First let me say I love her cupcakes. But you cannot depend on her business hours or her product availability. Maybe she's open, maybe she's not. You can't call and ask because she doesn't ever answer the phone. EVER. She says you can text but you may not hear from her for hours if at all. I was the first person in the shop as soon as it opened to order cupcakes and she's out of her most popular ones. Seriously? I wish I hadn't left so angry but I will never go back. Amazing creations. Danielle is a rock star. I live in LA but wanted to get something special for a friend's birthday - and she's in Grant's Pass. Found G.G. Sugarplum's through Yelp. Called and spoke to Danielle, who patiently explained their custom and stock creations. I settled on a dozen of their cupcakes - each one quite ample and beautifully decorated. Would me being in LA pose a problem for giving a credit card? Not at all! She texted me their Square invoice and it took all of 5 seconds for me to add a gratuity and pay it, as my card info autofilled. Not only that, I asked Danielle if she could send me a pic of the cupcakes when they were ready, which she easily did. My friend picked them up a couple hours ago and loved them! Couldn't decide which to eat first. Definitely scored points on that one! Looking forward to stopping by in person when I'm up there early next year! read more

Where do I begin!? First, I'm not a cake person, and I'm definitely not a frosting person. I don't know what magic is going into these cupcakes but I *crave* them. The frosting is insane. Try the cookie dough cupcake! If you're lucky, grab a Biscoff Tiramisu. It's a game changer! We always end up with all sort of bits and bobs when we go in and we've yet to be disappointed! The owner is so sweet and you can be assured of impeccable service, down to the careful packaging of your delicious treats. The shop is cute and we always feel warm and welcome (even when sneaking by just at closing). I know I'll be filling my loyalty card sooner than later! read more

After a very late lunch out today I was in the mood for a little something sweet. So I said to the family, want to go pick up some kind of pastry? Well, the choices here in Grants Pass are sadly limited. I'm racking my brain trying to think, sweets...sweets...sweets...and then I remember walking by this place the other day. So off we went to seek out this cupcake shop! I chose the German Chocolate cupcake for myself and brought it home, filled up a large glass of ice cold milk, and sat down to try this out. Upon first bite, I could tell it was all homemade from scratch, it tasted fresh and good quality. The first thing that popped into my mind was, wow, this tastes as good as if I would have made it myself...to be honest, probably better. The cake part was fluffy and light. The frosting excellent. The family voted 2 thumbs up on theirs too. Verdict....I loved it, and I will absolutely be back to try out more flavors! read more

Service is always amazing and with a smile. It's a tiny shop so when it's busy it's crowded but the cupcakes are frosted fresh and delicious. If you want a custom cake you better order ahead but honestly I have never heard one complaint from a guest at our parties. read more

I can't believe I haven't made a review on this wonderful place before!! This delectable bakery made my wedding cake!! It was gorgeous as well as scrumptious!! Bottom half was white cake with tart lemon and top was chocolate with chocolate mousse all iced with cream cheese frosting. Decorated with fresh flowers....really well done!! Excellent!! Very good pricing, too!! They have fresh cupcakes...lots of different kinds and all are so good! They also have dole whip all the time..ready when you get there!!! Zero stars. Let them know I was charged for something that wasn't done and the owner completely lost it. I asked for a full refund because other items on the order weren't done either and the changes they took the liberty of making were not discussed with me. To top it off, the owner retaliated against my review, and my dispute with my credit card over the charges that weren't refunded (so far she's only refunded $10), by making a lengthy, lie filled, post about it on fb. Posting my review but none of the back and forth msgs. That would expose her bs lying. I also have the interaction with the employee recorded as well. Along with every text msg. Avoid this place. There are much more professional bakeshops elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and the hassle. read more

Very first time in this Bakeshop and will not return. They sampled their donut cupcake and it honestly tasted like nothing. I bought their carrot cake cupcake and it was the oiliest cake, I threw it out after one bite. It didn't even have nuts or raisins, and the cream cheese frosting tasted so bland and sugary. Carrot cake is supposed to have lots of spices and the cake was flavorless. They need serious adjustments to their recipes if they want to be the best Bakeshop in town. Very sad. read more

Have visited twice after 10am and 12pm signs on the door and online say open but when you get there they are not. Very disorganized and dissatisfied, a huge dissapointment.
