77 reviews are currently "not recommended" and are visible through the Yelp app on my iPhone; I cannot see them on my PC. I would caution anyone that would like to become a patient to please spend the extra time looking at these for a clearer picture of the practice. Our child became a patient based on the recommendation of our family dentist. That's all the research we did. The sales process was fine; informative; and, full of disclaimers and limitations that we didn't understand; but, nonetheless expected. And, the price was in line with our expectations. Our child's teeth were a mess, with more than a few missing adult teeth; baby teeth that would not come out; an overbite; and, the like. Through it all, we endured endless waits, rushed services, beratings from the doctor, late times, extended times; and, form after form to sign up for more services, such as whitening, retainer insurance and the like, which we never did. Worst of all, we received conflicting information regarding "the plan" and many times from the same doctor that had provided the update the visit prior. We were not told why certain things were recommended or not. And, we eventually had to make an appointment with an oral surgeon to finally get the full picture. Our child's teeth are straighter; and, are in retainers. We have only 1 more retainer set that the practice is under contract to deliver to us. At this point, we are going to transfer to another orthodontist and will simply pay for the retainers needed over the next few years. The implants are coming; and, that's going to be up to 10 times more than the braces ever were, so we are preparing for that. If we'd been treated with as much empathy and respect during the services as we had received during the sales process, this would have been a 5-star review. Almost all of the employees are great; but, the turnover is immense. It's the professional staff; and, the turnover with doctors that have frustrated us. Terrible from start to finish. Before my first appointment, the office was shut down for 2-3 weeks I believe something major happened. Almost like the board demanded shut down due to an issue that may have occurred. Boy do I wish I had took this as a sign. When my first issue with the office occurred, I sent a text to their portal stating something along the lines of "I see why they shut you guys down, they should do it again" EDNA, then called me literally yelling. I'm not even exaggerating when I say this woman was yelling at me for saying that comment and then threatened me with "I CAN HAVE THE DOCTOR DISMISS YOU AND YOU'LL ONLY GET 20% OF YOUR PAYMENT BACK" Being that I had my braces on for 3 months at the time and paid them in full, I was in NO position in getting "dismissed" so I had to play the part well and apologize which is INSANE lol Fast forward to my 2nd last visit, I flew out from tx since I no longer live in FL. This visit was to do a scan for the removal/retainers.. The scanner didn't work lol can't make this up. No sorry, no empathy, nothing!! CAROLINA stated "well it's not working what would you like me to do?" In her very monotone way. I then asked to speak to the doctor because I paid $300 specifically to make it to this appointment and he got argumentative. He was laughing sarcastically and not allowing me to speak Till I finally said "allow me to speak, I'm The one who flew out here just for you guys not to be able to do absolutely anything other than reschedule me" After I left, I asked them to release me since I no longer live in FL and found a much better doctor that was willing to remove the braces and complete the work, only if Dr.lach provided a letter of approval. Took a week to hear back just for Edna to let me know that Dr.lach said no because he wants to finish the work himself. I told her no worries, I'll leave a review on yall. She then bribed me by offering the teeth polishing for free in lieu of a good review. They ended up telling me they don't recommend I do the teeth polishing on the DAY OF but still gave me the options to do it if I wanted to. I just said forget it, I'll gladly pay the money else where. Keep Your free procedure that probably would've came out a hot mess. And you know what, I honestly was going to give them some grace and leave a better review and not share as much of the negative but then during my last visit (YESTERDAY 9/16/25) For some reason I was not scheduled for the teeth polishing. After waiting 40 minutes I asked the receptionist how much longer so he went to check with Brad and BRAD responded "idk, Edna scheduled her not me" He said it in a way as if I was such a bother and loud enough for Me to hear it. That was the last straw for me. I stood quiet and calm which I'm typically not the type to do so. He's very passive aggressive. I knew I no longer had to deal with any of them going forward. I have left out about 80% of the issues I have experienced because it's been so many. But when I say it has been a nightmare from start to finish.... I am not exaggerating!! The only positive I can think of is that they would squeeze me in last minute, but typically had to speak with Edna and pretty much beg them to see me. So I do appreciate them squeezing me in last minute here & there. So here you go, here's your honest review. Do better. EDIT: notice Dr.lach's response to all the negative reviews! I don't even have words for how disappointed and angry I am with this place. My son has been with them for over 3 years without having a treatment plan or any plans to remove his braces. Everyone who works at this clinic is very rude and unprepared to be there, especially a lady named "EDNA," who claims to be the office manager. She is an extremely rude woman with no low level of education. When I complained several times that the assistants, who are not authorized or qualified to maintain my son's braces, were deeply hurting his mouth, causing wounds, cuts, etc., there was no assistance from them. My son complained that they were hurting his mouth and bleeding, and they said it was nothing to keep quiet. Every time he had an appointment, he was NEVER seen on time. He always waited for more than 2 hours and often lost a day's work because he couldn't get there on time. The dentist was never there, that is, they were people not qualified to do the work of an orthodontist. When I really decided to take my son out of that disgusting and horrible place, they never gave me the correct form, filled out and signed, to give to the new orthodontist. In other words, it's a SCAM office that only collects your money every month and doesn't offer you any support or work from an orthodontist like they say they do. Please run away from this place if you don't want to waste your time and money. I do not recommend this place at all!!! read more

