    There are some experiences that warrant a lengthy review, because a simple 5 star rating doesn't convey the experience thoroughly. I have been searching for a particular vehicle and always came across one a day late and dollar short. However, a search during an occasional sweep allowed me to locate one within driving distance. I called Dave Kirk GMC and was greeted by a professional representative Jessica. She located the car for me, sent me a personal walk around video, and looked at special request areas for me. Amazing. I called back and put down a deposit to hold the vehicle. I was introduced to Nick Sayre at this point. And let me tell you, someone who has customer service to a science, it's this man. I felt like we have been friends since highschool (many many years ago). It's difficult to connect with someone like that instantly; he treated you like family. Like the ones you call because you want to (smile). Nick answered every question for me and answered questions I didn't think to have. Nick and I discussed the sale and came to a final price. Also, I sent Nick all my paperwork for my trade to initiate conversation and through professional negotiations, came to a great deal for my final out the door price. Fast forward to the next day, there were no surprises...actually one. Nick had the car through service, detailed, and in front with my name on the car! This wasn't a new car sale, mind you, this was a preowned sale. I was blown away. Very professional and friendly; like we've known each other this whole time. No surprises when I was introduced to finance and spoke with Travis, another professional with a great sense of humor. For the financial process, we all sometimes fear (or loathe) due to its complexity or dry event timeline; Travis made this process seamless and enjoyable. True master of his craft as well. During my discussions, I was introduced to Greg, the General Manager, and we discussed many items in length over my trade and my "new to me" purchase, he has had years of experience and ensured that I was taken care of by his team. During my purchase, I requested some non routine service to be performed (my own dime of course), due to my long drive back, I wanted some peace of mind. The vehicle didnt really need it, but I'm borderline OCD and wanted it anyway. I was introduced to Michael, service advisor, and requested maintenance history (to go along with my dealer provided carfax) and he eagerly obliged. Michael was also able to squeeze me in during his busy day with a "skeleton crew". Amazing customer service. I didn't mention all of this was from a phone conversation that started on a Friday afternoon that led into Saturday morning. All of this was completed overnight and I arrived at 0900 (3.5 hour drive) and was complete with my deal within the hour. The service I requested allowed me to leave early afternoon, and was extremely pleased. This is a true definition of customer service and family dealership. Hands down, this is where I would recommend to all my family and friends. We will be back and will advocate for this location to anyone and everyone asking for a recommended dealership.

    If I could give this dealer a MINUS 10 I would! I bought a classic 2002 Specialty Camaro. I knew when I bought it, it would need work. But, I never envisioned that Dave Kirk Chevrolet would not know how to fix a car! I have now spent $4,068 for them to supposedly find and fix the same problem! Add to buy one of the parts from eBay Motors because they could not find it. Additionally, I told the service writer several times to have the spare tire and all the exterior lights checked, since the four tires on the car were bad and I thought the spare was under the trunk. Silly me! They never checked either, or they would have discovered that the spare was not bad, it was non-existant! To make matters worse when I called Dave Kirk about the spare, the service writer made a JOKE that at least the car was running. I told him I had not driven it far enough to make sure of that. Well, HE not only made a bad joke, he was dead wrong! I got a flat near my home in one of the new tires I bought, purchased a spare from eBay motors and had AAA put the spare on. When I headed over to the tire shop about 35 miles from home to have the flat fixed after having AAA change out the flat I got 1/2 way there and again the dash lit up like a Christmas Tree. I literally limped back home and since the flat in the trunk of the Camaro is far too heavy for me to lift out, the dealer will have to send someone out to get it into my other car. Needless to say, I will be taking the Camaro to another shop in town and demanding at least a partial refund for the money spent for nothing, to say nothing of the almost 3-month down time in the shop. That makes THREE times in the shop for weeks on end for the same problem!

    Even though the dealer posted an offer to contact me it never happened. I emailed and left a voicemail but still nothing. Be warned.
