It's been awhile since I've been here and happily surprised to see it not only still open but thriving! They added new games and have been giving it a face lift! We came with a group of friends and ate at the GameBar then enjoyed playing all the games. GameBar has food and ticket deals for like $20 bucks. Service is good, the waitresses are hopping! There is a nice variety of activities, from classics to arcade versions of favorite apps. We did not eat in, but the food we saw coming out looked good. My friend and I only had pretzels and a desert which I cannot remember the name of, but it was very good! The service was good considering they were pretty busy. It was the normal D&B ambiance, but the games were really good. We loved that the claw machines were double tap. We cleaned them out (2 bags full)! We decided to go last Sunday and made reservations- just a last minute family fun day. We started with food before games and ordered 4 appetizers. We did the cantina nachos, burrata bruschetta, Korean sticky ribs & truffle fries with a chipotle dip and a garlic aioli. Hands down the burrata was my favorite. The fries with the garlic aioli were really good. Very crisp. The nachos were packed full of flavor. The ribs.. were pretty terrible. Very dry with little meat. The sauce was good but it couldn't save these old ribs. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Overall- good food. We also had fun with the games- I will say some were in need of repair or calibrating. Some were missing balls so you couldn't complete your game. Some got stuck or took your card scan and never started. We still had a good time and will be back for another family day soon. The prizes were pretty decent, we ended with 15k. This was my second visit to Dave and Busters and my first time ordering food. Our server, Becca, was excellent and real. She was very prompt, friendly and engaging. She made it a very nice experience. The food itself was also very good, if a bit pricier than what I'm accustomed to. I had the 14 oz sirloin and it was cooked very well with just the right amount of fat. The accompanying garlic mashed potatoes were also very good. Our appetizer platter was decent and the honey siracha chicken wings were crispy, albeit they could have used a bit more heat to the spices. The games were also fun, though the billiard area could have better instructions on how to use them. We had to ask a couple already playing how to get our balls and while we were playing, we had another couple approach to us to ask as well! The arcade area was lively, filled with light and sound. Not great for the easily startled or distracted. I don't know if they improved the games or the app, but this time around, most of the games immediately recognized my smartphone. With my first visit last month, EVERY game took multiple attempts to get it to read my phone, but this time only two seemed to struggle. All the staff were friendly and made for a very enjoyable evening. None of my minor criticisms were deal-breakers, thus why I'm leaving a five-star review. read more

I'm not sure why it has such a low average rating because my group ordered lots of different stuff to try off the menu and ALL of it was 10/10 delicious!! All of the staff were super kind and while they looked a little short on staff the ones they did have were very efficient and making sure we had everything we needed! My fiancé and I are big fans of the Dave & Buster's in Louisville, so when we are on vacation we tend to find ourselves at one in another city. This is the 3rd location we've visited together. The venue itself is huge and very well decorated. The dining area is much nicer than any of the other locations we've been to. Sadly, the service is lacking. The hostess didn't greet us and then expected us to follow her. When we asked her about sitting at a booth instead of a table, she seemed irritated and then walked to a booth (again without saying anything to us) and then seated us. She said something as she walked away - not sure if it was rude or not because we couldn't catch what she said. We immediately talked to a manager about her behavior. If this hadn't been one of our favorite places we wouldn't have stayed. The hostess definitely rubbed us the wrong way and made our experience less then ideal. The server we had didn't check on us very much and at the end never came back to give us a box for our leftovers - we had to catch the attention of a different server. They really weren't that busy, so I'm not sure where the disconnect was. The food was just as good as the other locations. We are creatures of habit and get the same meal at each spot. It's nice that the food quality is consistent. You know exactly what you're getting. We highly recommend the voodoo pasta and the salmon with mashed potatoes. The gaming area was a little disappointing. A few of our favorite games were out of commission. We didn't find too many different games than we had at home, so we only played a couple before leaving. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop back in here again. Hopefully if we do find ourselves here again, they'll have better service. read more

