He thinks he is a psychologist. Pretty much told me I scratched my psoriasis because I like to hurt myself. Will never go back to him again.

After more than a decade of being misdiagnosed with conditions including Seronegative Rheumatoid…read moreArthritis, Lupus, and Psoriatic Arthritis by multiple specialists, I had nearly lost hope of ever getting real answers. I spent years going from doctor to doctor, enduring endless referrals, invasive testing, and medication trials -- many of which caused serious side effects and even permanent damage to my immune system and other organs. Everything changed when I met Dr. Horwich. After just one consultation, he listened carefully, took my concerns seriously, and performed a biopsy that finally revealed the true diagnosis: a rare variant of Granuloma Annulare. Within only three visits and a series of intralesional steroid injections, my pain and symptoms dramatically improved. For the first time in years, I finally feel like I have my life back. Dr. Horwich's knowledge, thoroughness, and willingness to look beyond the obvious completely changed the course of my health. He succeeded where countless other providers failed, and I will forever be grateful for his compassion, expertise, and persistence in finding the correct diagnosis and treatment. I cannot recommend Dr. Horwich highly enough.

NO AIR CONDITIONING FOR THE PATIENTS IN THE WAITING ROOM - WHICH IS TOTALLY OK WITH THEM, BUT…read morePLENTY IN ALL THE OFFICES. I thought PA Blair was a female, found out at the last minute, he wasn't. I had waited almost a year for this appointment, and I had a concerning growth on my forehead for about 6 mos. at that point, I have had skin cancer in the past so I knew I needed to go through with this apppointment. I also have sexual abuse history - which they never asked about - but I believe all dermatology offices should. Anyway, was NOT a good experience, he was NOT a good experience. I'd stay away from him if you are female. I have filed a formal complaint dt the nature of the circumstances due to them refusing to do anything about it after I brought it to a female doctor's attention and the office manager.

Frustrating customer experience. Potential racism. Absolutely treated me like a fool…read more Their messaging/call center is obtuse and frustrating. I've had to repeat that my insurance will not approve a medication the office provided several times and only gotten it resolved by going directly to an office to speak with a staff member. The Port Jervis location in NY has a receptionist who gives me (a person of color) dirty looks each time I go there. Even asking for the wi-fi password they did not seem to appreciate that I was speaking to them. Today I went to follow up because I had to get bloodwork submitted to them in order to try Accutane. They were supposed to call me but I had no messages from them. Turns out they called me "a million times" according to the acting physician and because they need "consistent follow-up" they decided I am not a good fit for Accutane. Mind, I'm not on it nor was it ordered. I apologized because I'd been having phone issues and asked to just update my contact info. They repeated what they'd said and when I said "okay" they turned around and left. I did the same. No asking me if I would like a follow-up appointment, no further elaboration. "Yeah so we asked you to do bloodwork and we were going to call you to confirm when we received it, we called you a million times including your emergency numbers and you didn't respond, so we feel you are not a good fit, we're not going to do anything about it have a good day no we don't care that you're sorry." I was on Azelaic Acid and Trentinoin for a while. They gave me a month supply which was a single tube. I had to go to 2 visits for them to agree that my skin damage was too extensive for one tube a month. I spoke with an older doctor who saw the damage and said "yeah, you need more than Acid/Trentinoin." Completely invalidated what the last 3 doctors said. Every doctor I spoke to after him gave me a side-eye like I wasn't supposed to know that.
