I am leaving a four star review because I want to support new business in Cookeville and don't want to bring down their average, but our actual dining experience was less than that. To start, the service was quite slow, which I don't think is the fault of the waitress who was very kind and warm. We waited 15 minutes for drinks. A request for water went unfulfilled altogether. My friend ordered the nachos. The queso and pulled pork were cold -- not room temperature, but cold, as though they had just been pulled out of a fridge. I had the chopped ceasar salad, which was very good -- but be advised, or contains breadcrumbs, which are not listed on the menu. So even if you order the salad without croutons, as I did, it is not safe for those with a gluten sensitivity (like me) or Celiac unless you request no breadcrumbs as well. We ate our meals and then needed to hurry off to CPAC for a show, but the waitress did not come by our table after another 15 minutes, so we walked to the front and asked them to cash us out there. I love the WestSide and want this place to be successful, so I am offering this review to hopefully be constructive. I'd like to give it a second chance, but tonight was disappointing.
