We chose Nathan Le team to do our wedding videography. We were very happy to see how they worked professionally in our wedding. However, it has been almost 3 months since our wedding and we still haven't received any of our videos; not even the highlight video. We tried to call both Nathan and Amy (his wife) many times to get update on the video but they never pickup. I'm very disappointed in his professionalism considering how famous his work is in the Vietnamese community. Update: Nathan finally sent us highlight video and full video of our wedding. I have always been a fan on Nathan Le's photography, and his work always exceeds my expectations. One of my girlfriends booked him for a wedding and she was completely happy with the results. I was a part of the bridal party and got to see him work behind the cameras. He was very professional and was even able to work under complications. (The father of the groom was using his iphone to film the ceremony, like literately next to the officiate) I can sense his frustration, but saw that he stay composed and improvised his shots. It baffles me to see a poor review on Nathan's work ethics. In all his contracts, it states if you are unhappy with his work, he be happy to give you a full refund or retake your photos. This contract is signed by both parties. I have used Nathan for several photoshoots, and each time, I was able to state which photos I like and he would edit them as well. I have also recommended him for wedding photography, and everyone is completely happy with the result of his work. Nathan is professional. He will give you a free consultation if you are deciding whether you want him as your wedding photographer on your special day. He will go through his contract with you, and will make any adjustments, if needed, with you present. He will not take any bookings unless the contract is sign by both parties. Please understand this is our last resort to get the attention of NathanLe Photography after numerous private messages and many months of attempts. We are very disappointing with the situation since we really trusted him. Our experience with NathanLe Photography started out just like many of the other reviews here. My wife found Nathan online and after our first meeting, follow by engagement sessions were very pleasant. He was very professional and very artistic. The downward spiral started when he decided to bail on our "Tea-ceremony" event to attend a party in Las Vegas. He sent his recommendations who had no sense or skill of photography. We had to constantly direct him to take pictures of what we need. The replacement photographer completely missed the entire family pictures. On our wedding day, he did showed up with 2 additional assistants and did what we thought was an exceptional job. We decided to add a few more hundreds dollars to the original fee as a gratuity for his works. Long story shorts, it has now been 8 months after our wedding day. We were promised multiple photo albums, a wedding canvas, and all of our pictures on a disc. He deposited and cashed our checks shortly after our wedding. After numerous phone calls, emails, texts, attempts to contact NathanLe Photography to get our wedding photos, he REFUSED!!! to reply to us. To this day, we still have not received our wedding pictures. If anyone knows where this Nathan is, please tell him that all we want are the pictures that was promised to us from our special days. I was referred to Nathan from a coworker, that had been to a wedding that featured some of his images. After the first consultation, we decided to book Nathan as our engagement and wedding photographer, photo booth, guest pictures, and video. His images and artistry were beautiful without any post image processing. And his rates were comparable or even better than competing businesses. We spent all day from 9am until 9pm with Nathan for our engagement shoot. He drove us to four or five different locations. On our wedding day, he was really prompt and courteous. He showed up at the bride's house at exactly the time requested (which was 8am) and his second photographer showed up at my house at the same time. The two of them spent all day with us - from early morning until the wedding ended around 12am taking pictures. The were really friendly and made everybody feel comfortable in front of the camera. Even his 'guest thank you cards' were also beautiful. While other competitors only offered a generic card to give out. Nathan custom designed our card - with images from our engagement shoot. Other photographers only a include a picture of the guest(s) and the bride/groom for there thank you card. But Nathan went beyond that. In our thank you card - he included two 4x6 color pictures - one was a picture of the bride and groom and the other was a picture of the guest and bride/groom usually taken at the beginning of the wedding reception. A lot of my guests loved it. Even his promised delivery dates were on time. We needed some files/photos right away and he burned all the photos on dvd so we can take it back to Vietnam for our honeymoon to show our relatives. Even the photo books that were included in the package came on time and really beautiful. We are definitely happy with the outcome and would recommend him to other couples. read more

