I went to this place because of the reviews and pictures I saw here on yelp. Unfortunately, I will not be back to this place at all. The staff was friendly, and after seeing the design I wanted (polish and rhinestones on one nail on each hand) they said they could do it. Well, my nails look horrible. She struggled putting on the rhinestones and it looks like she just threw it on there. You can also see the glue all over and under nails and spots of nail polish on my hands. This was the sloppiest nail job I've ever had done. She also kept telling me how uneven my eyebrows were, which actually weren't, but I agreed to let her do them. She basically waxed most of my eyebrows off and now I'll have to draw the on until they grow back. My eyebrows were thick now they are thin. She took off nearly half my eyebrows. I showed her a picture for my nails before even sitting down. She assured me she could achieve the look... Not so. I love this place! I've been here twice now. Both times on a Saturday, during a busy time of the day, and despite all that, they still were able to assist me immediately as a walk in. Both times, I've gotten a gel manicure and a pedicure. I've had two different nail techs and both have been very pleasant to work with. I love how they have already picked out a selection of gel polishes that have a matching color in regular polish. I don't require my nail colors to match, but it is a very nice bonus to have this so conveniently available without having to figure it out myself. I have very calloused feet and opted for the callous removal the first time and then the deluxe pedicure the second time. My feet look much much better now! Perfect for summer sandal weather. I also had some nail art done on my toes and it looks awesome! My first gel manicure lasted 3 weeks! I am only a few days into this second one, but it is holding up well also. One thing that really wows me about this salon is the level of personal attention you receive. Everyone there is very friendly. This most recent visit, the nail tech asked if I would also like a brow wax and I am so glad I said yes. They did an absolutely amazing job! I don't think I've had an eyebrow wax make me look THIS good in years. I'm truly very impressed. I used to get this done at my hair salon, but I know where I will be getting it done now. This shop is also very honest and courteous to their customers. On my last nail visit, I had lost a ring that was very special to me while there. They took down my name and number to call me back when they found it. A few days later, they did find it! It had just fallen between some of the spa chairs. They reached out to me as they said they would and I am happily reunited with a very special family heirloom. Thanks! A few days before my appointment with Donny (whose work is amazing) I decided to send a reminder text and he begins to say he's created a page on style seat and for me to book on the site. I reminded him that I booked before he even created this page so it would be unfair but I went ahead and did what he asked. When I arrived he rushed through my nails but they still came out pretty nice. I decided to go back to him and this time my experience was horrible. I showed up and waited 30 minutes before he addressed me. No "hello" or "I'm sorry but I'm still working on a client" he disregarded me. He began doing my nails and noticed my quietness because I was upset and decided to gossip about another client in the salon. I guess he thought by making casual conversation it would make him being late any better. He did my fill in 30 minutes and it was clear he was rushing but my biggest complaint is the unprofessionalism. I still tipped him and told him he should be courteous to his clients and send out a text when he is running behind because clients would do the same. Instead of apologizing he says nothing! I will not be going back to the shop because I cannot take unprofessionalism when I'm paying for a service. DO NOT GO TO DONNY. Side note: the salon is in the front entrance of Walmart so during cold days you will definitely feel the breeze. It's also dirty and unkept. read more

If there was an option for "0 stars" I would give it. Been dealing with the manager, Donny. He told me to come in the next day to "reshape" and "color" since he's booked until Tuesday for the designs I originally asked for. I said sure. I came in got a painted and reshaped. It was still just as dirty as it was before. Nail techs don't wash their hands between clients or try to do two people at once. I sat with a girl to get my nails dry in a dark cramped corner and we began talking. I told her about what happened she told me she saw the nail tech trying to stretch old polish with acetone til the point it was streaking. I showed her what happened to my nails and she died laughing lol. She told me i was a fool for even paying them. I know I was now. She also told me that they cut her foot after she got her toes done so she wouldn't be coming back either. So when I left Donny said I will have to pay for the designs again ON TUESDAY. AGAIN? How did I get them the first time? All I got was a polish change and reshape, hardly $60 worth of service. He got upset after me telling him it's not worth what I paid. THEN HE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME NOT TO COME BACK AFTER SEEING MY FIRST REVIEW. He asked me why did I want to come back I told him to get my money's worth and still didn't understand. Worse business ever. No McDonalds, DMV, gas station customer service can compare to the horrible service I witnessed here. They probably do good work but I will never know. I went in there as a walk in for a fill and boy am I disappointed. First of all, the tech I got was definitely in a rush to get me out, she didn't even ask me what shape I wanted, didn't ask me what length or anything. I was waiting for her to ask but she never did until I saw she was going to apply the polish and that's when I told her I need her to shape my nail I asked for coffin and I wanted it to be dramatic and she just didn't wanna keep filing I guess. Anyways my left and right hand look COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! And the polish application was horrible I have a glob of polish just chillin on my left thumb. Also she made me bleed and I did not see her disinfect the machine she was using!! I do not recommend this place unless you're seeing Donny (I should've just waited to schedule an appointment with him but I desperately needed a fill like now) she did not even ask me if I was happy with my nails or anything jus told me how much I owed her and that was it. I've lived near the Walmart this nail salon is located in for years but never wanted to visit since I've never liked that particular Walmart and figured the service there would be just as subpar a.k.a. "ratchet". Based on the mostly stellar reviews I wanted to give this place a try but boyyyyy was I spot on. SMH! As soon as I walk in, around 6ish, the person who I have to assume is the owner asks me "What do you want?!" No hi, no hello, just a harsh demanding tone. I tell her I want a pedicure and she points and tells me to pick a color. Now I will admit I am particular and, at times, indecisive but if you're providing a SERVICE, you should always take that opportunity to dazzle your customers with your expertise on recommendations and such. Instead she hassles me to pick a color and sticks a card of terrible looking nail designs in my face for me to choose. Strike 1. All that aside, I finally make a decision and am taken care of by one of her workers who tries to coax me into purchasing additional services ("you want eyebrow? how about gel?! gel will last longer?!!!") After I decline each offer she hands me a laminated sheet of their services. Perhaps she's hard of hearing but I neither requested it nor did I agree to any additional services. That was strike 2 for me. Then I do not see her at any point sanitize any of the tools she eventually uses to trim my toe nails/cuticles and I have to assume they have nothing but dirty towels for her to have used the one she used on my feet. She rushed through the cleaning/trimming process and her idea of a massage was to clasp her hands and pound my feet and shins....it was ridiculous, almost laughable if I wasn't paying for it. Then she proceeds to clean the used tools in the filthy water my feet soaked in. STRIKE 3! I chose a simple design that she obviously struggled with due to the multiple attempts, I even had to clarify that I wanted the designs on both big toes to look similar...which she grudgingly agreed to do. Then she points me in the direction to dry my polish and not 1 minute later does she return, hit my shoulder, and say "YOU PAY NOW," proceeds to stand there, hands on hips, waiting for me to hand her my card. Then she has the NERVE to ask for my pin code!!! I politely decline to give her that information (wasn't born yesterday hun) and instead walk to the register to pay. STRIKE 4!!! I attempt to go back to dry my toes as they begin to pull their gate when the owner stops me as asks if I want $3 slippers, I decline and take their blatant disrespect as a sign that I should leave. So I pack my things and go. The last strike I could tolerate. I could've raised hell but I determined their lack of respect for their customers was well seasoned and perhaps my youthful appearance gave them the impression they could take me for a ride. So I didn't but take this yelp review as fair warning, I cannot make this kind of stuff up! If you're wondering, no I did not tip. You may be also thinking they may have rushed me because they were near closing, nope, I left around 7 o'clock, they still had 1 hour to close, and I was they ONLY customer they had. The second time I went to Donny, I had an appointment and still had to wait 15 minutes to be seen. Once it was my turn, Donny informed me that he would be working back and forth and doing my nails in addition to someone else's, which I think is inconsiderate to the customer because he rushed doing my nails. Also, he was complaining about another customer to me ( a customer), which I found very unprofessional and distasteful. i got a new full clear gel set with gel pedicure for which i paid over a $120...they actually do a good job on design, shape and color but the reason this place got one star is because of the quality of material used...i had 4 nails completely coming off within the 1st week...and every time i came back i was charged $8 per nail to be fixed...which is representative of very bad customer service....I've had acrylics for the past 10years and have never had this issue before. sorry to say i won't be coming back.... read more

I had been going to Donny for a few months and all went well. But this last time was the last straw. It was for NYE and I wanted a gel overlay mani and a regular pedi. The woman who did my pedi was terrible. My toes just looked like I had a polish change let alone a full pedi. Donny rushed through my nails and they looked horrible and uneven. When I told him that they were uneven and werent coffin shape he had an attitude and filed them but filed the nail polish off the sides and didnt over a repolish. Never again. Ladies beware. I rate this nail salon a 2 because their customer service is very poor. They treat their customers with little to no respect. This nail salon is located inside a Walmart that is considered "ghetto". I'm a Veteran with a bachelor's and master's degree; however, I go there often because of its location. Beware, there is only one nail technician that understands English well. Please be prepared to have a debate over what you want. If you're the type to inquire about services, brace yourself for the most frustrated response. Not much to say except if you ever decide to go here, PLEASE go to either Donny or Leon! you'll be very pleased. I've yet to experience an exceptional job done going to any of the ladies who work there - one is rough when using the automatic buffer resulting in my nail bed burning, the other is not precise when it comes to applying the nail polish - she'll have it all over your cuticle and on your finger by the time she's done and one will have the acrylic dried on lumpy. read more
