After a few month took the guitar back to BCR to see what could be done to address the issue of screws extending approximately 1/8 ins on the saddle. Was told appeared a setup, filling down and other work needed to be done. Was told, by the sales person, that this work was not covered by the manufacturer although it appeared that this was definitely a manufacturer defect or just SLOPPY work. I can understand wanting to generate income and BCR does do excellent repair work but to summarily disregard without reaching out to the manufacturer was disconcerting. The technician answering the telephone was very pleasant. He gave me a choice of times. The initial time was later that same day I called! Another time was given in the event that the technician was unable to make the timeframe I first chose. The technician then later called to ask if he could come early!!! YES! He came out, explained thoroughly what the code mean and what he felt the issue was and fixed it immediately. He also explained another issue the code could mean but thought that it was only the fan issue and not a coolant issue. So he fixed it quickly and ensured I knew to call him should the issue reappear. I was very pleased with the honesty and integrity of the men in this company. They chose to do their business in honesty, not overcharging for service not necessary. Because I am an older woman, many companies seem to try to take advantage and overcharge. NOT THIS COMPANY!!! CALL THEM! I now have a fully functioning refrigerator that has been going strong. The whole cost was less than $100. The technician even gave me information on what to ask for at Home Depot/Lowes to fix the issue of re-hooking up the water line after the water line was moved during a downstairs complete remodel.

Nathan also understood that I was reluctant to spend money for a service visit/repair that could exponentially exceed the value of this 20+ year old refrigerator. As a result, he provided me with several troubleshooting tips that I performed to help narrow down the root cause of the issue. I was able to check these things the same evening and share updates with Nathan via text. Once again, he responded promptly (after hours), and determined that repairing this refrigerant leak was going to be expensive. I credit Nathan with saving me a lot of money to repair an old refrigerator and, at the very least, money saved for a service visit which would've resulted in the same answer. In conclusion, Nathan was polite, professional, and a great communicator. He didn't charge me for his remote troubleshooting or the pro-tips. Our 27 year old Kenmore over the range microwave in Bisque,died about a week ago, and my repair guy…read moresaid "you'll never find Bisque, but try Smith's - they may have something, maybe a scratch and dent, and we cant fix it, the parts are no longer available". One of the big box stores' websites claimed they had bisque (but not locally) and could deliver in a few months. So we debated a bit about black, white, or stainless. When we needed repairs on two of our other (similarly old) appliances the repairman said the parts were no longer available. I had seen Smith's near the fairgrounds and knew roughly where it was, so I called, got good directions via phone, and was greeted promptly by the owner. When I said I needed an over the stove microwave - in bisque - instead of "sorry" he said he tries to keep bisque in stock and had one in the back room right now, new in box! Would next week be ok? Yes please! His deliver - install - haul away price was far better than the chain store prices AND he had it in stock! The installers arrived on time, removed the old one, checked the new one, and determined that the opening in the cabinetry was too deep ; the new one would go in but the doors wouldn't open. Oops! They called someone to handle the necessary carpentry, which was done efficiently for a perfect fit. No muss, no fuss. The new microwave fits AND works perfectly, and matches our other bisque appliances. Nobody is predicting another 27 years, but that's ok - I'm sure our other appliances will fail sooner or later and we know where to go!
