I can't say enough good things about this place!! We have been coming here for our state vehicle…read moreinspections for a couple of years and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! The business is run by a husband and wife team; they're some of the nicest people you could ever meet and run a great business. They're everything you would hope to find in a car repair shop- quick, knowledgeable, professional, and very kind. We came in yesterday (without an appointment!), and they were able to fit us in for an inspection after a brief 15 minute wait. Having brought our kids with us, we were directed to the small, tidy waiting area where we were offered to help ourselves to drinks in the mini fridge or a hot coffee. They even had juice boxes for our kids and light snacks were available as well! The co-owner/wife, Lori, went well out of her way to make sure my kids (especially our adventurous 2 year old) were entertained during our wait and provided him things like a flashlight and a calculator to play with, in addition to the toys and coloring books they offer in their waiting room. She is so extremely nice!! They completed our inspection in a timely manner and got us out the door quickly. I would recommend this shop to anyone on the NH/MA border for your inspections and car repair needs. Great business, great people.

I would rate a zero if I could. I am new to the area and thought - wow here is a shop with some…read moregood reveiws. My 2013 Subaru Impreza needs a new transmission. Rick said that he could make that happen. He found a transmission after some searching in Conneticut with 55k on it. WoW! That is great. He got the transmission, which he had to travel to get - and I paid for that time, brought it back to his shop and replaced the bad one. I am driving to work on a Friday morning with my new/used transmission and --- nope, something is not right. Pulled off the highway as the car felt like it downshifted with cruise control on. Got back to Ground Zero and spoke with Rick - Oh let me get it and see what is up. Turns out the new/used transmission - no good. OK, so another new/used transmission is searched out, picked up and installed. Today, a MONTH after the initial issue, my car is fixed (fingers crossed). Here is the kicker - I was charged an additional 600 dollars! For what?! I paid Ground Zero for a transmission, that they purchased - not me - from wherever that came from (with a markup I'm sure), and for the labor involved in getting it installed. I spoke with Lisa, who does the billing, and I was charged for some of the labor and parts required to install the second transmission!? Wait --- what? Yes, I had to pay additionally to have work done that I already paid for. Who does this? Hello, yes I would like to get a new tv. Sure. Here is the money. Thank you. Oh TV does not work - bring it back - get a new TV - wait, you have to pay for part of the second TV?!?! Here's why - I did not purchase the "labor warranty". Labor warranty? You don't guaruntee your work? Apparently not with used parts but WAIT - I bought the part from YOU Ground Zero - I did not bring in a part for you to install. Lisa says, "that's a risk you (meaning me) take when buying used parts". I DID NOT BUY IT - YOU DID! Worst experience I have ever had with any mechanic EVER! Be careful - labor warranty. Also, anytime they have a used part installed. I will never be going back to Ground Zero and I would recommend you do not either. Good luck Ground Zero Auto Repairs.

Friendly and good service. No b.s.about replacing parts you don't need. Highly recommended!read more
