotated. Everyone there was nice, respectful, and provided great customer service. Robert did an excellent job going over how my car looked and what services I needed and didn't need. I feel like most of these commercial auto-shops try to give you a huge list of things you actually don't need to get done to your car and try to get over on you. However, I did not get that experience at all and Robert was very honest and transparent about what I really needed and what I didn't. I also was not there long and the staff was very fast and efficient. I will say I did go during the week and was told that it is better to go during the week compared to to going on a Saturday because they are super busy. read more

Due to Jiffy Lube not putting in the proper amount of oil in my 2014 Infiniti Q50 my engine was broken. I have less then 130K miles on my car. My car had the diagnostic test done on it by Infiniti and it wasn't time for my next oil change. Jiffy Lube isn't accepting fault for the damages and now trying to say that I have a leak. Which wasn't found by the dealer. Please don't take your car to Jiffy Lube unless you want to pay for the damages. A new engine on my sports car is 14K and of coarse only the dealer can install it. read more

This is my second time visiting this Jiffy Lube location in Waldorf, Md and they still fail in my book. I have 2 vehicles; an SUV and economy sedan. I bought my SUV to JL to have the oil changed only and as always they try to get more service out of you. I declined the additional service and the tech, a big white, got an attitude, hilarious right, true! I returned to this JL with my new economy car several months later to have the oil changed only, because my dealership appointments were all booked up, and the same thing happened, the big guy pointed out repair things on a new car and I declined, he got an attitude like a kid. I paid my bill and left, no more than a 2 days after my service at JL in Waldorf, Md, my new vehicle began running HOT! My vehicles antifreeze was purposely drained OUT of my new vehicle!! All because I declined the additional bogus service from JL!!! Needless to say, I returned and had them to replace the ANTIFREEZE and made a personal vowed to NEVER return to JL, I will make my appointment and wait at the dealership for my service needs. I've been using this location for about five years now. And I've had only minor issues. Friendly and quick service. It can sometimes be a bit tight in the waiting area but they have seating outside and that's great in the spring and summer. If it's cold they usually let you stay in the vehicle. Only recommendation is avoid the coffee. I haven't tried it personally but I've never been one for service station coffee. All in all the service is good but most importantly it's quick. You can't beat that when we all live busy lives. read more

My first time here, just came to get an oil change. The customer service was great. The gentleman explained what you get for the money and where to find coffee, water and bathroom. I went in for an oil change only and told the person that greeted me that I only wanted the oil change and to not sell me anything else. Five mins later they pulled my car in and here come another guy trying to get me to buy an air filter. I know the gimmicks of them trying to get you to pay more when you can go buy it yourself and put it in way cheaper. Secondly, I looked out and saw the same guy who greeted me pulled my car out and his doing the reseting portion. Then he has the nerve to bump my music up like he is in his car, bopping his head. He turns and look at me and I signal him to get the hell out my car. Like what the fuck!! Then he comes in telling me that my system sounds nice.. what!! Then as I'm paying the gentleman ask me a question and I responded but the female rebuttal warrants run out with a smirk. First off, you don't know my warrant plan. I came in to just get an oil change because I know I would be at the dealership for more than hour just for an oil change when you don't have an appointment. So if I as the customer tell you that I do not want/need anything and only want an oil change. If I were to judge all Jiffy Lubes by THIS store I'd never go to another one. They are always slow and expensive but today was the straw that broke the camels back. I called them and asked "do you do front end alignments". They told me they did which I now know to be a lie. They farm out to the mechanic next door who tried to cheat me out of $900 for repairs I didn't need, in order to pass inspection on another vehicle I took to him ON JIFFY LUBES RECOMMENDATION. There is some kind of under the table collusion between those two businesses it seems and I was told by a manager of JLs competitor that the afore mentioned mechanic is a jerk as he has delivered parts to his his store and he understood completely why I wouldn't want him touching my vehicles. So, after being lied to unknowingly that JL does front end alignments when they don't I ask my wife, who had the afternoon off of work, to take my truck in for me. She was told it would take 1 hour. After an hour she asked status to which she was told because of a car in front of her having issues it would be another hour. So two hours we are up to. She left to go shop in a nearby store and came back in an hour expecting truck to be done. They hadn't even started on it and never bothered to call to let her know. Wasting two hours of my wife's time I drove up there after I got off work to let the manager know that he's farming vehicles out to someone who tried to rip me off and in fact did out of the $83 inspection costs and after being lied to and now costing my wife an afternoon I would be letting their corporate office know and we would never be back. Honestly I don't see how they stay in business after treating customers the way they did us today. read more

The staff is slow and behave as though they are doing you a favor, while you are paying them to waste your entire day, my car could be on fire and I wouldn't as this shop for water. I was leaving the gym and my SUV was not shifting gears. It was jerking really bad I'm not from the area I just work in Waldorf so when I googled a place to take my car Jiffy Lube was the closest and I literally got there five minutes before closing. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome anyway! They were extremely competent at their job and they had my issue figured out in no time and I was back on the road and driving safely within 20 minutes! Went there for an oil change and had to turn right back around and go back because they left all four of my tire pressures uneven and didn't reset my oil light (car was still alarming to change oil)....Mind you they ask you what tire pressure you want beforehand...I told them 33 and they had two at 38 and two at 34. When I went back they reset the oil light and instead of putting my tires at 33 they lazily put them all at 38 (I was checking my Onstar app)...by that time my husband was just frustrated and wanted to leave so we left the tires as they were and went home....which is when we noticed our personal property missing out of our glove compartment. We already had made up our minds about not returning here before we noticed we were stolen from.....idk if it's the location or the company however it doesn't matter because Jiffy Lube will never get our business again. read more

Came here to get an oil change and when told how much it will be for the different prices I immediately starting looking for other cheaper places to go. Trying to charge all this money for "convenience" such as checking tire pressures and vacuuming car when I just got brand new tired and vacuumed myself. There are cheaper options in the area. This was a complete waste of time! I came into the Waldorf, MD location on Crain Highway to have a fog light bulb replaced. The Assistant Manager informed me that the bulb would be ordered and the replacement should take no more than 30 minutes. This GOD awful experience has taken over 1hour and 20 minutes. Yes I am still sitting here and was informed they would now go get the bulb because the delivery is taking too long. This is ridiculous customer is definitely not part of Juffy Lube University! My father took his work truck here for an oil change. After the "oil change", they told him that his truck wouldn't start and acted clueless as to what could be wrong. LUCKILY for him it was his company's truck so his company came to get it and took it to their techs who discovered that jiffy lube took the oil out but did not replace the oil which then burnt up the engine. They knew they made the mistake and tried to cover it up by adding oil after they burnt the engine up. Jiffy lube did eventually replace the engine after lawyers got involved. Lucky for my dad that this was a company truck and the company had resources. I hope this never has happened to someone without the resources because they would be stuck with a ruined vehicle since jiffy lube will deny deny deny. They tried everything to get the truck started so the blame wouldn't be on them.. BEWARE! read more