I regret selecting this office for my daughter's orthodontics treatment. The only reason I continued going to this practice was I paid in full, up front for her braces. Big mistake!! The office is dingy, the staff is not pleasant and there is absolutely no communication from Dr Lach at all. There was hardly ever any update on her progress or how things were going. During the entire 19 months, I never saw Dr Lach except the one time I insisted on seeing him half way thru for an update. It was the most impersonal experience I've had! My daughter was uncomfortable during every visit. There was one tech in the beginning who was attentive but she must not work there anymore. Again, there is no interaction with Dr Lach, only the techs who do not provide any feedback at all. Bottom line, do not use this office! read more

I'm not usually the type to write reviews, in fact, I believe this may be my first one yet. But Lach Orthodontics definitely deserves one. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Now if you've been looking for reviews on what your experience at Lach might be like, look no further. I've been a patient of DR Lach for about 6-7 years now, even longer I think, and it's been nothing but a complete nightmare. Now, I'm going to give you a run down of just some of the things I experienced here, but let's start with the most recent one. I completed my second round of treatment (bc I wasn't happy with the results the first go around) and opted for the fixed retainer to avoid having my teeth shift (bc first time around, they shifted, even though I wore my retainers religiously, how did this happen? Good question, would love to know myself. ) As of today, this fixed retainer has broken three times now. First and foremost, this isn't supposed to happen. I understand there are instances where a retainer might become loose, but the fact that it wasn't once, or twice, but three times, indicates they're doing something wrong. My partner has had his fixed retainer on from another orthodontic provider since he was 14, he's 27 now, and not ONCE has his both upper and lower retainers detached or unbonded or broken. I never made a big deal about this nor did I make any complaints, because traditionally, I'm not that type of person. But after the 3rd time, one is bound to complain. And what I just experienced at Lach was probably the worst experience I've ever had at any office, which led me here, to WARN the rest of you to go to an Orthodontics office where they will truly care for you and your teeth. This office appeals to families and kids, and that's also why I'm doing this, because I want to provide you with honest feedback and suggest that you take your children somewhere else. My retainer came undone last week, AGAIN, for the 3rd time now. Not only is there pressure on all of my teeth now but the retainer is poking my lips, my tongue, I have a lisp and it hurts. This is an emergency. I understood they couldn't see me the day I called in, but I was relieved I could at least get an appointment for the following week. I was given an appointment for 6PM. When I made it to the appointment, I called in per the instructions on the door to inform them I had made it to my appointment, but then they told me they had no idea how I got an appointment at that time because they closed at 6pm. First of all, that's not on me. But I wasn't surprised, this wasn't the first time the same exact thing happened. See I've been coming to the Oviedo office for years now and I have so much to share, more on that later... Anyways, I could see that there were patients waiting outside and