The burger was good till I found a hair half way through. Would try again if they wear hair nets.

Chic pub with amazing vibe. Attentive service and friendly and fast. 9 iron…read moreSandwich was good. Generous portions of meat. Had a side of Brussel sprouts. Definitely recommend. Also had fish with side of sweet potato fries. Serviced crispy as requested. Fish was good but not "pub worthy". Have high expectations. Started with giant pretzel. Excellent app and cheese sauce with hint of jalapeño was great!

Food=average/meh Service=poor, but not rude…read moreAmbiance=not bad. Typical pub vibes Man, I really wanted this to be a good experience. We were excited based off some of the reviews and pictures, but ended up disappointed. I kept trying to find reasons to make the visit better, but everything just fell flat. For starters, the staff wasn't attentive at all. The hostess went to sit us outside as requested, because it looked so relaxing from walking up, upon entering the outside, many people were smoking (cigs, not vape). I'd don't mind if people smoke, but I don't want to eat a meal with it lingering around. We then went back inside and they sat us in the corner by the drink station/kitchen. Throughout the meal, the waitresses gossiped about their lives and their customers while the table next us a waitress was wrapping silverware. Our waitress didn't arrive for like ten minutes and then took forever to bring our drinks back. The vibes were just all off. Like they all wanted to get out of there and not be around each other. It wasn't even late. The food was average, nothing spectacular. We got a burger and the fish and chips. For a traditional pub, fish and chips should be one of the best things on the menu, less than par. The beer cheese soup was a highlight. Very good. We also ordered some type of pear cheeseburger. Different, but not bad. I'd try something else if I were to return. The decor is traditional pub meets modern hipster vibes. Hard to screw up. Although, limited beer options. Only 4 drafts for a pub is kinda weird. The good news is there's a brewery next door. Like I said, I was optimistic and excited. I don't give a lot of bad reviews but this one didn't hit the mark. Considering there are many other options within walking distance, I'd try something else if I were you.

Our server Rachel was quick to greet us, friendly, and helpful. Brick walls, wood block sculptures, and old black and white photos of the town serve as decor, making the place very welcoming. A couple rounds of local beers started us and then we were off in earnest. The fried pickle spears were just as perfect as we remembered. Huge, hot, sour, and delicious, served with dijonaisse dipping sauce. Everything we ordered was delicious and each person at the table thought theirs was best. A smoked ham, cheese, and fig sandwich... cheese quesadillas... pork belly sliders... steak and mushroom wrap... all great. Our only disappointment was the gumbo. It tasted more like a bland bean soup. No seafood flavor and non existent seasonings, but even that wasn't enough to bring this place down. We cannot recommend highly enough!

Arrived mid afternoon and only 2 booths filled. We've eaten here many times before it closed. It…read morehad only reopened a week ago. Our server was great; one of the most friendly I've ever had. Sadly, that's about the only thing good I can say. It took 20-25 minutes for food to come out (and the restaurant was almost empty ??? why so long? ). The taco wrap was just plain pathetic. They need to hire someone who know how to prepare hispanic/Mex food. It was cold, cheese wasn't melted, and no seasonings. Just sad. Fried green tomatoes were greasy with a strange texture. Wife's meal was OK but nothing special. Sorry SS, go back to what was tried and true before you closed.
