Charcuterie Board

Enjoyed a Friday evening HH visit (read I was waiting at the door when they opened) which included a great red I hadn't previously tried and a really full cheese board. The service was friendly and I would definitely return. It was very lively so if you're looking for an intimate conversation, I'd pick a different day to visit. We left before the live entertainment, but it seemed like it would be a fun band.

Came in on live music night and it was amaze! Wine, food & atmosphere made sure I will return on all my trips back

The Wise Owl is a small wine bar in an unassuming location. The wines and service are, however, excellent. The owner has a great selection of wines. I enjoyed the opportunity to sit outside in nice lounge chairs an enjoy a very nice Chardonnay filled by a good Pinot. The menu items pair well with wine. My choices; hummus and bruschetta were perfect for my wine selections. Overall, very good and relaxing.

The Wise Owl is a treat! We visited for our weekly date night and were highly impressed. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the Pasta and stuffed mushrooms. All of their food is appetizer size, so it's fun to pick a few and make a meal sampler out of it. The drinks were a hit as well. To top it off, the service was awesome! 5/5

The wise owl is such a fun environment. It's like a community bar where everyone interacts. Although it's a winery, they also have reallllly great food! I just took this picture of their stuffed mushrooms last week! I would recommend a happy hour here any week!

Yelp does not allow post to be removed within 8 hours. Wise owl is a good establishment.

Phenomenal wine bar. My husband and I went a few years ago and loved it. The staff were awesome. The ambience is lovely. I recommend it.

This was originally a "speakeasy" but has since gotten HUGE signage directing you to it, so really…read moredoesn't qualify anymore. You can either walk through the gun center or enter at the rear / side of the building. Either way it is a bit of a walk so could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. I was surprised that there were not any disabled parking spots close to the side entrance. It's a large lounge, upscale and beautifully decorated though does not have an intimate feel. Majority of seating is tables vs. bar. The cocktail menu is unique and fun, with the different drinks named after famous and infamous gunslingers. I had a Baby Face Nelson which was attractive and delicious. At first I though it was a little weak but towards the end it hit with a bang (see what I did there). I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.

A relaxing at Tommie's. Live music, great cocktails and good service. Perfect combination. Also…read morenoticed the new and lower prices on some of their specialty cocktails.

I will say this was an amazing sandwich. The coffee was very good as well. My waitress was attentive and took great care of me. Sadly I didn't write her name down or I would add her to my review. I will be back, as I want to try their other sandwiches and meals.

There was no water issue- so maybe sewer gas? Not a great first impression. I would like to say the servers were wonderful. If I could rate them alone it would be 5 stars- they were the majority of the 3 we gave for this visit. The food itself- no one was very impressed with- it was all just ok. The only stand out was the Southern chicken and waffles. Nice heat and both were crispy. Everything else was just bland- (between us we had eggs Benedict, breakfast burger, denver omelettes, French toast, southern chicken and waffles). The Nashville Mary had some appetizers attached- those were good- the drink itself wasn't. For 7 of us, the bill was $200. We have heard good things about the All-Day menu so we may go back to try that- the brunch for us is a no- there are better options in the area like Coopers Hawk, Cheesecake Factory, Toast & Berry, Cozy's etc

We started with the tasting and all of the selections on the sweet menu were absolutely delicious! I honestly would purchase them all by the bottle they were that good. Even though it was a little busy, we still were able to walk right up and get a spot and were instantly waited on and she did a wonderful job of keeping the tastings coming. We hadn't decided on dinner yet and my friend recommended we stay and eat because she loved the food - I am glad that I took her suggestion. I got the jambalaya and I do not think I have had such a flavorful jambalaya in Ohio much less a winery-type place. My mouth is honestly watering right now thinking about it. Our waiter for our dinner was quick and kind. Overall it was an amazing experience, especially for my birthday, and I will definitely be back - that strawberry rhubarb wine is calling my name again already!

We made our reservation about a month in advance, arrived early at 5:00 p.m. for our 5:15 seating, and were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress, Margaret, was friendly at first--but unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. We waited 45 minutes for our starter and an hour and a half for our entrée. What made it more frustrating was watching nearby tables--many seated after us--receive their meals, finish, and even turn over while we were still waiting. We finally left around 7:30 p.m., feeling very disappointed. The food at Cooper's Hawk is consistently excellent, which is why this experience was so discouraging. There were also billing issues: I had a birthday reward and several wine bottles through my membership available, yet the wine was still charged to our bill and the birthday reward wasn't applied until I pointed it out. Although part of it was corrected, we still ended up paying for the bottle that should have been included. We usually enjoy wonderful visits here, and Cooper's Hawk remains one of my favorite restaurants. However, this particular experience--especially the long wait times and billing confusion--was truly disappointing, and I would hesitate to dine in the same section again.
