About 2 months after we moved in, following a large storm, we started to see paint bubbles appear on our walls in our main house and ADU. We were immediately concerned and we began to talk to roofers. Jordan at Apollo Roofing was among 7 roofers we interviewed for the job, and he was by far the best, and it wasn't particularly close. One roofer came by, got on top of the roof, came down, went back to his office and had his colleague quote me for an amount that made me want to sell the house. Another roofer came and didn't even bother knock on my front door and just decided to climb on top of the roof to inspect without telling us he was even here. Another came, inspected the roof with a drone and left without showing me what he saw. The last roofer didn't even bother coming by and just took satellite pictures of the roof and told me I need a reroof. Jordan was different. He came by and first examined the damages on our walls. He then climbed on top of the roof and found all areas that he suspected where the leaks were occurring. And then he educated me on the various techniques to reroof a house and what my options are (TPU, modified bitumen torch down, or overlay) and gave me his recommendations. After he left, not only did I feel like I was more educated about the roofing process which I was a complete novice in, he also gave me confidence that he was the right man for the job. The only thing that remained was the quotation. After he gave me a quote, he walked me through the scope of work line item by line item until I was left completely satisfied with the price and scope of the project. Never once did I think he was trying to sell me fixes that I didn't need or was trying to take advantage of a roofing newb. He gave me the time and space to validate his advice with others in the business all of which were completely confirmed. We signed the contract shortly thereafter. It took a while for the project to commence given the persistent rain. However, when I requested a particular deadline to start the work, he got his team together and found a 3 day window where there was no rain in the horizon and got to work immediately. More importantly, I had set a deadline of mid-March to complete the reroof because I had planned a surprise engagement proposal for my significant other the weekend after. Jordan's team wasted no time and finished the job in exactly 3 days. We are extremely grateful for Jordan and his team, and the Apollo Roofing Company in general. We don't expect to need their service again soon because they did such a phenomenal job, but we wholeheartedly would recommend them to others.

David and Gilbert were there every step of the project. I live in the Santa Cruz mountains and David still made the time to travel almost every day to make sure our project was running smoothly. My wife and I are first time homeowners and I feel like David did a great job addressing all our concerns including all the heavily rotted wood that needed replacing. This summer (summer 2026), we had a tree branch fall on our ADU roof and caused some shingle and underlayment damage. Top Tier provided a decent quote to come out to repair the damage. The team repaired the damage within 30 minutes of arrival. There's a reason they are highly rated. You won't be disappointed in hiring Top Tier for your next roofing projects. I heard they now also have a gutter and downspout replacement team. We may use them for all our future gutter/downspout related projects.

Gilbert's estimate was 3 times the cost of the first estimate but Gilbert identified several areas of concern that the first roofers did not indicate. For example Gilbert indicated I needed a saddle around my chimney something that the original roofer never installed. Plus several other areas of concern. It took awhile to schedule everything by Gilbert kept me informed through out the process. The repair team was excellent and also kept me informed throughout the day. The repair person (Hob), took extensive pictures and showed me the before and after of each section repaired. I would highly recommend this business even though I thought they were a bit high on the estimate.. but quality of work was again excellent.

I also requested some upgrades (fascia boards, skylight replacement, etc.). My impression was that this was a big roofing job for a typical SFH in the area. Mike and team were very patient with all of my questions, and I really appreciated how well they kept me informed every step of the way by asking for my input and feedback on each of the decisions and keeping track of all of my requests. A five star only company over the hill turned the job down because of additional rooms add ons meaning higher likelihood of leaks, and it's a flat roof increasing the possibility of leaks. Those guys were weak, and only concerned with perfect reviews. Redwood roofing took our tough job on, and did a great job. Always did what they said they were going to do. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, they get the job done right. We had a few small hiccups but they were quick to address them and make everything right. Very honest company. During the gutter cleaning they found my storm drains were clogged and advised me to call a plumber. Now I'm all set for the winter storms. Luis and his crew spent lots of time making sure the welds on the TPO were done correctly. They were also able to address a B vent which was leaking for many years. Now its water tight again. We wanted to replace all our original 1960s-era single-pane windows with double-pane windows. We…read morealso wanted a storm door for our front door. We got an estimate from Andersen (less the storm door). Their products and installation method were top-notch, but so was their estimated price! So we wanted something more economical. After some research we heard Milgard windows using an "retrofit" installation would be more in our price range. We also wanted a window/door-installation company that gave us a good price estimate (1/3 the cost of Andersen), was in our locale (Tri-Valley) , and had 5-star rating already. So we were happy to find Cal Coast that met those criteria. The initial estimate process was straightforward. Our estimator was friendly and efficient. The format of the estimate came in digital PDF format. It was easy to print, and the details and layout were very helpful with diagrams of what the windows and door would look like with dimensions. One measurement for one window was slightly off. I mentioned that to my estimator. He assured me that was not a problem because if I accepted their estimate, then the next step was for another technician would come out to the house to re-measure the windows more accurately and in more detail. We did accept the estimate, and indeed another technician came out to do detailed measurements. Then we received a revised and more detailed contract in that same great layout! The estimator kindly set our expectations that our windows and door were going to take 5-6 weeks to custom manufacture and about 1 to 2 days to install. Those timings were right on target, which helped us in planning other events in our life. Installation only took 1 day! The crew was great - courteous, hard working, and efficient. They put foam insulation in the space between our window frames and the new windows. The caulking work was professional. I was pleased. And the crew cleaned up after themselves perfectly. Another thing I was pleased with was Cal Coast's production manager helped me apply and get my city building permit for the new windows. The day of installation, the foreman handed me a nice folder with the printed permit with other instructions. I really appreciated that. Also after installation she worked with my city building department to schedule a final inspection by a city inspector. When the inspector came out, because the product and installation were superb, it passed with no problem. Of course, I paid a little more to have this permit processing service, but it was well worth it. Finally, as you can tell from this rather long review, I'm very pleased with our experience with Cal Coast and the Milgard products. I add my 5-star review to others that have gone before me for Cal Coast!

His price was $750 LESS than what another company had originally charged me for the door (same door) and installation, and I didn't have to wait two months for the wrong door!
