Dr J seems ok but things ended up on my chart that are not correct I have a hard time hearing him for some reason and understanding what he is saying I have to keep saying what? He is very soft-spoken but seems nice helpful and makes sure you're being cared for and sends you for a test if something is wrong. I've been going to Dr.Jensen for over 30 years. He's seen about everyone in my family. He listens to me and understands things that I am going through. He takes his time with me whenever I call if I can't get in he will call me at home the girls in his office are very polite and friendly, they already know me I don't have to wait for anything and if I need a prescription they are on the ball. This is a great doctor and everyone should at least try him. You won't regret it. read more

This is the worst Dr I have ever met. He made a mistake on the billing after I advised him my wife and I wanted a physical. He billed it as an office visit even though my insurance covers the physicals. I contacted him (his office) and he will not change the billing. Do not trust the billing department or office staff. I am current filing a case with the Consumers affairs to try and resolve this issue. While doing to I discover that he is on probation for many other issues. read more

They asked me to come 15 min before my 3pm appointment. So I did 245Sat and waited for my paperwork which didn't come until I went to the window and told them they asked me to come 15 min before for that reason. she gave me the paperwork right away which shows I came early for NOTHING. Got my paperwork waited until 350 to be called in to need with the "nurse" didn't even know why I was here. I am still here for my 3pm appointment and it is 413pm this is for a physical. It feels and looks like an urgent care or ER. Waiting almost 2 hours to see the Dr is ridiculous. Let's see what is said if I decide to wait another 30 min in this room. Since I am sitting here still let me tel you about the cleanliness. The same pillow is on the bed from the last patient so I am not sitting there. The walls and floors are gross and like I said feels like an ER. He came 10 min after and I wasn't allowed to talk. I know nothing that is going on right now. read more

When I went for my annual physical this week, I waited for 15 mins in the lobby......then I was told he went to an emergency but he would be back......then 5 mins later I was told by the receptionist that he does not accept my insurance plan anymore. I have been going to David R Jensen for several years today I talked to the office [after trying to get info for 2 weeks] I was told today that Oxybutynin ER 10 mg was the only medication for my bladder incontinence the Oxybutynin gave me really bad uncontrolled bladder, on the way to the bathroom I would urinate on the floor and have to take a shower and clean up the mess this was going on every two hours. He took me off those meds now I have leakage and have to wear diapers all the time, is it really true nothing can help me? I am very frustrated and upset, cannot email the doctor and his office takes messages, not a big help read more

He didn't listen to my prescription plan that had worked for me. I let him know that the last doctor screwed up my prescriptions and that I had to make 6 visits to get it right. This went over this doctors head. I had to wait 1 hour after my appointment time to get checked in. The pharmacy faxed the request to update prescription and he and his staff did nothing to address it in a timely fashion. I called and left a voicemail with the answering service and I still haven't received a call back with an apology or to let me know things were fixed. Horrible service! I was told my son should be seen else where because he wasn't a well patient. He's perfectly healthy just legally blind. Now, two weeks later they have yet to do their job and get my son his ADHD medication. I'm very upset and frustrated that doctors/nurses can be so heartless. I would like to try to balance things out by saying the following: I thoroughly researched his credentials and carefully selected him because of his experience and education. I prefer an old doctor over one fresh out of UCLA or somewhere like that. He addresses your every concern, but you better have it all written down because if you forget, you'll need another appointment. That's where it gets sticky, because it's hard to book him earlier than two months. He does hand out prescriptions like candy. When you go for an appointment, be ready to wait over an hour to be seen. As a business owner, he's a sole proprietor and a seemingly grumpy old man with a power trip and probably doesn't like being told what to do. As a result of his ownership, he has weird hours and sometimes leaves the clinic doctor-less on a moment's notice. I've never had a physical done so I haven't yet experienced any awkwardness. I've been with him for over 3 years. There are a couple cute staff members on his team that can make the wait worthwhile, especially if u like some Hispanic eye candy. Altogether its not like a government medical office, but it's not top notch either. read more

