We showed up about 15m before they closed on a Friday night. Walked in, about 4 women on staff. No one greeted us. Walked around trying to comprehend what we were looking at for about 5 minutes. I knew they were closing soon so I went up to a tall lady with curly hair and asked her to explain to me what was native and what wasn't . We wanted to buy local it was like I was bugging her. She was condescending, just bad... I can dish it out too lady. So the backhand comments start, then she walked away and started talking bad about us to another lady. I truely don't understand when retail shops hire people with zero customer service habits. Spent 60.00 on some crap and left. Yup, we are tourists, but people like that lady took money out of the mouths of local artist that probably deserve a lot better. Side note before we left i made it clear we came to spend money to a blonde (very nice lady and possibly a native lady) both did a fantastic job and tried to break down what all the local artist items were but by that time it was closing time. They asked us to come back today at 10am but unfortunately our flight leaves at that time. Or we would have come back and bought 1k plus of gifts for our family. It's your business, do as you please. But when out of towners come and want to support local I'd imagine it's your bread and butter? Best of luck . Oh, your store had an amazing inventory, we should have got there earlier to spend more time and understand the culture.

Bamboo, acrylic and cotton rugs; just to name a few. We already have one picked for our new home, should we ever buy one. I can't believe we spent an hour browsing through all the different patterns, textures and colours. I caught myself several times imagining myself on a magic flying carpet, just like in the movies. My wife was totally taken in by the furs. So soft and luxurious and out of our budget, for now! The store also boasts lamps and other Turkish gifts that are gorgeous beyond description.
