He was extremely professional, took a lot of time to explain the treatment and make sure I was comfortable, obviously knew what he was doing with his needles, and seemed genuinely invested in my overall health. Turns out acupuncture doesn't really hurt---just a little pinch and then you feel kind of heavy and sleepy. Weird but cool.

I didn't want a c-section, and read that acupuncture could help move the placenta out of the way of the cervix opening. Not many will perform acupuncture on pregnant ladies. My placenta hadn't moved in a month. After I started acupuncture, it moved a whole centimeter in 2 weeks. Ziki also prescribed some herbs I bought in China town to help raise my chi energy, in turn raising the placenta. All western medicine said there is nothing you can do to help it move. I was a mess physically and mentally; not healing well and not having the proper chair and sitting for hours was too much. I tried a chiropractor with no relief. He explains exactly what he's doing and the reason behind it, and is very gentle with the needles. In my experience it usually involves speaking to a practitioner for five minutes, being poked with needles and left alone for fifteen minutes then being sent on my way. All that changed after I started seeing Finbar. I'm an athlete and a dancer so I run into bodily injuries here and there. This past spring my back was in bad shape and went into spasm. I could barely walk without pain and definitely couldn't arch at all. I had a competition approaching and needed to recover in time for it. His knowledge and passion for healing and his spiritual and intellectual approach piqued my interest and I decided to try it two weeks ago. I went to Edward at a very stressful time in my life, I was experiencing headaches, trouble breathing and sleeping, some chest pains and slight anxiety. In my session, Edward made me feel extremely comfortable, his soothing voice kept me at ease and he was very delicate with each touch and took time to explain every single thing he was doing to my body ensuring I was ok at every step. Oh and the needles didn't hurt! :) When Edward was finished inserting the needles, I laid there for about 30-45 mins and started to feel my body relax, the headache started to dissipate and my breathing became less laborious, the slight chest pain seem less painful. I have a mix of nerve pains throughout my body, myofascial points, emotional issues, and digestion issues, and surprisingly, Wilton has been able to address it all. He treats the root of the problem, not the symptoms. And he really cares your well being. I highly recommend him! I've already recommended him to a coworker/friend who plans on going back. I got a Yelp deal but have gone back about 5x without it. His prices are very very reasonable without a deal, and makes it easy to go back. I came to him with intense unexplained fatigue and after a few sessions I'm feeling better already. No more Tylenol and Advil.
