I had the quarter white. It was tender and juicy. Black beans and sweet potato. Delicious. My husband had the brisket sandwich but was not impressed. Our server was great and the ambiance was casual. This is a good place to eat.

Very good option for food in the area that was reasonable compared to what we have found in this area. The chicken was moist and the skin was the best part so include a little in the bigger pieces for flavor. The brisket had good flavor though not traditional smoke ring brisket. Peach cobbler was good but order the Texas size for a little more to get double the amount. Definitely would eat here again. Really no wait as you line order and brought out quickly so backnto the Orlando activities vs huge waits and wasted waiting. Good food, and fast.

I had received a coupon in the mail the night before and instantly wanted to come visit. Ronnald M and I met here for lunch and we both ordered the half chicken platter with two sides. It also came with a little sandwich bun. that was delicious. All the sides were really good and the chicken was excellent. The beans were a little spicy, but the sweet potato was delicious . They do a slow roast of two hours on the chickens. The whole place is really good vibes nice clean and pretty the concept cowboy translates in the music they play. Kim was an excellent server, super friendly and quick.

LOVED THIS!! It's a cross between BBQ and Mexican food, and it is quick service. It was delicious and they had great sauce options. The service was lovely. 10/10 experience. They have nice outdoor seating too.

Picked up cowboy chicken after a day at the parks and it was a perfect meal to take him! The flavors on the chicken were amazing! For our sides we picked Twice baked potatoes, Green Beans & Cowboy Slaw. My favorite was the slaw, it had incredible flavors and truly this meal did not disappoint. Service upon picking up was quick and helpful. The lady was able to get me a little of each sauce to try and i absolutely loved the hot sauce. Great place for a family dinner night.

We went here on a Saturday afternoon and I had high hopes for this place. I had really missed a place that had woodfired chicken back in Illinois so I was craving it the chicken. Let's start with the bad and then I will close with the good. 5 crispy legs BBQ-horrible, dry and I could not even chew them they were so hard. I figured the legs would also be woodfired, but by the taste. They were not. Chicken tenders and fries-best thing that we tried. Made fresh to order, were hot, crisp and the kids loved the seasoned fries. Okra was decent. Mac and cheese-Cheesy and good pasta but no flavor. Overall, I was disappointed since it was my meal, the chicken, that we end up throwing away. Maybe we would visit again if in the area, but only for chicken tenders.

Mocha Coconut, my spoiled pup gave this place 5 stars. My chicken was not as good as my husband's. His was way juicier and flavorful compared to mine. I ordered the quarter white and he ordered the half which is white and dark. My sides were Mac and cheese and twice baked potato and it also came with a roll that is soft and slightly sweet. Service was nice and friendly and enjoyed seeing Mocha Coconut loving on the chicken. He thought it was so good and juicy bc he had his Dad's chicken. He wanted more and I said no bc I didn't want him to get a tummy ache. Mocha Coconut huffed with an attitude bc it was so good and he wanted more. His face makes this all the better! This space is small inside. They do have what appears to be a bigger outside, by this time, the wind and cool temp came through.

I love this place. So much so that we went back twice in two days. The highlights are the food, of course, the staff, especially Phil, and the prices. The chicken, of all sorts, white, dark, tenders, is so moist, but also crunchy and delicious. They flavor is phenomenal, worth telling friends about. I cant imagine coming here and not ordering the chicken, it's too good to pass up. We also absolutely loved the elote (it is a bit spicy), the delicious and creamy mac and cheese, the super fresh green beans and the bread. The only "meh" thing we had was the mashed potatoes. They definitely are bad but not as awe inspiring as the other options. The beer prices are phenomenal: $4 regularly and $3 at happy hour. Can't beat it! On our second trip, we had one slightly disappointing experience, but not enough to change me overall opinion: the chicken tenders were kind of pathetic looking (still tasted AMAZING!) and the server, without being prompted, said they looked small and she would bring more. She never did. Again, not a big deal. But don't say it/make an offer, and then not follow through. Anyways, check this place out! So good!

Nice light meal that was enough for leftovers. The Tinga bowl was not spicy at all but very good. My daughter loved the macaroni cheese. The service took time as they were busy. Seating is available indoors and outdoors.

    Crispy Chicken Tenders

I was excited to give this place a try, but the tenders were inedible. The breading was doing its job, but underneath the chicken was black and gray. This level of quality is disturbing. I have reached out to the company, but have not heard back.

Very friendly awesome Order Counter; Thanks Daria! The chicken delicious. We also had the Cole slaw and the Mexican Corn. The half chicken order is a great value and plenty for two of us lunch.

