I cannot say enough positive things about working with Brian. From the moment we met him, we knew he was the right fit for us. He is a super nice guy and did a fantastic job photographing our special day as well as our engagement photos. He was very responsive, has a great eye for capturing beautiful moments and totally professional. He was really easy to work with and was quite affordable for someone of his high caliber and talent. I would highly recommend using his services for any occasion. In fact, we have continued to use Brian for other occasions, most recently, my pregnancy photos and will use him to take photos of our new baby. We have forged a great partnership with Brian and will have him capture all our special moments going forward. BTW, our wedding video and photographs turned out awesome. He seriously got every imaginable shot possible and we loved our video too!!

He didn't even have a booth at one of those hotel expos, I got his info from a friend whose wedding was shot back in the days when they actually used film (early 2000's) Needless to say, Brian uses high end digital stuff now & gave us thousands of great pics to chose from when making our albums. We did the engagement pics near his studio in Huntington Beach. I'm still amazed at how good the pics by the HB Pier of my then fiancee & I look. We have a giant framed print in our room standing in front of the Pacific w/super clarity. When we included several of those shots in our reception slideshow, you could literally hear the oohs & aahs. We also decided to go w/him because of the combo- package deal of making a dvd of the ceremony & reception hi-lights. Brian & his apprentice were totally cool to work with staying an hour later than in the contract for no extra charge since the reception hall was late w/dinner etc. (Hey, these things happen! : ) I've been to a lot of weddings & I can say I've never seen a photographer handle getting all the extended family shots after the ceremony w/the bride & groom as well as Brian. (there never seems to be enough time, Uncle Larry seems to have wandered off etc) This dude was able in the 15 mins the church gave us to get both sides of extend fam & wedding party posed & notice right away if someone was blinking & re-shoot it on the fly while doing some pretty cool artistic things to boot. A pretty great experience for us overall!

We were able to meet with him twice before the wedding, one of the time at the wedding location. It was very easy to talk to him about what we wanted from our wedding pictures and what style of photography we were looking for. He captured the day of the wedding so well. I feel the love and fun we had every time I look at the pictures he took.

With that said, I can still attest to the fact that he is an extremely responsive and helpful professional. With everything that goes into wedding planning, it's nice to run into a vendor who helps out even if you aren't contractually working with them. Brian kept in email contact with me for the next week just to give me another photographer referral. So just know that if you are lucky enough to work with Brian, you can trust that he is going to be accommodating and communicative.

It's taken me 4 years to write this review! Awful wedding photos! Nothing like what was advertised…read more Here is my email to the photographer that went unresponded to. I still have not to this day never printed a single photo! We ended up re-shooting a year later with someone else. I sat down to finally print my wedding book tonight, and absolutely awful. Never received any edited photos. Hi Eric- So I'm a bit unhappy with the final pictures. I feel there was NO attention to detail taken. The pictures in the bridal suite have a big stinking AC in the background. I'm literally in a couture gown in front of an AC unit. I don't care to print most of the photos taken there. It would have been had the ac unit been photo shopped out, or they tried another location to shoot the dress. Im apalled that the grooms photos were taken on the balcony with the ac unit in the background, and in the hallway of the hotel, the railing in the hallway is so cringy (it screams motel 6)!! And not to mention the miscellaneous peoples in the background. There was so many better places on the property that these photos could have been taken. Finally, I wish your photographers would have reviewed their cameras a little closer, my daughter one of the flower girl did not make one pretty smile. All sorts of weird faces and expressions from her (not your guys fault) but it would have been nice had she or I been cued to smile pretty etc. I don't even have one nice photo. I mean you guys are the professionals. One of my bridesmaids there is only two pictures with and she looks freakish in both. Again how about looking at the camera, and Making sure you got a good shot. Lastly, most of the photos that I do like from the beach have people in the background. Can this be photoshopped? I literally at this point don't even have one photo that I would like to print and hang. Really don't feel like I got any images like the ones on your website. I'm really bummed as there are no do-overs, at least with my whole wedding party. I will be redoing photos with my husband and daughters at some point. Hopefully, we will then finally have the photos I had hoped for. I hope you take this criticism constructively back to your team. The photography and style seamed professional but it was the lack of attention to detail that really led to poor photos in our opinion. I got so many rave compliments on the pictures from all my friends and family. Wedding day pictures just came back and again I was amazed by the way Brian was able to capture emotion...and even the "posed" pictures didn't look so posed. I also got so many compliment on these pics as well. Another pro is that he's with you all day on the day of the wedding - most photographers quote you for 5-6 hours. My only (small) gripe is that he's a little pricey - but you get what you pay for. My husband and I couldn't afford to get the package we wanted (with album and second photographer) - but we're going to print the pics on our own.

However, it has been almost 3 months since our wedding and we still haven't received any of our videos; not even the highlight video. We tried to call both Nathan and Amy (his wife) many times to get update on the video but they never pickup. I'm very disappointed in his professionalism considering how famous his work is in the Vietnamese community. Update: Nathan finally sent us highlight video and full video of our wedding. We are very happy with the quality and their editing.

Lia sent back her wedding video as the original video edits had poor lighting and transitions. It's very frustrating to see videographers and photographers not delivering on their end of the deal. My fiance and I couldn't be happier with our engagement photos!! It is not just the actual…read moreend-results, but the whole process was absolutely magical. We actually found Tony through Instagram, and we liked his editorial looks that we found on his website. I am a huge fan of using Yelp so I was little skeptical, because there were a few not-so-nice previous reviews, but boy, am I SOOO happy I didn't listen to any of them! We had an engagement shoot set for middle of December.. Daytime at Malibu Beach and then Evening Shoot in Downtown LA. Tony was eager to hear my vision for the day. He was also very open to me sending him inspiration photos, which he actually referenced to during our time together! His memory was impressive and thoughtful. He came together with his love, LeAnn, and I can't rave to you how great they are as a couple to work together. They provide great direction for poses and notice the smallest details to make the pictures perfect. By the time our beach shoot was over, Tony, was waist high drenched from making sure he got the right shots for us! He also knew I was on a huge time crunch for Save the Dates so he produced all the millions of photos within a couple weeks, per my request. The editing was just jaw-dropping. This was definitely a review I've been excited to write. I feel like I'm still lacking comments on just how wonderful it was to work with him and LeAnn, but at the end of the day, I just need to say, everyone should have an experience with Tony. I know for a fact, there wouldn't be anyone else who would have produced such FANTASTIC photos, while making us feel comfortable the whole day!!!

Tony photographed my family a few weeks ago in Corona Del Mar. He made our photo shoot fun and had us laughing. When our pictures came out, our smiles did not look fake and our expressions looked like we were genuinely having a great time. I highly recommend using Tony as your photographer for your family photos, head shots, or whatever you need.