the office was not closed as I was being told over the phone by the office manager. I explained this to her, and she followed up by saying that I would not be able to get treated anyways because I had a past due balance. She told me I was to pay the remaining balance of $644 or at least $450 in order to book another appointment. This is an emergency! I am in pain. And the fact that they refused to see me when I told her time after time that I would pay later I just needed to be seen because I was in pain is just mind boggling to me. I can't afford to make the payments at the moment, I explained my situation but she was being incredibly insensitive and rude and she even went as far as comparing me and my situation to buying a car, not being able to make payments on the car and the car being taken away from you. SERIOUSLY? How degrading is that? It took a lot for me to hold my tears back when I heard this especially considering that we are in a pandemic, I can't afford to pay that at the moment. And its not like I am requesting for a new retainer or for the retainer to be fixed. When I made the appointment, I told them I wanted this retainer removed, not fixed or glued back on, I am over it, so I want it removed. When I explained this again she said it didn't matter if it was an emergency, if I didn't pay I wouldn't get treated. Had I not been in pain I would have let this go, because I understand that I do have a past due balance, but its an emergency, that happened due to the fact that something was obviously being done incorrectly. I shouldn't have to keep coming back due to an error that is on Lach. Bottom line is, they refused to treat me. Now imagine if this was a child, with a mother who couldn't afford the payments at the moment but just wanted her child treated because they were in pain. Though I doubt they'll compare you to a car like the office manager did to me, or at least I hope they don't but won't put it past them, they won't treat and help your child. I went for a free consultation for braces back in August 2017 based on the reviews I saw online, but I was highly disappointed. The waiting room was crowded despite having the last appointment of the day. You could tell they overbooked. However, my biggest issue was the non private accommodations. All the examination chairs were right by each other with no piracy or wall dividing them, which I found distributing. One person had their mouth open getting work done and there is a person in the chair next to them with the same thing. I just pictured germs flying in the air between both patients which is gross. Even the xray imagining machine was non private. While I was standing there getting my face scanned, had I looked to the right I could see everyone in the waiting room clear as day. And if looked straight ahead I was starting at a patient's mouth while she was getting work done. This location had the nerve to have taped up signs saying to not use cellphones on the floor to respect HIPAA laws, but I could listen in on everything the patients on the floor were saying to the technicians working on them. I ended up not getting braces there because I didn't feel comfortable with the facility. I need privacy. It didn't have to be a private room, but I shouldn't be laying in a dentist chair and be able to reach out to the person next to me. I think this place offers a reasonable payment plan which is was attracts people, however everything comes with a price. And I was not willing to give up my privacy and feeling comfortable in order to save a few dollars. I wouldn't recommend this location at all. read more

