The immediate entry of this establishment really almost had me getting back into my car. I was appalled by the odor in the hallway to the Dr's office...it was horrible. But then I got to the office ..it was very clean, neat and no odors from the hallway made its way into the office. The medical staff were very kind and professional. Dr. Pruthi was very kind & professional too I felt comfortable with him. It's so nice to go to a medical office where you feel this way about the whole staff. The procedures that I'm getting ready to have I had to make sure I felt comfortable with the Dr even though it was for a short time that we met. Me, usually I know right away to walk away or stay. You walk down a dark hallway and enter the waiting room which resembles a 3rd world country clinic. The two women at the desk are unfriendly. The one favorable aspect is the Physician Assistants who conduct the initial exams. Helpful and friendly and patient. Dr. Pruthi does the procedures and he is the most arrogant and dictatorial physician I have ever met. There is no real discussion and explanations. He tells you what he wants to do without engaging in answering questions or partnering with the patient. I trust him not at all. read more

That being said I wish every doctor I had conducted him or herself like Dr. Pruthi. Dr. Pruthi is not only an expert in his field but he is kind, patient and caring. As busy and in demand as he is, he'd always walk in and never make me feel rushed. He'd take the time to explain things in a fashion that I could understand. As intelligent as he is he never made me feel inadequate in my lack of knowledge for the body and it's parts/functions. The doctor is great a very nice guy and a good doctor. The group he is part of is another story. I have suffered for a year with IBS I have the best insurance there is and they cannot just file simple paperwork for approval of medication. They don't give out doctors notes for work it's against there policy even though you are under there care they won't do it. The lady that runs the place is down right rude uncaring. She overrules the doctors requests and said the group rules are what she follows. Good luck Getting a hold of the group for anything they won't call back. It's a shame. So now I'm going to put them on blast they suck endodigestive health or whatever the call them self they suck. I will continue to go there for the doctor he his the best. I had a referral from my primary Dr. six months ago, but I never got the problem solved. They schedule you to see a doctor, then you have to wait a month to see him, and if they cancel your appointment you have to wait another month! My experience was so frustrating because I was in so much pain and It felt like they didn't care. For my last appointment, I had been waiting to see my doctor for month after having it canceled and rescheduled multiple times. On the day of my appointment, they called me to cancel it. I am very concerned for my health so I was disappointed and upset to see that being able to finally see my doctor would be so long and difficult to do.The staff is also terrible, as they are very unprofessional. I loved Dr Pruthi. Never had a colonoscopy or endoscopy before. It was quick outside of waiting almost two hours in recovery unnecessarily. My husband waited in the heat for an hour and a half after they told me I could call him to pick me up. If you're prescription is SUPREP, Don't get it! Dr Pruthi was upset that his office even prescribed it. I threw it up, it's disgusting. I called him and told him and he said SUPREP was a big waste of my money. Had to get a dear friend to run to the store and get a two dollar bottle of Magnesium Citrate. Soooo much better!!! I'll not ever do another colonoscopy..... read more

WARNING! I spent thousands of dollars after insurance and never got my problem resolved. The office staff once took an entire week to get back to me on some urgent questions, even after calling every day, and were extremely unhelpful and you could tell they couldn't care less about my legitimate questions. After waiting over three hours for a colonoscopy and being told it would be another hour, I rebelled and said I was cancelling my procedure. Immediately Dr. Pruthi was available in ten minutes. Over two weeks later in our phone call follow up I asked the doctor why all of a sudden he was available in ten minutes. I found it extremely rude of him to think I would believe him when he told me there was a broken boiler. Other patients were being treated and I was being told by staff I would be taken in another hour.... after already waiting for three. Twice he has tried to schedule another procedure. Why would I ever want to go back to a doctor who blatantly lied to me? Surely there are more competent and honest gastroenterologists who don't need to lie to their patients. read more

