He takes a lot of time talking to you and understanding your concerns. He's available anytime you need him. And he offers a wealth of knowledge to treat and be proactive and treating any issues. Well worth the additional cost for concierge service. No lines or waiting rooms of sick people. When I got there I was checked in in under 30 seconds. The doctor took me back within five minutes and she listened to my issue, examined me, took some tests and determined what was wrong. Dr. Guansing spent about 20 minutes with me, no rushing, figured out the issue and sent me on my way. My experiences with One Medical are always like this and it was the same at the Bethesda and Pike and Rose facilities also.

But the staff (especially the lab staff) is excellent and you can expect a similar experience as other offices.

It's also one of the OneMedical offices with a pediatric practice. So why only 3 stars? The lab, especially on weekends, is a calamity. One time my wife had to wait *an hour* to do a simple lab test. Another time it was an unnecessary wait and hassle just to pick something up from the lab. Honestly, if you anticipate needing lab work on a weekend, you may want to consider another location unless you're out of choices. I'm not sure what's going on as neither of us has ever waited more than a few minutes for the lab at any other location. I shudder to think what it would be like if you had to wait an hour with your sick child. With that caveat, if you don't need lab work on a weekend, I wouldn't hesitate to go to this OneMedical location and expect their usual high quality of service and care.

In general, I like the integration of the app & telehealth with the office and the idea of a more personalized focus on primary care that One Medical provides. Specifically, I like this location where the staff are all very nice and welcoming. It seems like the staff really care about improving health and "taking care" of you. I tried out the Chevy Chase location last year and had a bad experience with a shockingly rude doctor that surprised me. If I went into detail about what happened there, you would be appalled. I've been to the Bethesda location a lot and they have been great every time. If I had only experienced the Chevy Chase location, I would have quit this program but I've been consistently happy with Bethesda. I haven't tried other locations but the model is that they are a different experience than your average primary care medical office. They are very prompt, stylish and offer the choice between in-person services and telehealth. Prior to One Medical, I had a less than stellar experience with a primary care doctor in a different system. When I say that I've been consistently happy with this Bethesda office, I don't say that lightly. It is pleasant and convenient.

Up front, I will say that the dental hygienist, Lori does a great job. I would say that the two dentists are also good and caring. So why the terrible rating? First, expect to wait forever for your visit. They are never on time. I have had to wait upwards of an hour. The best option is to get in there for the first appointment and hope they show up on time. Second, you have to pay attention to the billing. They make mistakes all the time. I have had to call in and get corrections on several occasions. Third and final, they cancel appointments all the time. I have no clue what is going on with the office and the dentist but the constant rescheduling is terrible. I am currently is search of another dentist office as I can no longer deal with the mess. Which is sad, because as I said the doctors and hygienist are good people. But the office is clearly not well run.

The practice puts pressure to schedule a full, one-hour follow up (for $300) just to have simple questions answered about medicine they've prescribed - even though I had already paid for a follow-up just to receive the results of lab testing. I am not sure what is going on with this practice lately, but as a patient who has seen this doctor for years, feeling like you can't have some simple follow-up as a course of care is concerning - and feels unethical. The emphasis here is now on maximizing revenue and not patient care. I'll be looking for a new practice.

So tell me again, why do you recommend surgery STAT to create potential more scar tissue with no guarantee of any satisfactory outcome? I would NOT recommend her to any living human being. SHe was abrupt and saw only one image: the MRI. not the person.

Once she expedited a prescription for me cause I was going out of town. I've even recommended her to a friend, who now uses her and loves her. She's blunt and straightforward, as I feel a doctor should be. But, she completely makes me feel comfortable, and she is very down to earth.
