And then there are the fries. My stomach is practically rumbling typing this. Freshly fried, crispy and golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served piping hot. They're genuinely hard to compare to anything else -- unique enough to stand on their own. If Chicken Guy sold only fries, I'd be a loyal regular. The chicken, though -- the whole reason for the name -- left me with questions. Hot and fresh, absolutely. But the interior had a wateriness that crossed from "juicy" into something that actually diluted the flavor. Combined with a sweet and sour sauce so thin it refused to cling to the tenders, the whole thing fell a little flat. I found myself wondering whether the chicken had been moisture-injected, because it tasted more hydrated than flavorful. In the Orlando heat that might technically be a feature -- but a good tender should be able to stand on its own before the sauce ever enters the picture. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there are a lot of choices to pick from on the menu. The interior is pretty large with a lot of seating areas both inside and outside. Inside is definitely preferred in the Florida heat. There are two drink stations with fountain sodas you can refill, but it's just standard Coke products and not a Coke freestyle machine. We had one order of the grilled strips and one order of the crispy strips. We also had the french fries, and we tried the bourbon BBQ sauce and the seasonal "korean spicy" sauce. The chicken strips were good. The grilled strips were a bit on the dry side, but they were a lighter choice versus the crispy ones. I appreciate that they have the grilled option for a lighter option. The fries had a light seasoning on them and were fairly standard french fries. We had heard that the sauces are the highlight here, and they were - OK. The bourbon sauce definitely had a punch of bourbon flavor, and the korean sauce definitely had that unique spicy korean flavor. After landing MCO, we decided to see what was open at Disney Springs for dinner. This was my first time eating here. The staff was partying, good vibes, looked like they were having a whole lot of fun, the music was going and the crew was singing along. There's a few sandwiches to choose from and then there's the strips, which is what's in the sandwiches. They have a couple of ways the chicken is prepared and spiced. We ordered 5 sandwiches and a couple of fries. It wasn't too busy as it was the middle of the week . People that ordered after us were getting their food before us. While I was standing there waiting, I noticed 1 employee was filling the French fry containers and another girl was filling the orders and taking the fries in order. So some of the fries were sitting there for a long time. It was a good 10-15 mins before our order was ready. I checked on the order a couple of times and got the "they're working on the sandwiches". That's a really long wait for fast food, Guy. The sandwich I got was ok, not bad, not great. Just your average chicken tender meal. The milkshake was very satisfying wasn't too thick but it wasn't thin either. Definitely used real ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't over do the Oreos. The service was prompt. It really was a fast food vibe. I ordered the original chicken. My daughter ordered the grilled cheese. My sandwich was good- I was surprised there were 2 pieces of chicken on the sandwich. Finding a table is typically difficult so I would suggest for someone else save a table while you order. RESTAURANT: There are seating both inside and outside. You first wait outside to be let in and while you wait in under the sun, there is a menu stand so that you can make your selections. Once inside you line up and place your order on one end of the counter and wait until your order is called on the end or until it's delivered to your table using your number. There are several soda machines inside that allows the customer to serve themselves and free up the staff to focus on orders. There are two indoor restroom that are on theme. Relieved to see it pretty tidy in there. No overflowing trash cans nor paper product on the floor considering how busy this place it. SERVICE: The atmosphere here is always chaotic. But the service during this visit..let's just say I was pleasantly surprised. As I watched everyone move around, it was like witnessing a well oiled-machine. There's someone at the door handling the line, 3 people taking orders, an army of people assembling/cooking food, and another set of people out in the dining area delivering food, cleaning tables, cleaning the soda machine area. The person that took my order gave me suggestions and the gentleman insisted on cleaning the table first before we got the chance to jumped on it before someone else take it. I was very impressed. Also, the interior is pretty small so it gives you breathing room when ordering/eating inside. We both got the 3-piece tender meal with sauces: BBQ, honey mustard, chipotle ranch and house sauce. They serve the food for you if you dine in-house. The tenders were super moist and crispy - more meat, less batter! The batter was almost panko which was awesome. I just want to start by saying that I will never eat at Chicken Guy! again. On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, my girlfriend, my sister, her friend, and I went to Chicken Guy! for lunch. I had eaten there a couple times before while on vacation and loved it, so I was excited to take them there. Biggest mistake of my life. We ate around noon and ordered three chicken sandwiches and a chicken strip meal. The food tasted great, and everything seemed fine. We went about the rest of our day as normal. Around 6:00 PM, we went to a different restaurant for dinner. Almost immediately after eating dinner, all four of us started experiencing severe stomach pain on the drive home. As soon as we got back, we all began vomiting. From approximately 7:00 PM Tuesday until 4:00 AM Wednesday morning, all four of us were throwing up every 10 minutes and dealing with severe diarrhea. My girlfriend and I became so dehydrated that our hands and legs started going numb. My mother, who is a nurse, ended up taking all four of us to the hospital. We received IV fluids and medication, which finally stopped the vomiting. However, our stomachs are still not back to normal, and I'm writing this on Friday afternoon, June 12. Chicken Guy was definitively responsible for making us sick. The fact that all four of us became ill within minutes of each other, while my parents cared for us throughout the entire ordeal and never became sick themselves, is enough evidence for me to believe that the illness came from the meal we ate there. I understand that this may have been a fluke situation, but it still happened, and it was a nightmare. It ruined the remaining days of our vacation and resulted in unexpected medical expenses. Gotta start this one off as a big thank you to Guy Fieri for creating Chicken Guy. Loved him on all of his tv shows and now I can go to eat some delicious food with his name and chicken personality all over the place. This is a fast-casual spot in Disney Springs and considering it is on Disney property, it is pretty affordable. I get that it's fast food but it's also a celebrity's spot so I was surprised. We ordered and then sat down while they brought us our food. I thought that was a nice touch! I was also surprised with how great the chicken was! I figured it being fast food was going to taste like the usual things you'd bring home from the frozen food section. But this chicken was freshly fried, cooked crispy on the outside, and full of flavor. They have 22 different sauces here which right away is pretty incredible. I usually use one or two sauces when I eat chicken and fries so 22 was a bit of an overwhelming choice. The fries are really good here too. They are seasoned and they are delicious. I would have to put the chicken sandwich at least in my top 10 if not top 5 of my favorite ones so far. The chicken is great but then bun and sauce really compliment it to bring it all together. Chicken Guy is coming to Wesley Chapel, FL. I decided to try it while at Disney Springs. The price point wasn't bad at under $10 for a two patty chicken patty with different toppings. I chose the Bourbon brown sugar chicken sandwich bc I like the flavor of Cole slaw with it. The other chicken sandwich we had was the pepperoni chicken parmesan sandwich. I knew this would be perfect for my hubby bc he loves chicken parm. Happy to say we each liked our chosen chicken sandwiches. If you don't like Cole slaw, maybe the bourbon chicken is not for you but to me it gave it more flavor and the chips made it extra crispy. I didn't love on the chicken parm bc it didn't feel as crispy to me. As for the fries, they are skinny like pencil shaped fries. They do have some seasoning on it but they are not my fave. Yes....a LINE, outside of the building, that when you wait in that, get to the front, they hand you a menu, then send you inside, where you get to wait in the INSIDE LINE to order. I circumvented this after hearing that you could online order. (NOT "mobile order" from the MyDisneyExperience app mind you...that isn't available, but you can scan a QR code at the entrance.) ALL I wanted was a grilled cheese sandwich for my picky eater, but a grilled cheese here is a hamburger bun, turned inside out, with a WISP of cheese essence placed betwixt.