Employee turnover rate is high. Busy place. Hard to reach through phone. Nice environment. I'm still coming here for my braces and so far it's been ok. I got mine since March 2016. There were times I got great service and then other times it was just terrible. So all in all it's an average 3 stars. I'm hoping I can bump it up after I see the results in the end. The pros: The environment is absolutely nice and clean. It's very creatively decorated with an ocean theme. The staff are super friendly and accommodating Dr. Penny is amazing ! She's the one who does the propel procedure for me. It helped my teeth move faster. I'm hoping it actually cuts the final time. I've already done propel 3 times within a year. They run contests to win gift cards and more. They have a program where you can accumulate points by arriving on time or referring people etc. they definitely got their marketing done right. But I'm really not interested in referring anyone until I make sure my entire experience here is actually positive. Which is something they're lacking. They have no consistency in their service. Cons It's sometimes hard to reach them over the phone. But I think they are working on this now because I have actually reached someone over the phone for the last couple of times. Thank you for listening. The pano machine had some issues in the past. It worked during this visit but I hope it's permanently fixed. I had to skip one of my pano x rays one time because the machine wasn't working. Time is gold when it comes to braces. Please make us feel like you actually care by making sure things work when they should. If I'm scheduled for pano and it doesn't work then you just skip my pano, I'm going to feel like you slacked off and are being irresponsible. I'm no orthodontic so I don't know if that makes any difference at all. But there must have been a reason why you asked for pano to begin with. Canceling cause of tech issues is just not right. This place is over booked all the time! I had to wait over 2 hours one time and still couldn't get to my appointment. It happened to be during holiday season so I'll just give them a break (around thanksgiving 2016) Their staff retention rate is super low. I don't know how many times I've had new people work on my teeth and hurt my gums, not knowing how to put on my wire, etc. I don't mind new people working on me since we all have to learn one way or the other. But sometimes ... I just get concerned that in such a busy environment is there anyone to make sure they're doing the right thing ? I don't even know if that's how it is in other places The staff never explains to me what they're doing. I do want to know what's going on with my teeth. Keep me updated! I'm not asking for promises about when it will be over. I just want you to tell me what has improved and what's next. The schedule is all mixed up. When I get propel, the other techs aren't aware and don't schedule me sooner than the regular checkup times. I was told that after getting propel I should be able to get a checkup in three weeks or so. But no one knows what's going on so I got scheduled a few weeks later than needed. Supposedly the point of getting propel is to speed up the process. But if I'm still being checked up with the regular time, then why do I bother get propel ? Unless I got the wrong information. Anyways, I don't get propel anymore because I don't feel the staff is making the most out of the procedure. And it's just a waste of my money at that point. read more

I wrote a review saying that after wasting the thousands of dollars this business left me with a smile that was way less attractive than when I started with. They've responded in here with "as I know" they would keep working on my teeth until I was satisfied. I wonder if this is a new policy.... this was not extended to me. I told them I was unhappy with my smile. I told them they left me with a gap I never had by grinding between my teeth at the end of my treatment.... I was NEVER told that they would fix what they did. Furthermore if an additional price tag was attached to this I'm not wasting any more thousands with this business. I already paid, why would I pay more when you didn't deliver any results, but rather made my situation worse. Dr. Lach's office please do not comment saying that "I know" that you guys would keep working until I was happy. No one offered any help when I was left unhappy. My original review was made a lot shorter to be "nice." I had more that I was unsatisfied with. Your office was aware when I was there. I am vocal in a respectful manner. I literally left your office crying because of what I was left with. I hope your Invisalign works on future patients and you follow through with that never leave a customer unhappy attitude. However it doesn't address that I tried to seek their help for my shifting teeth with multiple phone calls - where I was supposed to be called back and was NOT, I wrote an email with pictures of my concerns - that went UNANSWERED. And their practice has made mention of a lawyer multiple times, accused me of blackmail (not true - I just wanted a RESPONSE), asked me to remove my review, and had a lawyer reach out to me. I am at another orthodontist and absolutely love my new provider. My new orthodontist spends a great amount of time with their patients, really wants to ensure you are happy, their staff is always incredibly friendly, responsive, and consistent. read more

