Lovely store ! Has a "family business personality " you can tell everyone working there are all in sync with each other . Very comfortable place to browse. I went in today just to look , didn't expect to buy but I did, very reasonable . Before moving to Florida one year ago, I worked 10 years for Michael's Jewelers, an upscale Jewelry store (10 locations in Connecticut) so I just thought I'd look around and I ended up getting something. So I walked into this jewelry store and had a good amount of gold that I was willing to sell. I was also interested in a very thin gold necklace. The man or owner was pricing the gold for me came up with the most absurd offer ! His necklace was priced at 2k and my gold that I brought was priced at 1500?! Mind you I've searched around and everyone gave me up to 6k (I had 3 gold bracelets with diamonds one was 18 karat gold. The other one was 21 karat gold and 2 gold necklaces that were 14 karat gold, the guy was so unrealistic, and probably saw a woman come in and took advantage, this place is not a good reputable jewelry store so sad ! The Man who priced me these ridiculous numbers had glasses and he was bald don't know his name but he couldn't even look at me when he gave me the price! The lady who worked there even looked very shocked when he offered me such a low amount, the jewelry he has in the store isn't even new it's used and horribly priced. read more

Treated so very well, as if I were buying multiple expensive items. My bill was only $25, probably the lowest of the week. I had broken a clasp on a necklace and brought it to another jeweler in Boca for repair. They wanted to charge $35 for the repair. I then brought the same necklace to David Barry Jewelers. They fixed it on the spot and did not charge me! I'll definitely go back to them. They were honest and accommodating. read more

Absolutely the best jeweler. Beautiful store with a large selection and top notch customer service. I brought in my pave eternity wedding band which had gotten to small on me due to a medical condition. I had been told by another jeweler nothing could be done. Steve is the most honest and sincere jeweler around. They have satisfied all of my jewelry needs include remaking and remodeling anything I bring to them. Their sales staff are fantastic. Terrible experience with them today. My wife and I brought her Rolex in for an overhaul 5 months ago and paid $600. We were told that they don't repair Rolex on premises. It's sent to authorized repair. Fine. Watch comes back. Fogs up after first shower. Take it back, They send it out again. Comes back. Fogs up again. Take it back, They send it out again. Comes back. Still fogs up. They send it out again. Comes back. She wears it for a week. Now it doesn't keep proper time. Now they have the nerve to want to charge an additional $150, saying it's our fault...that it was dropped. It was never dropped. Very easy for them to place the blame on us. They, or their repair service, should have given the customer the benefit of the doubt and made good on this repair. Took the watch back and left. After 5 months and $600, right back where we started. read more

Brought in a beautiful diamond ring that I had designed at another jeweler. Told my delightful sales lady that from the get-go I've not liked the ring as it is in every jewelry store, every magazine, etc. it was to be an original design and it was not. My sales lady along with the owner worked with me on how the new design should look, how it would be completely different, very classic, as there were many stones to work with. Of course I was nervous since the ring was originally my mom's and when she gave it to me, I had it redesigned in a modern setting. The disappointment from the other jewelry store that designed the ring made me Leary of having another original. Three weeks later The ring was ready and the design is outstanding....I could not believe the difference in appearance, how the clarity of the many stones appeared, the feeling of having such a magnificent piece of jewelry on my finger. I have compliments whenever I wear it. It's perfect. Thank you Steve for your advice, honesty, and for this magnificent ring. A friend of mine went into David Barry Jewelers in Boynton Beach today to buy a battery for his watch. It was only a $5 purchase. He presented his debit card and the clerk said it was declined. Then my friend tried to give Mr. Barry cash for the purchase. He told my friend to get out of his store and grabbed the battery. When my friend returned home, he found that his debit card had been charged the $5 + tax for the battery. When he returned to the Jewelers, Mr. Barry would not acknowledge that my friend had paid for the battery that was charged to him OR that he never received the merchandise. In the meantime, the PayPal receipt shows that the battery was charged by David Barry Jewelers. I would never recommend this store to anyone. Mr. Barry's rudeness and unprofessional behavior has no place in a retail establishment. read more

Boy is this place welcoming, friendly, not pushy. They have gorgeous jewelry and they are such hamisha people. They welcomed my dogs even LOL. They fixed my watch and were just so lovely to deal with. If ever I want bling, this is going to be my place!!!!. None the less, I want to write this review because David Barry Jewelers did such an amazing job for me! I was in last week to select our engagement ring for my fiancee. I worked with Steve over the course of two days, and we picked out the setting, the diamond, and the wedding band as well. Our choice was an emerald cut diamond, which is harder to find because of the current popularity of round and princess cuts. Within 12 hours Steve brought in five emerald cut diamonds, all at the weight that I wanted with varying cut and color grades for me to choose between. There was no pressure at all, and he truly helped me select an amazing ring for my fiancee, which was confirmed again on Saturday night when I proposed and she said yes! I visited David Barry Jewelers last week, and must say it was nothing but a joyous experience! I was looking to get my wife something for our anniversary. From the start the sales woman offered me something to drink and showed me various options. She was most helpful and patient with me, I believe her name was Caren. She had one of the jewelers give a nice polish to the two pieces I purchased and packed them nicely in a box and bag. The entire staff treated me VIP, first class all the way! Highly recommend. and the cherry on top of it all is the owner i believe he was the owner, inspected the two pieces before they were packaged, and wished me well and thanked me for the business! They have absolutely gorgeous pieces in stock and the "estate" case is always filled with lovely and interesting "goodies". Steve has designed pieces for me and I have purchased pieces that he had previously designed. While he is certainly in business to make money, I have always found him to be fair.