My coworker recommended me to Nathan for wedding photography. While planning my wedding, I did a lot of research and met up with many photographers. My goal was to find a photographer who can do a good job and still stay within our budget. After the initial meeting with Nathan, my husband and I decided to book Nathan as our photographer. We saw his work and from just talking to him, we knew that he is very passionate in what he does. It was never about money with him; instead, he's more interested in talking about shooting locations and such. Due to our budget, we didn't have an engagement photoshoot but now we regret it because he could've taken us to some beautiful locations. On our wedding day, he and his assistant showed up on time. He came to my parents' house where the tea ceremony took place and his assistant went to the groom's house to take pictures of the pre-tea ceremony before the groom's side come over. After the tea ceremony, we went to Huntington Beach Park for a photoshoot with the bridal party. Nathan is very meticulous with his work. He will roll over dirt and jump hoops just to capture that perfect angle. My husband and I as well as the bridal party are pretty stiff when it comes to posing for pictures. But, Nathan made us feel so comfortable. He made us laugh and he also pose for us as an example. A very patience man. At the reception, when guests were taking pictures with the bride and groom, he actually put effort into positioning guests and forcing them to smile. If the picture didn't come out right, he would tell them to take it again. I really appreciated that because from my experience in going to so many weddings, most photographers don't care whether the thank you card pictures come out nice or not. I've had one or two thank you card pictures from other weddings where my eyes were closed and the photographer didn't do anything about it. My husband and I find those little things really matter. Nathan stayed until the very end of our wedding day. He captured all the important moments and details that was needed and more. We got married in November of 2015, so after the wedding we needed a couple of photos to send out thank you/holiday cards to our family and friends. I asked Nathan if I could have a couple of pictures first, he sent me 1200 pictures from our wedding to pick from. That was very kind of him because I know most photographers would not do that. About 4 months after the wedding, Nathan drafted our album, sent it to us to look over for approval and let me tell you, he drafted the album so well that we didn't need to change anything at all. The only thing we added was an extra page for family page because Asian family always want to see more pictures of them in it. He included a couple of extra pages for us without charging us extra. Again, that was very nice of him to do so. The album flows very well and it basically sums up all the special moments for that entire day from beginning to end. The best part was we didn't even have to look through our pictures to pick which ones we want on there because he did all that for us. A couple of my friends who booked other photographers have to sit there and pick out their own photos. Some of them don't even know where to begin or have no idea how the layout is like. After we approve the drafted layout, printing the album only take a week. We got our album about 3 weeks ago and we couldn't be more satisfied. The turnover rate is really good compared to other photographers. Most of our friend who got married before us still haven't gotten their album yet. All in all, my husband and I are very satisfy with Nathan's professionalism and creativity. His price is very reasonable for an exceptional work compared to other photographers. He showed up, did the job he was there for and did not get drunk or party with the guests like some photographers we've been hearing about from our friends' experience. Our friends and family always rave about our pictures each time they look at it. Now we have a nice album and all of the raw pictures on our computer to look back on our wedding day. We are very disappointed with Nathan's business since we really trusted him. He asked me to paid in full before my wedding day. I trusted him and wanted to help him, so i gave him my money. When we first met Nathan, he seemed very flexible with us and focused on his job. After we paid him in full and tip him on our wedding day, it went down hill from there. We tried several times to follow-up with him about completing our photo album, but he just ignored us. We literally had to do a stakeout in front of his business office to get a chance to talk with him, only then did he realize that we weren't giving up, and we wanted our wedding album. The worst part about it, was our families and friends kept asking to see our wedding album and that just made it more upsetting. Finally one year after our wedding, Nathan gave us our album. We hired Nathan for our Tahoe/Reno wedding. He's probably one of the most flexible vendors I've come across while offering the utmost quality. Even the price point was the best we can find. Him and his team were expected to take pictures from the morning all the way to very late evening and we were not disappointed. He did not miss a shot and the photos that we received were superb & crisp. While being an amateur photographer myself, I was able to learn a lot from his methods. From small things like telling his subjects to move their phones from their front pocket to back pocket or to larger things like complex group shots. While we were in LA, he even invited my wife and I to his studio to finalize our wedding album (he's so patient as we been delaying on choosing photos for 5 months now). I booked Nathan for my wedding package and he was professional since day one. He was very easy to work with, from adjusting the album package to your pricing and to the photo sessions and the wedding day itself was wonderful. Not only was he patient, but also humorous and passionate. He took his time with us and not at all rushy, capturing all the moments in the most natural settings and ways there could have been. On our wedding day, no one knew exactly what to do, but because he's so experienced, he guided us through the entire day. He stayed from early morning 'til night. His work came out amazing, and although he has an artistic eye, he wants you to be part of the process and he edited his work to your liking. Sure, there might have been a delayed in terms of time (e.g. the time it takes to receive the final products but it was also my fault for not updating him what I wanted right away).
