Great spot for freshly baked quiches, sweet rolls and bread. Have tried and liked everyone of Doug's sweet rolls (cinnamon, orange, almond) as well as the ham and cheese. Unfortunately, I've become a fan of the bacon & cheese croissant, which is actually made with a thick slice of bacon. Loved Ashley's cupcakes which actually taste real (why is this so hard for other bakeries to master?). Haven't had lunch yet, but will definitely order cakes from them in the future. Now there are other bakery's in town. However, This place is what completes us. Consistency is key, and your assured anytime you go there, you will find the freshest pastries, awesome Scones, Sweet rolls, and several speciality goodies. My husband and I happened upon this tasty gem of a bakery today during a break from our road trip. We're from Portland and feel a bit spoiled with our food culture but this place was delightful in its food as well as those that served us. While we ate our sandwiches it dawned on us how important amazing bread is to a great sandwich. This place certainly delivers in great bread. I asked what they were known for and I was directed toward the raspberry cinnamon roll. AWESOME! Thanks to the staff for such a treat on our way through. I can't say enough about this bakery. The best cinnamon rolls anywhere. The wraps are delicious. Add to that that the owner is just so nice, last time we swung through we left with two complimentary strawberry rhubarb cookies just so that we could try them. Owners were very friendly, the rest of the staff wasn't. I eat gluten free and vegetarian and my sandwich was absolutely delicious. My husband, on the other hand though his sandwich was a little bland and when he asked for some ranch dressing to put in it what he got tasted more like caesar. We were on the way to crater lake and looked for a place for a quick coffee and a bite. Yelp pointed us here so we stopped by. We got Cappuccinos (milk was frothy and smooth , coffee was strong and tasty) as well as a lemon bar (fantastic lemony flavor), a red velvet brownie (glazing was delicious) and a roast beef sandwich. The bread on the sandwich was amazing, with a good amount of beef and tasty garlic and Dijon aiolis. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get a delicious bite with some great coffee. read more

Great food! I went there with my husband and kids. We got the breakfast sandwich, cinnamon roll and bread pudding muffin. Not a crumb was left behind. They did not have any more homemade english muffins so they put the sandwich on a bagel. It was still very tasty. Not just mayo, egg and bacon. There was great layers of flavor. You have to try the bagel breakfast sandwich! The garlic aioli haunts me. It's legitimately the best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten. I've told a few of my friends about it, only to have them become frustrated with me, because they are now haunted by this very same amazing sandwich. The rest of their baked goods are also on point. The attitude by servers is always different, from a somewhat bad attitude to pleasant-- some others have noted also-- but I keep going back! Cinnamon rolls and savory rolls are pretty good. I have tried the bagets (spelling?) , and was underwhelmed but I'll try again-- overall I am very grateful that we have them in the area. read more

I WANT to love Dassh - in fact, they're one of my favorite stops for pastries or a quick lunch, BUT....their service and customer service has suffered recently. If you're lucky enough to get them to answer their phone, they're often short, impatient, and can't be bothered to take call-in orders. Alternatively, they're often late to open by at least 10 minutes, which is inconvenient for those on a schedule. Food = GREAT, Service and business practice = NOT SO MUCH. read more

Our favorite bakery in town!!! The Hudsons constantly switch up the selections of cakes, cookies, gourmet cupcakes, scones, cinnamon rolls, bread & the lastest . . . the CRONUT!!! We have recently discovered this bakery and it has become our favorite very quickly. Initially, I wasn't interested because I'm used to going into a bakery and seeing long glass cases with cakes and cupcakes and cookies. I wasn't sure about this little place having such a small selection of pastries in the case. But I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! So far, we've had the breakfast sandwiches on bagels, the bacon cheddar quiche (they also had brie and ham and Southwest and probably more but I stopped listening after knowing what I would get), blueberry scones and cranberry orange scones, orange rolls (that looked like a cinnamon roll without the cinnamon and finally, a cinnamon roll. We really enjoyed everything and unlike many other bakeries, we didn't have that sluggish feeling after eating. Not sure why. Everything tastes like it's made with great ingredients, and fresh!! As far as the bagels being "store bought", maybe the raw dough is (?), I have no idea, but they were freshly boiled and baked and were not like any "store bought bagels" I've ever encountered (and I'm from the east coast). They were really good. My only complaint is that they are not located in Medford. :( read more

I don't eat gluten anymore so I can't speak to the delicious-looking baked goods. However the BLT salad has become my favorite lunch, especially for the price ($8.50). Very fresh, generous portion and the smoky bacon dressing is excellent. Very nice to eat outside in the nice weather, especially since they are located off the main drag and don't get as much vehicular traffic. read more
