EVERY staff member was extremely welcoming and personable. My hygienist was super sweet, engaged in fun conversation, and was very gentle with the cleaning (a nice change from my previous dentist office haha). I feel really lucky to have found such an awesome dentist so close to home! Second Street is location in the perfect spot in downtown St. Charles. I have had nothing but pleasant and easy cleanings. When I have needed to get cavities filled the team has ensured I am comfortable and not in pain. They even provide dental cleanings for young kids. I have 2 kids (5 and almost 3) who have gone and the team does really well with them to try and keep them entertained (put on a show while they are cleaning) as well as incentivize them with prizes afterwards.

Calls and messages are poorly documented and you can expect to waste a lot of both time in the office and on follow-up calls after hours that don't resolve anything. Billing errors on their end were ignored, and when concerns are raised, they are minimized rather than addressed. The front desk made scheduling, communication, and payments unnecessarily stressful, and there is no way to avoid interacting with Christina. I cannot recommend this office. If you value your time and sanity, it's better to find a dental practice with staff who are trained, organized, and willing to take responsibility.

She began by telling me that she does not like doing dentures. She stated she preferred implants, that dentures ruin the existing bone in your jaw and will result in tota bone loss. I did some research and found this not to be true. She may be a technically phenomenal dentist, I am not returning to find out. They have a 3rd party contact you to get information and make sure you have the ability to finance. not a problem. They then charge you .50 to reserve your consolation. no problem. It also gives you a $500 gift card towards services. cool. I even went as fr as to get my co-signer to show proof of credit and got approved for that as well. So I was scheduled for Thursday December 12. I then get a call from Dina in the office. She starts to tell me that i have to pay $50 for my free consultation. Umm no. She then tells me they are going t cost me around $90K umm that's $30k more then the highest estimate I have EVER gotten and 30K more then your own third party is telling people. She says he will ave to get back to me. That was on 12/10. It is now 4pm on 12/11 and Dina calls me to tell me they don't allow co-signers. Which is absolute crap and a lie. ALL financing companies allow co-signers. especially ones with good credit and income. So apparently Dina thinks im an idiot. Then she goes "Well when i told yo the cost it didnt seem like you were going to be able to afford it." So apparently Dina is an expert at knowing what people can and cant afford based off of one phone conversation where i said 6 words. Do not waste your time with this place. A bunch of liars and apparently snobby people who think they can decide what people can and cant afford. Lost a $60K mouth. Horrible place.. even better i got a confirmation text and email right after they canceled my appointment on me. It says if i don't show i get charged $97. So if i get charged we will have even more problems.

She was so kind and helpful and scheduled me for an 8am appointment the very next morning (a Saturday nonetheless). I saw Dr. Capper, who was not only clearly knowledgeable and skilled, but also a truly friendly and kind person. His dental assistant, Linda, was lovely as well.
