The nerve pain was so disabling that I had to carry a pillow everywhere. Sitting at my desk was impossible. Carrying a pillow into a meeting was embarrassing. Going out to dinner was a sacrifice. I became more and more reclusive. In my search for help, I miraculously found a book that lead me to a retreat with others suffering the same pain. I went all the way to Big Sur California for three days. There I was treated internally by a physical therapist who understood pelvic floor pain. Upon my return home, I went on a search to locate a therapist with the same understanding. I was blessed to find Miriam Graham, founder of Restore Motion in North Bethesda, MD. After suffering for two years, my condition began to resolve. It wasn't a quick fix. Nerves are the slowest things to heal in our bodies. I went to therapy with Miriam two times a week and continued for many months. My pelvic floor needed retraining to stop the muscles from re-tightening. I have been pain free for years now. I can sit anywhere on anything. No more pillows. This is a complicated condition. Miriam is an expert in this arena that few PT's know much about. Her work allowed me to return to a normal life.

I explained to them that against the law to not accept any Medigap supplemental to Original Medicare. But in vain. Very stupid office staff. Finally, their manager called their network manager, and they agreed I was right. They do not understand simple stuff. But too late, appointment cancelled, next available only in 2 months. I will do my best to get those office people fired. There are excellent doctors in that office, but I strongly recommend not dealing with the office idiots. Outrageous!

I was scheduled to have a telehealth appointment this morning. During my commute to work, I received a call from a girl named Sharma asking for my copayment balance to be paid before my appointment. Considering the various circumstances in my life, I apologize that I was not aware. However, I will make the payment through the portal. When I asked her if I could still be seen, she responded that payment must be made before the appointment. In my opinion, this did not answer my question. When I asked to speak with the billing department, I was informed that they weren't yet open. As I work in the medical field and have patients to see, I received calls but couldn't take them. Immediately prior to my appointment, I receive a call from the same person, Sharma, informing me that Dr Cohen had canceled my appointment if no payment had been received. When I asked to speak with Dr Cohen, the girl Sharma responded that he will not speak with me. It was at this point that I stated my position that I would not engage in back and forth discussion with Sharma. She replied, "Oki Doki.". To me, that was an unprofessional response. Sharma replies that I have been aggressive? If there is a recording of the call, I would suggest you listen to it. I should point out that every time I have been to the physicians' office, I have asked if i can pay my copay and they have always said we will bill you. I know how bad I am at remembering to send my bills. With all of my health issues, I would never have expected such treatment to be given to me in the event that I failed to pay my copayment. Additionally, I received a call from the billing department relaying the same message, but of course coworkers cover each other's bases. As much as it makes me sad, I will be leaving this practice.

Einbinder's staff pay no attention to detail, nor have any sense of alacrity…read more When asked to fill out simple medical form that they are responsible for submitting to the Department of Motor Vehicles every six months, they've consistently gotten it wrong (and continue to do so). Two pages, 19 fields of quick information to fill out was incomplete or wrong 16 times over a 2 year (five form cycles) period. This is a form that medically certifies driving privileges, which was lost three times due to these delays. Unacceptable.

He couldn't be bothered to waste any time with me as a new patient and sent me off to get an MRI and CAT Scan (didn't care or even bother to ask about my symptoms). He also couldn't be bothered to call me regarding the results- he had a technician call. So when I asked what the procedure was after this (since my scans were fine), the technician could only muster a: we have to refer you to a specialist. Uh sorry, aren't you the specialist?