This place used to be a great venue to watch Bengals games - good food great drinks, but today we found out that their wine list is limited to little tiny bottles of terrible wine. The food wasn't that good and needless to say I don't drink a little bottles of wine. We won't be back. I assume this place won't be open that much longer. This is an edit to the review a few hours later I now realize that national chains that go with the little wine bottles do that just before the entire chain goes chapter 11. I'm really surprised this place averages at a 3! My family had a wonderful time with only one complaint the whole time; slow server. Otherwise, this trip was pretty close to perfect. We had a couple coupons from our entertainment book that they gladly let us use in separate transactions. Free $20 play with $20 purchase. So, we spent $40 on play for a family of four and lasted us almost two hours. All of the workers are friendly and the place is kept clean. I love that they don't have the same exact games from 3 years ago, they obviously rotate them out. I used to come here a lot and it's still the same Dave and Busters that I remember. Fun, friendly, clean, safe. The food is pricey but dang is it surprisingly good!! I highly recommend getting dinner here. They also have good deals like $20 unlimited play and chicken wings. I personally love Dave & Busters and have fond memories of going there with my Grandpa and Brother as a child. Sadly, the food quality, games, and service have slipped, especially during COVID. The prices of the food and drinks are crazy. Alcohol is a nightmare and service is absolutely terrible. Plus, they got rid of their Philly Cheesesteak which was the best thing on the menu. Now you have the sliders that are stale bread. The burger I ordered last time was alright and my girlfriend liked her pasta but the wait was absolutely too long and the bartender (even though we were sitting in the area and had ordered drinks) refused to help and told us to wait for our server??? We sat there as our urge to compete for tickets faded. The games? Well, all VR was shutdown which seemed amazing but based on the atmosphere I understand. Several of the games were broken and stole credits while not working; others just said out of order. They still had the classics from when I was a kid like basketball and fighting games, co-op shooting. We really did love 4 square both original and basketball version. Also the ring toss and anything I could beat her in (lol....joking) This would be 4* but the service, price for food and beverages, and ticket quantity to get any prizes is ridiculous. The good news? We wanted to relive our childhood and hang out in an arcade for a night and Dave and busters was first to come to mind. When we arrived and bought our game card from the front desk they also offered us a coat/umbrella check for an additional dollar which was cool bc we were prepared to have to lug our stuff around with us and this amenity made it easy. We had a seat inside the arcade and waited for a server to come around with a menu. They were busy and understaffed which is not surprising but we weren't in a rush so it was okay. Especially bc once we ordered all the food and drinks came out super fast. Food was just okay and drinks are strong especially the Long Island iced teas which I highly recommend. The brookie sundae was the highlight of the meal and if you are looking to make a healthier choice they now have lots of salads and avocado toast on the menu which seems completely out of place but it's there should a craving strike you. Games were fun and plentiful, they don't give physical tickets anymore so all your points are automatically loaded on your game card. The prize store leaves a lot to be desired but the prizes that are available will make children happy. Overall a fun time and we would return again. read more

Decided to go here for food and some games. We received a warm welcome from a girl at the front desk and she was kind and knowledgeable. We grabbed a seat and put a food order in. I got the chicken parmesan and it was absolutely fantastic! A TON of flavor and great portion size! We went to play some games and had 2-3 machines that we used our credits for but flat out didn't work. Buttons not able to be pressed yet still took our credits. This is the reason for the docked stars. While we didn't 'complain' or ask for our money/credits back, I do hope they fix these machines and avoid this issue for the next people! The food was good and the games that worked were fun. We only got enough tickets for some fun dip but had those other games worked.. you never know! Went here after work. It was not very busy. The service was great. The food came out quickly. The fries were hot and plentiful. The wings looked great they were cooked well but the the buffalo sauce was not as tasty as I remembered from past visit. Next time I will try something different. At this location a group of older teenagers/young adults were throwing those hard skiiballs around the arcade area. I was hit very hard in the chest leaving large bruises and a lot of pain. Two weeks later and still have a nice bruise showing where I was hit. We reported it to the employees who did nothing after explaining how many children are around and not wanting them hit. Before I did a one star review knowing things happen, I tried calling the location, calling