Had a hinal hernia surgery and now it's worst. When they did robotic surgery. They cut all the nerves in my stomach and the nerve that controls my muscles in my stomach. Now I have gastroparesis. I had United Health Care HMO through my current job, but when I got married at the end of last year, I immediately switched to PPO since I wanted to find a good variety of specialists for my ongoing medical needs. I had my first upper G.I./colonoscopy 5 years ago and was looking for a doctor to do my second one. My grandmother died of colon cancer and it's recommended that I would do one every five years, so I was due. Making an appointment with his office was easy, once I got through the tedious recording system, as most medical offices are doing now during this COVID-19 pandemic. I met with him at his office and I didn't have to wait long at all. It was easy to check in and his staff is composed of friendly women. Dr. Pruthi was patient my first assessment, he went over my medical history with me and assured me that everything would be fine. I scheduled my colonoscopy with him and two weeks later, there I was! When I got to the center where they do these procedures, I was told first thing in the morning that I needed to give an urine sample. No one told me that I needed to be ready with a full bladder, so three hours later and two IV bags full of saline later, I finally was able to give them an urine sample. Dr. Pruthi came out himself from the procedure room and greeted me in my little hospital bed. He said that he would wait as long as it was necessary in order to do my procedure even though I was three hours behind my scheduled time. He was more than accommodating with me and was very sweet. Due to COVID-19, I had to schedule a follow up appointment with him via Internet conference and that was easy to figure out, and set up, even on my phone. My polyps came back benign and he said to come back for initial follow-up treatment, which I did this afternoon. Again he's very sweet and gentle, and he really knows his stuff. First, this physician prescribed a medication no longer manufactured. I placed three phone calls to the office within 10 days and kept being told someone would get back with me. I spoke with a nurse and girls who answer the phone. It's been over a month and still no call back. I have been hearing now that this physician is in it for the money. I switched my care to a physician who has been amazing. I did not appreciate having to pay a co pay for nothing. His staff and rude and a month and a half later still has not gotten back to me. Then when I called to cancel all future appts they have the nerve to act shocked when I told them I switched care. Forward to the care I am receiving from my new doctor. Abso best colonoscopy prep. Get it from his office. Just like drinking gatorade. I actually went to him after reading reviews. I've had a severe cough everyday for over 30 years. I've seen tons of drs and taken a lot of maximum dose medicines. He ordered an endoscopy and recommended a colonoscopy at the same time since I would be sedated. Wow everything went well and he immediately gave me an update on what was going on. I had some problems... he quickly told me he could take care of everything. I'm eager to get everything done and live a normal life. I can't express how pleased I am that I found Dr Pruthi. He is very polite and listens well. I had been going to doctor Prithy for over 10years but when I got sick he was no help to me. Out of nowhere I went into liver failure last January 2021(personal I know it was from Covid vaccine). Dr Prithy sent me to a lab to get some tests done from a study. That didn't come out well and including my blood test he said I had 2 years left. I would need to quit my job and join a study if i wanted to survive. I was floored! Then he said he would see me in 6 months. I left that appointment in tears. I immediately got a second opinion. For a whileni have been looking for a good GI doctor i started researching and found dr.pruthi i went to my first appt i.asked for meds to help me with my stomach issues i was diagnosed with croahns he said sorry i wont give u meds i need to run test first male sure i give u the right meds all i could take is advil i know to.some people they would be mad but to me thats a great dr. Dr. Pruthi did a tiff procedure on me in June of 2019. I had a small hernia to which doctor Pruthi didn't feel needed any correction however 7 months later and that hernia had gotten bigger and my Tif procedure failed. Dr. Pruthi identified it immediately and scheduled me for a repair of the hernia and a revision procedure on my Tiff both this summer of 2021. Since both repairs I have had absolutely no indigestion whatsoever! I am so happy not to have this heartburn to which I've been living with since I was a teenager and medication to control it since age 35 I am now 65 and feeling great and no more medications.