LACH ORTHODOTICS Lach Orthodontics is a place I greatly REGRET taking my daughter to. The first several and frequent visits were to reattach her brackets because they wouldn't stay glued on. Only one staff member was able to, so I requested just him for the 2+ years she wore braces. During that time, I maybe saw the Dr himself twice, and spoke to him less than that. But boy do you see his face everywhere. You can tell the guy really, really likes himself. Wish it was mutual. Toward the end of my daughter's treatment, I purchased three more services. To laser her excess gums, file her edges, and whiten her teeth. Prior to that happening, I mentioned it to her Dentist, who strongly asked me to not do the whitening portion because of my daughter's condition. She has Tuberous Sclerosis Complex which causes tumors in all her organs, and dental pits on her teeth. I confirmed the Dentist's concerns with the TSC specialist that we go to. The disease is life-threatening as it is, so of course I'm not going to add to her physical problems unnecessarily. I told this to the staff at Lach's, and they did just the other two services. I asked about a refund for the whitening. At first I was told they don't give refunds, just credits. I explained we were at the end and nothing left to buy. And, I'd originally signed up two daughters for braces, but after a rocky start with the first, I cancelled the second child and was given a refund. So that's just not true. I also explained I didn't change my mind, but that two professional doctors felt it would be detrimental to her oral health to whiten her teeth because it'd weaken her already weak enamel. I've called so many times, I've gone in person, I've emailed, I've specifically asked for the Great Dr. Lach himself to call me, but just crickets. I've begun gathering the necessary information for a lawsuit, but it's frustrating because I have more important things I should be spending my time on, but it's my money not his, and shame on him for treating us this way. He took my money, Brad said about $330, didn't perform the service, made up a false policy, and POCKETED THE MONEY! My money! Each time I call, the staff members know the deal and feel badly for me. They apologize and say they don't blame me for being upset. They've also said they don't understand why he won't refund me and hides from me. (They don't say hide, they say avoids.) So, I'm going to have to sue. But if you're considering getting yours or your child's braces, RUN from this place. It iOh yeah, and when I said I only wanted a specific person taking care of her (remember how in the beginning several others failed and I had no choice?) so the tall guy with black hair all but called me racist! Yeah that's right! He said "just because we have accents doesn't mean we're not as good as the others." What??? That way of thinking shows who the racist is. Btw, my kids are Chinese. Whatever. There is only one reason, I'm still going. I paid up front for braces. Since COVID every communication is by text. You don't talk to anyone. The techs well there is about 2 that are nice and communicative it's the draw of the luck. My child comes out crying every time.. Your told that they will text next appointment and you wait a week and you need to reach out. One instance I requested a change in appointment, it was given, I repeated the appointment and time to make sure and the response was "yes!!!" .. seriousl! I've been having the worst time with Lach Orthodontics office since September up until today . I wanted to transfer out of their office due to me relocating which usually requires a refund to your insurance. Pablo the finance manager was very rude and nasty and said that " We do not owe you anything". I asked for a itemized bill Pablo said " We don't do those". So I figured he wouldn't be much help so I called my insurance company and this is when things got sketchy. My insurance company said they received a contract for 2800 leaving the patient (me) responsible for $1800. The contract I left Lach orthodontics with said my contract was 4000 with a $500 discount leaving me with $3500, insurance to pay $1000 and me $2500 (Totally unethical).Also Lach's office didn't mention that I was continuing treatment (already had braces on). So I called the orthodontics office back and wanted a explanation for the huge contract difference and I was told to call ortho-fi because it must of been their mistake. After reaching out to Ortho-fi they've called , emailed, and left message for the office since September without a response back trying to figure out the mix up. Ortho-fi still hasn't received notice from the office stating that I've transferred out. Now today I'm 2 1/2 months without treatment , my insurance is still paying Lach's office even though I filled out a transfer form two months ago. The office doesn't have the pictures, X-rays, or imprints