I figured I'd give this dude another try after the first horrible experience. Nope. Not again. I've been here almost an hour waiting and it's 30 minutes past my appointment. Last time I was here I waited almost 2 hours and only saw the guy for 5 or 10 minutes. After today I'm finding someplace else to go. I understand having to wait to be seen but nearly 2 hours??? Come on. The first time I was here I had severe depression and anxiety issues. He looked at me like I was just being a cry baby and then said "Do you drink coffee?" I dont drink coffee often but I take a low amount of caffeine pills before working out. He gets this condensating look on his face and tells me "Let me do you a favor. Stop taking them". The preworkout pills I take have about the same amount of caffeine as 2 cups of coffee and help me concentrate. It's not the cause of my anxiety but ulhe wouldn't hear it. He'd cut me off and tell me to stop taking them. I would have better luck getting a PCP through the VA than to stay with this guy. This will be my last visit and if anyone is reading this I recommend you find someone else. read more

When I read through these reviews I have to wonder if any of these people even went to doctor Jensen. I've been going to Doctor Jensen for over two years and I never had to wait that long. All doctors are the same and most of them you do wait a long time that's the way it is with doctors are they don't know how long any one will take, some take longer than others. 45 minutes might be the longest I ever had to wait most of the time around 20 minutes. The doctor seems to be a very nice man he listens to you and sets up any test that you may need to find the problem and he makes sure you get any test you need. He probably saved my life when I told him my problem I was having with a little bit of hurting in my chest, he said you are not suppose to have any hurting in your chest and set me up with the heart doctor I had a 85% block of the main artery. If you need a doctor Doctor Jensen is the right guy. read more

I'm not one to go around leaving negative reviews but time and time again this doctor has wasted my time. The last three times I've had an appointment with him I show up at the office when I'm supposed to and the girl behind the desk is like oh yeah we tried to call you the Dr's not taking patients today. I have not received any phone calls my phones been next me the entire time so each one of those times I've taken off is a half a day at work I missed and I still have yet to see the doctor!. Even on the days that I go and he is there I show up at my appointment time it takes me well over an hour before I get to the back office in about an hour sitting there waiting then by the time the doctor comes to see me he's exhausted and in a bad mood I would not recommend him. read more

Sometimes doctors lack personality or respect in return for competence and skill. This is not the case for Dr Jensen... he should have his license taken away for his 3rd world country type service and poor attitude. First visit, went for a physical & I had to ask them to do blood tests. What??? I'm 53 - you do blood tests on a physical to get any in-depth info about my state of health. Isn't that a no brainer? Then had to go to another place for the tests - can't apparently do them at their office. ???? Paid $40 co-pay that visit, then had to pay another $40 co-pay just to have tests interpreted. What??? I've never had any doctor that did not just give you access to your test results via mail or online. I'm pretty sure it's just an excuse to get another $40 visit in. Front office staff is nice considering such an un-impressive office setting. Sigh. My husband's insurance plan just gave us this office as a primary care default. Made an appointment a week and a half in advance to get two shots. I was informed at the time that they didn't have the two vaccines and would order them. I arrive at the office, wait for an hour, only to be told that no one ever ordered the vaccines and that I'd have to make another appointment. Find another place, because the staff here is clearly incompetent. read more

i worked there for 3 weeks, and loved working with the other girls, i was doing patient check out, making appt, and referrals. i caught on very fast, and knew the system better then some the girls. i was very polite to the patient. i had no training at all on how to do the referrals. i had to jump in and learn, so after a week i knew how to do the referrals perfect , i actually cared about the patient and wanted to help, i communicated with them about the status of it. the doctors writing is terrible, and all he does is sit at his desk and eat drumstick ice creams back to back. i had a 3 week probation. i pasted the 3 weeks (7/1/13- 7/22/13) and that Monday. in between checking out a patient he pulled to a room, and told me i wasn't a good fit and thanks for my efforts handing me my last check. i was devastated , this job was a blessing for me, i graduated school . he was very harsh and cold about it. i hadn't done anything wrong to get fired, i got along with everyone, and was very professional. that im not a good fit. very disappointed, i was hired for front desk and fired cus im not an M.A.. i was in shock i did not see that coming at all. read more