I've been looking at this place at Margaritaville since they first opened, but this was my first opportunity to actually try their food. We were shopping next-door and walked over so I could get lunch. It smells really good inside and the menu board is up above the registers. As it was my first time here, I asked the person at the register what I might want to try. The go to item is the rotisserie chicken. She also spoke well of several other items on the menu and recommended a couple of side items that they enjoy. I considered the chicken and brisket but decided to just go with the chicken. I ordered the half rotisserie which comes with two sides. I decided on the french fries and coleslaw. I was getting the order to go and it was ready very quickly. I got some sauce with it, which was a barbecue and hot honey. I took my food home and made up a plate once there. The first thing I noticed is that the chicken itself was quite small. It was a reasonable size order of fries plus a roll. Coleslaw in a separate container and it's a good size portion. The chicken itself had OK flavor and was very greasy. The french fries were well seasoned and tasty. The cowboy coleslaw was really good with the chopped up, jalapeño in it. I didn't really like the sauce that I got but that's not a big deal. I ate about half the chicken and coleslaw And finish the french fries. I wrapped the rest up to have the next morning. The leftover chicken ended up being very dry and with very little flavor. The coleslaw is still excellent. I know chicken has gotten expensive these days, but I just didn't feel like this was worth what I paid for it. Next time I feel like rotisserie chicken, I will probably just get it at one of the local stores.

I was actually amazed on how delicious this spot was. BBQ with brisket , chicken , and just Texas based items is always amazing. I had to try their mixture of food items which included brisket, chicken , and some Mac and cheese. Delicious spot and my best comparison has to be competitor of mission BBQ and 4 Rivers. Great franchise and spot for all the customers and tourists in the area. I know after a long day at the water park, this is a spot to just munch down on some great southern food.

I walked into Slim Chickens with dangerous levels of optimism…read more Big mistake. Before going, I watched a video on their website where the founders were talking about how, when they came up with the concept, they noticed other chicken tender places in the South "weren't doing it right." Now, they didn't say Raising Cane's by name, but come on. We all know who they were side eyeing. And as lifelong Cane's lovers, that got my attention. Because if you're going to throw shade at Cane's, the food better come out swinging. It did not! It came out dry, bland, and exhausted, with a texture that somehow managed to be overcooked and underwhelming at the exact same time. I didn't know you could ruin a chicken tender. I thought chicken tenders were one of those foods with a built-in safety net. Apparently not. Slim Chickens found the trap door. Then came the sauces. I asked the cashier what sauces he recommended since it was our first time. His response was basically, "I don't really like the sauces." That should have been my cue to turn around and go find literally anything else to eat. I tried the Slim's Sauce, which he described as ketchup and mayo with some herbs. That description was unfortunately accurate. It tasted like someone tried to reverse-engineer a good chicken sauce from memory while trapped in a break room. It was flat, boring, and nowhere near the level of Cane's sauce or even KFC's sauces. The garlic toast was another crime scene. Thin, wrinkled, cold Texas toast that looked like it had been toasted earlier that morning and then left to think about its choices. Calling it "garlic bread" feels generous. Calling it "bread" was already a stretch. The fries were those fake "hand-cut" freezer-section fries with the skin left on, like they're trying to convince you somebody in the kitchen actually touched an actual potato that morning. They were hard, overcooked, and tasted like they had been holding on for dear life under a heat lamp since opening. Not rustic. Not fresh. Just sad fries wearing a costume. And the atmosphere? Weekday lunch in Celebration, and there were maybe two people eating inside. That should have told me everything. A chicken tender place at lunch should have some life to it. This felt like a franchise location already rehearsing its goodbye speech. The funniest part is Yelp has this place sitting around 4 stars, but when you actually scroll through the reviews, there's a suspicious little cluster of glowing 5-star posts from "Elite" Yelpers around the same time. Maybe they all just happened to have the best chicken experience of their lives in the same week. Maybe.... All I know is what we were served was nowhere close to 5 stars. It was barely close to lunch. If the founders really built this concept because they thought other chicken places were "doing it wrong," I have some bad news: Raising Cane's can sleep peacefully tonight. KFC too. Slim Chickens didn't reinvent chicken tenders. They reminded me how badly simple food can go when nobody in the building seems excited about it. With Cane's expanding all over the place, this location better figure something out fast. Because if this is the product, I don't see Celebration celebrating it for long. I'm giving two stars, and honestly, those stars goes to the cashier for telling me he doesn't really like the sauces. That was the most helpful and accurate thing served to me all day.