corporate, wrote in online and more and never received a call back. This was not an accident. The food is mediocre and priced like you'd expect at an expensive arcade. The service is a disaster. I've only had good service a few times. I love the new remodeled Dave & Busters. It makes for a fun evening out with friends or just that special someone. Have a great dinner or just drinks or both. The bar area offers plenty of tvs for sports events. Also there is plenty of pool tables to the right of the bar. Behind the bar is the restaurant with many booths and tables for a nice dinner. Behind that or in the next room, is the awesome game room. Be sure to buy plenty of points for the game card so you couldn't get in some awesome playing time and maybe win some awesome prizes! I think overall this place is a bit over expensive but it's definitely a good time! Also a great place for groups they have a few party rooms and my organization actually rented out the entire place! I went to play pool with my party of 7 and we drank. We got 100 ounce of beer for $20.99 and we got a Berry Smash for me at $8.99. Sadly, we came a bit late on a Sunday night so the kitchen was closed. The staff was very friendly and the bartender guy didn't mind bringing the 100 ounce to our table when I asked. He just wanted me to help by bringing the set of cups and my drink aha. Overall, Dave & Buster's is a really fun place to hangout with anyone. I've been to Dave & Buster's before and after the 2012 remodel and strangely enough, the better experiences came prior to renovations. The main downfall I've noticed is with the restaurant portion of the business. Fifteen friends and I came to have dinner and celebrate a birthday. Sure, it's a lot of people, but D&B should have been able to handle our group... right? As we arrived, we were seated in a large booth in the sports bar section of the restaurant. We were hoping to be sat in the more intimate restaurant side, but the hostess insisted we could only fit in the sports bar. Only half of our group fit on the booth side and not a single chair was available to place across the table to create aisle seating. Half of our group stood around for about 20 minutes before a manager showed up to remedy the situation. Later, I noticed barely anyone sitting in the restaurant side; I wonder what the issue was? We ordered drinks. As the waitress worked her way down the table, she skipped over two of us completely. I flagged her down when she returned with others' beverages and was ignored. When we eventually ordered, my frozen margarita tasted more like a sno-cone than an alcoholic beverage and was too thick to suck through the straw. The waters we asked for at the same time didn't arrive until our entrees showed up. For my main, I ordered the Nacho Mountain, which was more like a nacho mountain of lies. For $10.00, the chips greatly outnumbered the toppings and there was no queso cheese. It's nachos - you have to have cheese! Half way through my plate, I pulled a long, curly hair from my food. Fortunately, the waitress remedied the problem and didn't charge me for my entree. As dinner came to a close, the check situation was chaos. Some people paid individually, some as couples. Barely anyone had the correct bill, with items listed for people sitting at the opposite ends of the table, or additional drinks or appetizers tacked on. I had to send my bill back three times to be corrected. I understand how hectic it is for a single server to handle a large party, but a little organization when writing down orders could have prevented this. Over on the games side, the evening got better. We played after 10:00, which is when adults only gaming begins. The trivia game is by far my favorite and was a blast to play with our large group. Fast & The Furious racing reminded me of my favorite old school arcade game, Cruisin' USA. The voices and car options were even the same! The gigantic Connect Four, four player Pacman, and four player air hockey topped the list, as did the Star Wars pod racing game. The old school carnival games were fun too, like ski ball, squirt gun races, and the roll-a-ball horse races. At the end of the night, our group had pulled together 5,800 tickets for our birthday boy, who picked out a giant, create your own message LCD screen from the gift shop. I've always been more fond of tokens and classic arcade games over the new point cards and flashy games, but Dave & Buster's entertainment has grown on me. It still makes me raise an eyebrow at how games went from costing 2 tokens to 4.3 credits. The credits to dollars ratio has definitely inflated since my youth, with the average game costing $2.00 per play. ($1.00 buys 3 credits.) Despite the dismal service at the restaurant, I had fun celebrating in the arcade with my friends. Aesthetically, the remodel looks great, but I would suggest working with the sports bar staff to improve customer experience. Side note: D&B needs to add prices to their drink menu. DRINKS: $9.00 Margaritas, $7.00 Mojitos, $7.00 Long Islands FOOD: $10.00 appetizers, $15.00 entrees GAMES: Get the $30.00 points card and do the $3.00 upgrade package. It gives you an adequate amount of bonus points considering $1.00 only buys 3 points. This should keep you entertained for two hours.