they charged me for. I cannot go to another office until they can produce something saying how much I've paid and I'm no longer with them. Also combined they've received about $1600 from me for two appointments where I had bands changed. I came in with brackets and no one call tell me what I've been charged for and why. On a more positive note I spoke with a Vanessa who understands my concerns and really wants to fix them. Pablo could learn a few customer service skills from her. When money is involved one should always take a understanding tone and try to figure out what's wrong. Obviously there was a big mistake made here and I just want it fixed so that I can move on. My daughter and I had appts scheduled last week. We arrived more than 10 minutes early for our appts, At 1:17 we chose to leave because we still had not been called back and no one was at the front desk to talk to. I considered this appt like an interview, we respected the dentist time by showing up early, this was not a mutual approach. When deciding to get orthodontic treatment it is a long term commitment, one that requires many visits, this was a very poor example to set with a potential client. If you're going to be late, tell people. If I had read more of the vast number of 1 star reviews I would have known to expect ongoing lateness and would have not wasted my time. The overall Orthodontist process is great. The set your treatment plan and work with their patients twirls success. However it's the unscheduled visits that are a nightmare. You have to text a number for emergencies. Then you get a time to come in. We needed a spacer put back in, a 5 min process. We arrived at the requested time and sat for an hour! No communication, no explanation. We had to ask them what the issue was and finally she got seen. The practice simply has too many patients. Do not go here by any means. Things started out fine. Met Dr Lach and he laid out a treatment plan for my daughter. That's was really the only time he saw her after the initial consultation and we signed the contract. She only saw Dr Lach 1 other time in a 2 year period. All the other times it was techs or Dr Penny. You see him walking around office sometimes, but that's about it. There were 3 separate times when we were called to reschedule appointments because they had over booked. Two and a half years later and after many frustrations Dr Lach released my daughter before treatments were completed. It has been a nightmare since trying to get him or an office manager to call me to resolve the issue of money owed back to us for treatment not completed, even though we had paid in full at the time of release. All I wanted was a phone call to resolve the issue like professionals, but my calls, messages and numerous emails have gone unanswered since January 2018. Very disappointed that a Dr who is suppose to care about people could treat them this way. Luckily we found a new orthodontist who agree to take us on after our horrible experience with Dr Lachs office. Sadly we had to pay more money out of our pockets but at least my daughter sees the Dr now and her smiles looks way better. I'm not usually one to write a poor review, but if I can save someone the headaches we had, than it's worth it. Hopefully if Dr Lach sees this review he can contact me and make things right. Dr LachDr Lake Nona ofice caused severe damage to my daughter on her 4 front teeth, I have taken her to other orthodontists and no one wants to treat her. My daughter is suffering a lot with her appearance and with her permanent pain, now he told me she needs surgery. When she went there for the first time she had beautiful teeth, she just needed a little job and they deformed her teeth. She was almost done with the treatment when they caused this damage. My daughter is 15 years old and it has been a nightmare all this, her life changed because of this I give the Doctor one star because I have to, so I can post this. My daughter needed braces and while I was referred to go another orthodontist, I received the estimate and it required a large down payment. When I found Lach Orthodontics in Lake Nona, I really liked the modern look and feel of the office. Upon scheduling the appointment, the office staff was awesome; professionals with a sense of humor. Wait time to be seen was a approximately 3-4 minutes, if that. I cant recall having a seat. During the eval, Dr Lach didn't waste time on long story's. He came in, evaluated my daughter, briefed me, answered my questions and was out the door. The office's price was on point and did not require a large down payment. I really appreciated Chantell (sp) who navigated our visit and set up our appointments along with the front desk. The entire staff was just great. I would have no issues recommending my family or friends to come here for their orthodontic treatment, if and when the need arises. read more

