Ryan properly set my expectations, I.e. the price could possibly be more due to hidden damage. My vehicle ended up being totaled by my insurance. So our insurance people suggested Jake's. My wife took the truck there and before we even were finished with the estimate, the insurance company had paid the claim. Almost $10K damage. We were moving to MD the next week, and Jake's guys got the truck in, fixed it, and got it back out within 6 days. Terrific customer service and expert repairs. Even fixed an annoying rattle in the headliner. For a little town on the border of the Black Hills, it is amazing to me that people like these guys exist. My car trailer was also banged up, and Mike located a fender for it. He fixed the one on the other side before it became a problem. Back in the RV on the way home, towing my VW on the trailer, I'm pleased that professionals at Rt. 16 Auto Body were able to fix everything on time, at a good price, and with high quality.

I asked if they usually clean up vehicles after service and was told they detailed it after they repaired it but it's hard to keep the dust out with the concrete plant close. so... within a couple hours of "detailing" it was dirtier than before I left it? Gaslight much? I have to take it back because they didn't clip the bumper in properly either. Not sure what else is under the bumper that is not fixed but I'll be taking it to a different body shop to check. Not a good look.

After explaining our situation to him, he managed to rig things together as best he could and got it running, and charged us almost nothing because of the circumstances. Nicest guy ever, very knowledgable on cars, would recommend.
