Replacement rear brakes. Here I am 500 miles from and rear brakes sound like a meat grinder. Whip out the old phone looking for someone to repair. Express Automotive name and number Pop up. Call them explain my situation. ge the car over to them was able to get loaner back to where it. I was stating. 30 minutes I get call what needs done and [ice quote that was very reasonable and the car will be ready the same day. Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable owner Jason. I took my Honda in for different work than before because they were awesome and fair. He did the routine recommended maintenance yesterday, and it was a lot lower than I expected compared to what I would have paid elsewhere. Very honest and won't talk you into unnecessary add-ons. We recently moved here to Tennessee and on the advice of the person we are renting land from, went to this business to buy a car. We paid in cash on June 6, 2022, and took the car with a sunroof that won't open, with the promise that the motor for the sunroof would be in in a "couple of days," at which point we could bring the car back in and they would install it. Fast forward six weeks, and we have had the WORST treatment. We have been told numerous times that they had a tracking number and it would be in "in a day or two." They have not ONCE called back when they said they would, and today told my husband that there is no tracking number. We are moving from the area and told them this long ago, they assured us they would take care of it. I sure hope most companies aren't like this here, and am absolutely stunned at this treatment, when we went there on the advice of someone who knows these people. I would NOT recommend them, as they have proven very dishonest. read more

They were able to make her running like new! Everyone working there possesses great qualities on top of doing a fantastic job. This place had picked up my Jeep after I had a wreck in the snow, they towed it to their shop which was all good however the problem comes when they don't tell me until 430 that it is ready to pick up and they close at 5 and I am at work until 5, with it being a Friday I asked if we could get it in the morning on Sat and they said no that they were closed but could get it first thing Monday morning so we said OK we will make it work well when we get there Monday they charged us a storage fee for sat and Sunday (which as of August 2015 that is now illegal) we explained to them they could not do this and even read them the law and they said they did not care what the law was that was their policy so we had to pay it or they would keep the Jeep, be very careful with the towing part of this company they are very crooked. read more

My family took an inherited 1999 Monte Carlo in to this shop for repairs after being shocked by the estimate at a dealer. My sister called me in to review the list of proposed fixes (I'm the family shade tree mechanic). We were trying to make sure the result was worth the expense and the car would be reliable as my niece was flying in to pick it up and drive it to Wisconsin over spring break. The mechanic explained what needed to be done and the repair coordinator showed us a detailed estimate and time line for the repairs. The estimate was much more affordable than the one from the dealer and they inspired confidence, so we commissioned the work. The shop completed the repairs (intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, 3rd brake light, etc.) and performed an inspection which demonstrated the other systems were in excellent working order. I inspected the work and It looked perfect. My family drove it around for a day before it made the long drive to Wisconsin without any issues. I would highly recommend Express Automotive and I'll be taking my cars there as well. I had seen the one negative review on Yelp before we commissioned the work, but discounted it as one does when the reviewer is clearly on a rant. We found the people at Express Automotive to be extremely professional and courteous. read more

I recently wrote a negative review about this company, and as a result of that review, I received a phone call from someone at Express Automotive, (he gave me his name, but never told me his position within the company). The reason for the negative review I gave was based on, what I thought was shoddy work. I had asked them to do several things, one of which was to adjust my vehicles parking brake.Although they charged me for the adjustment, the parking brake never once worked properly. The other problem I had was that , "as a courtesy", while your vehicle is in their shop, they check all of your vehicles fluid levels. Unfortunately for me, whoever checked the fluid level in my radiator neglected to tighten the radiator cap tightly As a result, while driving into Crossville, I thankfully noticed my truck starting to overheat. I was able to get to the Wal Mart and purchased several gallons of water to put back into the radiator.Needles to say,I was not only inconvenienced, but had I not caught the overheating engine, it could have done extensive damage to my vehicle. I politely explained these things to the caller from Express Automotive. Not once during the course of the conversation did this person take ownership of his companies mistakes, nor did he offer an apology. Instead, right before abruptly hanging up on me, he said this to me ---- and I quote: "we deal with a__ holes ALL THE TIME, and your an a__hole!" Apparently, since they deal with a__ holes ALL THE TIME, me, you, and everyone else who takes their vehicles to them should consider themselves to be a__holes! Not a way to run a business! read more

Bad customer service. Owner was hiding the brand of oil they use. Asked what kind of oil brand they used and got the run around(red flag). They would not show me, just stated it is like a well known brand. When somebody tries insulting your intelligence by not giving a honest answer and just handing back your keys and telling you to leave. I feel that is rude. Customer has a right to know what is being put in their car. I would not refer anybody to this business. read more