I had my first visit with Dr. Lach on 09/26. Joanna welcomed my mom and I in and took the time to explain everything she was going to do and how the appointment was going to go. I explained to her that I had a fear of " the chair" and had not been to a dentist in a few years. Dr. Lach came in and examed my teeth and explained that invisalign was the best. I felt so relived after that. I am 27 and didn't want a mouth full of metal. Joanna explained the process and price and how the next few months would look. the staff was always nice, but dr lach, the only doctor in his 3 offices, clearly only cares about money and getting people in and out as quickly as possible. he was always slow to see you, quick to leave, and could not possibly spend enough time with any of his patients to remember a single thing about them. i was around 14-16 when i was under their care. i opted for their "propel" procedure, which supposedly allows for faster movement of your teeth (new retainer every one week instead of two). the procedure was the most pain i have ever been in in my life. the roots of my two front teeth are now shorter than they should be because they were made to move too quickly. and yes, i did keep up with the weird vibrating thing they gave me. not a single dentist or orthodontist i have ever spoken to has heard of this "propel" procedure. save yourself or your child from the pain and stay far away from this place. read more

I would give 0 star if I could. The staff here are nice. However, the doctor is the worst. I come here for 10 months and I never can ask him any questions because he's never in the office. He just cares about money not clients. To ask questions I have to text their number, and it took a week for them to answer the question. My teeth were pretty straight, all I want is to bring them in a little bit because my teeth are protruding. In the beginning, they were very nice to get you to sign the paper and get your money. But after that, everything is terrible. After 10 months of treatment, i see no changes on my teeth at all, so I told the doctor and he wanted me to pay almost $900 more for the new machine. That's so ridiculous. He should said that in the beginning. I was stupid to not check yelp for reviews before i came to this doctor. I saw a lot of people are mad and complaining about the same thing. Then the office replied with "we cannot find your name in the system" or " dr. Lach has treated 20000 cases" or they will blame it back to the client, which i guess they will use that to reply to me. Save your money and go somewhere else. I love the staff but not the doctor. I feel bad for the staff who have to work with this doctor. I bet they have to listen to a lot of complaints when it's not their fault because the doctor does not see clients at all. read more

My error the person who rolled her eyes at me was named Ana, not Evelyn, and I'd prefer NOT to speak to her ever again. As far you not recommending that patients drop by the office w/out seeing a dr --- then sorry to say every time I've pick up a set of trays I HAVE NEVER SEEN A DR except the one time I complained. So if thats the case, then we have a bigger issue here. Since my first post, the office has contacted me to admit the wrong for not allowing me to see one of the techs to get my trays - that is very much appreciated. I also have scheduled a follow up appointment to see if there are any additional options. Hopefully something else can be done - I will still check with my "general dentist" because he is also an elite provider for Invisalign. The only reason I came to Dr. Lach is because my insurance will not pay a dentist, only an orthodontist. read more

!!!!!Beware!!!!!! This practice treats you as if your buying a used car. Staff seems friendly at first then you sign the contract and then they pull a 180, nobody knows your name, your questions are never answered, my jaw surgery got put off two times cause the staff cant communicate with the oral surgeon or dentist. I was told they could fix my bite with braces that was incorrect. My tongue gets cuts cuts from where the hardware was cut off and it was not filed or smoothed out. When I told the staff my tongue BLEEDS from the cuts they told me the next opening was three weeks. I had to smell a smokers breath the whole time as he had to do adjustments. Ive had them cancel on me as I had been waiting in the lobby over an hour past my appt time and then when I showed up 10 mins late next time they said sorry we cant see you're late. So im trying to take my business elsewhere and now they wont give me a release letter cause im three or four months past due, this would be understandable if the fact they they would return my multiple calls that I had jaw surgery and couldn't come in for the next three to four months and that I would need a last bill statement. Never got the bill they only continued to bill me. I will say the guy I believe that is in admin is the only logical person I want to say his name is Pedro or Pablo maybe. There are many of other orthodontist in the area that will treat you as family and if it was their smile they were working on. read more

I had my treatment a long time ago but something happened to my google review. I made a longer review on BBB so I won't repeat everything here but this business lied in their reply to my review- straight up lied and denied doing everything they did to me from refusing to provide my records to forcing me to sign something before they agreed to remove my braces. Even though I expressed concerns, it wasn't addressed. Joanie, who worked on me, eventually admitted to having prescription glasses that she didn't even wear. Then it finally made sense why my brackets were misplaced and had to be redone. Trying to see the actual doctor was a nightmare. And then if you complain online they'll share your private info in their comment and just deny doing what they did. I'm done being intimidated into silence about how they treated me. And before you try to come onto my review and lie again, know I was seen under my maiden name so it's interesting how on the BBB review you claimed to pull up my perfect file where I was "happy" and I wasn't even seen under that name. Really makes you wonder. And yes, I did move out of state, so don't try to claim I was never a patient either. read more

