Y'all... I thought I had found my new nail shop at The Nail Shop. The environment is exactly my vibe--muted gray tones, minimalist decor, subway tiles, modern finishes, soft music playing in the background, and plenty of parking right out front. The place is clean, relaxing, and has an impressive selection of colors. The massage chairs were so comfortable I was literally drifting off to sleep. The prices were also cheaper than other salons I've visited for the exact same services, and it wasn't overcrowded. Walking in, I was ready to give this place 5 stars. Then the service happened. I arrived at 12:30 PM and didn't leave until 4:30 PM. FOUR HOURS. For a pedicure, nail removal, full-set of new Gel-X nails (no designs and nothing fancy). I understand Gel-X removal can take some time, but my pedicure alone should not have taken over 2.5 hours. The first technician was fine until it came time to paint my toenails. The polish application was honestly terrible. My toes looked like little stubs. Of course I spoke up, and thankfully I requested Pin, who had excellent Yelp reviews. She ended up fixing the work and did a much better job. There were also some organizational issues. I wanted my eyebrows waxed, but apparently someone forgot to plug in the wax machine, so the wax was still cold and hardened. How does that happen? Another thing: if you're going to keep clients for four hours, please offer something. Water, snacks, crackers--anything! I was absolutely hangry by the end of my appointment. The only reason I was finally offered water was because I was coughing from a cold, and that was toward the very end of my service. Overall, the salon itself is beautiful and relaxing, but the actual service experience didn't match the aesthetic. If you decide to visit, I'd strongly recommend booking with Pin or the owner. They seem to be the ones ensuring the work is done correctly. Would I come back? Maybe. The potential is definitely there, but they need to tighten up the service side of things. read more

My first time here, the shop is clean and quiet, Pin did my nails, dip for my hands and gel for my toes. She was very meticulous with my pedicure and while there was a slight language barrier, the owner Kim was able to step in so we agreed on doing a dip for my manicure which turned out great. Overall a good experience, I will recommend this shop for sure. read more

I stopped in about 1.5 hours before close on a whim, and I'm glad I did. I was the only one there, the place is super clean, cute decorations, and very quiet. I got a gel mani and gel pedi. They have a ton of colors and good quality polishes. Pin did my nails and she was meticulous with the prep work and polishing, and very friendly. She put in WORK on my callouses. Clean and professional shop with ample parking! I was looking for a new pedicure spot and saw this on Yelp. Not many reviews, but it was positive, and I was sold. It's a full service nail salon. So far, I've been twice. Kim does a great gel pedi. She's very nice and patient. They have plenty of polish colors. I like that, but then it's hard to pick. Prices are good. Can pay with card or cash. I would recommend calling ahead and making an appointment. I can see this being my regular shop for my pedicures. read more

Exceptionally clean nail salon. The staff cleans seat before and after your service. I came in for a pedicure my service provider name sounds like "Maryland" i would highly recommend her. She was detailed for my entire service and friendly. Listened and followed all request. Would come back for her alone but the cleanliness draws you in as well. Ample parking. Pin was excellent and meticulous with my nails. Going back to reshape and file multiple times to be sure she got the rounded square shape perfectly. She was very detailed being sure to remove any polish that touched my skin and cut my cuticles with very quickly but tenderly with no pain at all. She moved at the speed of light and got me in and out in 40 minutes flat during my lunch break. I will absolutely return again for service. read more

I visited this place after 5pm. There was lady and she told me to come back in 30 minutes. I did and got a regular pedicure. Place it's somewhat new, tech told me they have been here close to a year. The area is very clean, the chairs and massage options and new and work amazingly. Plastic liners are use between customers and the area is cleaned after each patron. I apologize, can't remember the nail tech's name. She was very meticulous and made the service even more pleasant. I could definitely see myself coming here to give another service a try. I stopped in Friday night maybe an hour or two before closing. There was three ladies there and all of them weee so kind and welcoming. My gel mani and pedi came out perfect. Literally the best pedicure I've had in my adult life. The polish was perfect and never chipped, lasted so long. They have a lot of polish colors and don't rush even when you show up kinda late. There were at least four or five people that came an hour before closing. Never turned anyone and took their time. There's lots of parking too. Super clean! Even though there's not a lot of reviews definitely give them a chance. (Literally can't get over how thorough my pedicure was. It wasn't like the shops that take tops 20 mins and half ass it. I went in on a Wednesday afternoon around 3:00 pm. There was no one who could understand what I was asking for in the shop. There were two very loud children running around playing with a huge plastic dinosaur that would emit periodic roaring noises. The children were all over the shop, crawling around the manicure tables. I go to have my nails done and relax, not listen to someone else's kids running around and yelling. I gave two stars instead of one because it was a reasonable manicure, not good, but acceptable. read more
