Hopefully she is just a receptionist and not a healthcare worker because there is no integrity. I asked for my xrays and getting my procedure somewhere else. I was then scheduled for the extraction today. Yesterday, I received a call asking if I could reschedule for an hour earlier. However, I was also informed about an outstanding balance on my account, which I was asked to pay when I came in. This is the first time I'm hearing about this. I was told 9 months ago my insurance would cover everything. The past due balance is apparently for an exam and X-ray. It's baffling that a clinic like this is unaware that my Arizona State Insurance, AHCCCS, does not cover exams or x-rays. Then, the office manager, Darcy Laurel, came out and quickly exacerbated the situation. I felt she was rude and belittling, aggressively debating the issue with me and my inability to pay today. She disappeared to the back for an extended period and then informed me that the doctor decided not to perform my tooth extraction today. I called the insurance company to understand the situation better. They explained that the code used for the evaluation is not covered and the x-ray claim was returned noting the lack of documentation. They suggested resubmitting the claim with the correct code and including the proper documentation. It's astonishing that Darcy, who claims to be an office manager of 14 years, wouldn't know these basic insurance details. I have dealt with her three times now, and each time has been a regrettable experience. Given that this is the only oral surgeon in Yuma that accepts this insurance, my options are very limited. Hours after confirming my appointment, I missed a call from their office at 12:20 pm. I returned the call on 04/07/25 at 8:26 am to make sure my appointment was still scheduled since I wasn't able to return their second call on 04/03/25. According to the receptionist, my appointment was scheduled for 10:30 a.m., not 9:30 a.m., and nothing had changed. I arrived at the office at 10:25 a.m., only to be told by the receptionist that my 9:30 a.m. appointment had been missed, resulting in a $50 no-show fee. I explained that I'd spoken to someone who said the appointment was at 10:30 a.m. However, since there were no notes or changes in my file, and I couldn't recall the person's name, it was still considered a no-show. They offer a $25 discount as a first-time courtesy. I insisted it wasn't my error, explaining that someone from their office had given me a 10:30 time. Why am I being penalized for your error? Despite presenting my call log, they insisted on payment. I'm certain the girl who answered the phone was listening to our entire conversation and lacked the courage to admit her mistake. Mistakes happen, that's fine, but expecting me to cover the costs was unreasonable. I informed them that I was not rescheduling my appointment and that I would not be returning or paying the fee.

I came in super early on my only day off after working a 16 hour shift. The receptionist said it would be 25$. After the appointment she said it would actually be 300$ because she messed up. This place is a scam, when I tried to call them and email them on 4 different days, they would never pick up. Have you ever heard of those places in the valley where they scam ppl that is not from around here? Well this is it. The doctor I spoke to on the phone was extremely nice, however the receptionists are so inresponsible and they never pick up their phones, considering the fact that's it's a doctors place. They offer free estimates based on the procedure you would like and tell you what you should do in order to achieve your desired look through WhatsApp. However, the man or lady who was answering me showed nothing but incompetence and rudeness. I sent pictures of myself which were very personal and right after I was talked to as someone who didn't deserve to be treated. I was unsure of what procedure I wanted so I listed several and expected to get a list of costs and suggestions. On the contrary, the man or lady texted me with sarcasm telling me "how do you even expect to go into surgery multiple time" even though I had told them that the reason for me to put different procedures was because I didn't know what I wanted done yet. I honestly would not recommend this center to anyone. Staff felt super judgy, I would rather go to a place more expensive than go there and feel like that ever again.

Me anestecio y ni me hizo ningun cambio mas que dejarmelos mas flacidos sin reducir medida. Su enfermera me maltrato. Me grito y me regañaba obligandome a que yo misma recojiera mi ropa del suelo cuando estaba recien operada y no podia nisiquiera caminar derecha recien operada. Tambien no me fajaron saliendo del hoapital me dejaron muchos dias sin faja, lo cual afecta a los resultados de la cirujia. It was my first surgery ever and he ruined me for life. I did a TT. He gave me a hideous belly button, a lower belly, flabby skin I didn't have before and nothing can fix it now (i haven'thad kids). It wasn't lipo so i should have been left with loose skin. He gave me dog ears and got mad at me for bringing this up Also my scar was left so high I needed revision. I also paid him to do.lipo on my arms and when I woke up he hadn't done them. 6 months later he supposedly did them. He put me under anesthesia and didnt even do any favorable change on me. He just left me hanging flabby skin without even changing their size. His nurse mistreated me. She yelled at me so I would pick up my own clothes from the floor when I couldn't even walk straight days after surgery. They also failed to provide me with my girdle post op I should have it on immediately before leaving the hospital and I didnt get one until many days later which affects the surgery outcome.

At the ENT clinic we had to sign an agreement that its a hospital service and a physician service and a hospital service will be charged. There will be a charge and a copay for both. I'd like to downgrade the review from two stars to zero stars, what is noted in the first section, doctor Ford is still a good provider. Unfortunately, the front office was an exercise in futility to be generous. We were unable to schedule the follow-up visit and were told to call back in a month. Then we tried to schedule to get hearing AIDS. They gave us a printed sheet of paper to call somebody else, and they started commenting about insurance that isn't ours, and finally realized they weren't even looking at the correct account. They were looking at somebody else's chart entirely. Obviously more annoyed than embarrassed at their incompetence, at that point they just tried to do everything they could to get us out of the office as fast as possible instead of taking care of us. I am not even angry. I'm appalled. How can a health care provider? They just said they were going to double charge and double co pay then say we just don't want your money. Go away. We're too incompetent to take care of you. I think they need to have their hearing checked. They said you may have to pay it out-of-pocket and then I said i'm aware of that. I'll pay it in cash $100 bills if necessary. So why in the hell couldn't they schedule it.

    This is a tough one. Most (not all) of the actual providers are okay to great, but the company is…read moremercenary and has inappropriate clerical and front office staff training. Mercenary: Two charges and two copays for a (not at the hospital) visit to see one provider for one service. Maybe its legal, but its certainly morally ambiguous. Poor Training: Unable to schedule follow up visit at time of current visit. Have to call back in a month. More Poor Training: Tried to schedule a different service and was handed a number to call somebody else for an insurance company we don't even have. Then I realized they were looking at somebody else's account. Instead of apologizing and trying to get things straight they just seemed to want to get us out of the office as fast as possible. Saying they would check with our insurance and call us. It's not covered by the insurance I was willing to pay out of pocket, but they never even let it get to that point. My mom needs hearing aids. I'm willing to pay in cash with $100 bills if need be, but Onvida's ENT clinic on Avenue B just wanted to get rid of us. Generally, Dr Patrick Ford is a great provider there, but he could stand to know a little more about the other directly related services within the clinic. I'd give Dr Ford 4 stars, but Onvida as an organization would get just 1. Given that the cost of Onvida (a community non-profit medical organization) is among the most expensive in the country, my experience today taking my mom to see the doctor was very disappointing. I went with my mom today with every intent of doing whatever was necessary to get her hearing aids going, and left feeling like Onvida doesn't want our business at any price. It was pretty terrible.