I was nervous about getting braces at an older age. Dr. Lach was very informative through the process and weighed the pros/cons for braces and invisalign and what worked for me and my budget. At this point i am happy with the service, and would recommend him. read more

growing up in Florida was an awkward time as i have the weirdest smile and crooked teeth to match. Dr. Latch was able to fix everything in about 8 months, a little longer than normal, but I had a unique issue. His staff was friendly and pleasant every time i went. Dr. Lach was always a straight shooter in telling me the facts, which i appreciate. 11/10 would recommend read more

My daughter had her braces put on over 4 years ago. They were very expensive and there was always 'additional' charges for this or that. They recently removed her braces stating her treatment was complete and although they are greatly corrected from where she began, her teeth are still very misaligned and she's got a significant overbite. You feel like cattle in the office because the entire back office is lined with dental chairs which are always filled which leaves zero room for parents. The dental techs are the one's that work on you and do all repairs and fittings etc NOT the actual orthodontist. I DO NOT recommend this practice at all. I'm actually debating on going to another orthodontist for an evaluation because her teeth look like crap. read more

If you are looking for a great Orthodontist, look no further, little waiting time for appointment, friendly staff, I had a great Tech who was very compassionate and understanding of my TMJ problem ie I cant keep my mouth open for long, he made it a very comfortable experience, Dr. Lach always walks around with a friendy smile on his face too. MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING As stated in previous reviews by prior patients, the staff DOES NOT explain what they are going to do before they do and when you question them you maybe get half of an answer. I had an appointment scheduled for 8/23/2017 to have my braces removed because per my contract and per the staff you can request to have your braces removed and end treatment if you are satisfied with the results. APPARENTLY THIS IS NOT THE CASE! I arrived to my appointment early that day. After signing the paperwork to have the braces removed, along with the additional paper asking if I wanted any of the additional up charges added (optional teeth whitening, permanent retainer, etc.). The girl who attended me told me she needed to wait for the doctor before she could remove them, which to me that's normal so I didn't question it. While waiting I asked about the pricing for the additional up charges/add ons since they were not listed. The doctor came looked at my teeth, the girl tells him that I am there for the "deband" (have my braces removed), the 2 of them discussed their game plan to each other in dental/medical terms. After seeing the doctor it was decided for me that my braces needed to stay on, part of my frustration is that it was not explained in layman's terms what needed to be done or what the next step was, the girl just started working. It wasn't until I see that she had taken out the instrument to "cure" a bracket that was being replaced. I asked "are my braces not coming off today?", in which she replied "oh you thought they were coming off?" When Rescheduling the next appointment I asked can my braces be removed on my next appointment? the reply I get "No, during that appointment the doctor will look at everything and decide what to do from there". I waited until Friday 8/25/17 to send an e-mail of my entire experience to the office and requesting to have an appointment made asap either a late appointment or Saturday appointment because I took a half day of work off for nothing. Also, requested for my next appointment to be waived since I was supposed to have my braces removed 8/23 and other plans were made for me. I have received no reply, sent follow up e-mail earlier today. read more

I contacted Dr. Lach's office for an consolation to have braces put on for my daughter. Dr. Lach was my son's orthodontist many years ago and we were very happy with his services. The lady that answered the phone (no name given Spanish accent) started with giving me information on the process. She talked for literally two minutes. I advised her that I was waiting for her to take breath so I could ask a question she said go ahead. Before I could get through with the question she interrupted me and started talking again. I told he that was rude an attempted to speak again and she just talked over me. She made the decision very easy to seek another orthodontist as I was not going to have to deal with this lady every time I came into the office. There is no telling how many customers Dr. Lach is losing due to this lady's attitude towards potential new clients. read more
