Excellent care! Easy going, down to earth and very helpful therapist. Also very organized - scheduling and billing are hassle-free.

I was not in need of an appointment until a few weeks ago. I did their 'on-line' form to update all my information and was told I would receive a call to set up an appointment. Well, a week went by with no call. I called the office and was told I would need to submit my information 'on-line', and then someone would call me back to set up an appointment. I told her that I had done this a week ago! She said she would look into my request and have someone call me back....That was last week, and I still have no appointment and no call back from them!

If you are like most other human beings seeking care who are looking for an empathetic therapist who will treat you like the human being that you are and not just another number who helps pay the bills, than I strongly suggest you stay as far away as possible from Dr. Eli Spector and psychological care associates. I was matched with Dr. Spector to help deal with anxiety. During my course of time with him, he consistently tried to push a DBT group on me and made me feel guilty for needing medication to deal with my anxiety. He didn't seem to express empathy at any time for the emotions and feelings I was having. The icing on the cake was when I scheduled an appointment with him hours after having an miscarriage. His response was that the "good news was I could get pregnant". Not really the best thing to say to someone experiencing a loss. When I returned the following week to see him, I intended to let him know how uncomfortable I felt but he cut me down again by telling me that my reaction to my miscarriage was "not normal". Such a horrible word to use with someone who has a child with special needs who is not neurotypical. I left his office feeling incredibly angry and upset. When I left a message expressing this, I received a cold voicemail with no apology for his words or any acknowledgment of the hurt and pain he caused me. In the end, seeing him put me even further behind in my journey of trying to heal. When I spoke with the office they were somewhat apologetic but I doubt he was ever spoken to. He was so wrong and disrespectful. He should have reached out and offered an apology or tried to find out what he had done that had caused me pain but since I was just another number and part of his paycheck he couldn't care less. I hope that no other woman has to sit in the same office as this horrible individual.
